Zhufbar (GCCM) The Torrent Gate

Description
Zhufbar -The Torrent Gate ver 1.1

Zhufbar is located in the Worlds Edge Mountains on the borders of the Empire, nestled in a deep chasm under the dark mountain lake known as Black Water. High above the city a huge waterfall cascades from the lake and rushes down the chasm. Long ago, Dwarf Engineers were able to build machines to capture the energy of the swift flowing torrent, to power drop hammers, ore crushers, washing pans and other mining and metalworking constructs. The city contains the main shrine for the Dwarf Engineers Guild and it is a centre for smithing and every kind of industry. It was from here that the Dwarfs first passed on the knowledge of metalworking and engineering to the humans of the Empire, and engineers from both races have had a close relationship ever since. The noise of mining and industry resounds though Zhufbar constantly, and at night the chasm glows with the light of a thousand furnace fires as the siege engines and steam-powered machines of the Dwarfs are assembled around the clock. The Map
This Zhufbar map features the torrent gate of Zhufbar and a underground entrance to the city. Vanguard units will provide access to the underground pathway, which might prove the easier way in. The map is for multiplayer/custom battles and will be in the grand campaign custom map mod in the future. The map is a siege map, with functional walls, towers and capture points. The AI will use these accoridingly while spawning rams and sieges towers when attacking. In multiplayer, make sure that everyone has downloads the map prior to game load as the map won't auto download ingame.

This is the first public version, which has some minor flaws. DO NOT have this map enable while you have your campaign running or you might get some very fast units.

Awesome map, a stranded dwarven army and city garrison made an epic stand against three vampire armies. Only a handful survived, all the unholy beings finally banished for good!

faught to seige battles in the grand campaign on this map and id say prolly the best experience i had :)

1st . invaded as Greenskins (SFO ) make it pretty fun
2nd . invaded as empire.. it was being defended by greenskins
3rd. Invaded as drawfs.. it was defended by greenskins.

Boiling oil or flaming oil can be found on other maps. The campaign does not have the underground thing as the AI will struggle with such thing. Thanks for the post psychoticsoul

Great map, love all the thematic water in it.

I didn't have any vanguard units to use it when i played it in campaign, but the extra access point for them is a great touch.

Also nice to see the gates shoot at me with steam. Is this how the equivalent of boiling oil could be implemented in TWWH?
