Quick patch on missed line for Hardcoding VA settings.

Not Alone By:TenuredCLOUD V2.1 MP Patch

//FIXED// Should have fixed Blacklisting for some pistol items,
The Mauser pistol was spawning at Crashsites when it was Blacklisted (tested on Hosted MP and 24/7 dedicated)

//TWEAKED// VD Crashsites reverted back to MOD crashes, you should now be able to search cargo bay for loot.

//TWEAKED// With some help from The Dude, I exported VA mod settings
through the clipboard and added 'force force' to every setting in VA mod. This way EVERY client connected to your server will be hardcoded to the same settings as the mission's BASE settings.

//TWEAKED// Starting gear (pistol only)


Hopefully this small patch will help with some issues, especially with item spawns.

//TAKE NOTE// With the settings hardcoded into the mission in order to edit them you will have to de-pbo the mission file and edit them from there, ALSO, with the settings hardcoded loot seems to be MUCH MUCH more rare, matching the 35 years after setting.

We tested and tested this 2.0 patch for MP and the features seem to be working 100% now I had to essentially revert The Burning rain back into ANOTHER MP mission which came with tons of issues as the 1.9 Not Alone patch basically was removed at that point. I worked through the files and got the sqm to finally stop posting errors on BP missing assets and what not. It was work, but I got it done, Hopefully you now can ALL enjoy seemless fluid reload animations, as well as a much better polished mod. BP had some major issues as far as stability goes, so I went ahead and replaced it with NIArms.

//TWEAKED// Server slots are brought up to par scenario now supports a 20 slot player count (easily changeable)

//ADDED// GF's Holster script (4 key) and his Headphones script (5 key)

//ADDED// JakeHekesFists[DMD] 2019 Server mission system, the scenario will now have a continuios dynamic range of missions for the player and their friends to complete, with HIGH loot, HIGH stake rewards.

//REMOVED// While doing testing I removed massive amounts of redundant files, images, and scripts to clean up the file size. The mission will no longer be 300Mb+ as this is a high annoyance for joining players.

//TWEAKED// Some in game map items have been tweaked or removed.


//BEWARE// This MP scenario is still VERY MUCH a WIP, you can EXPECT glitches, bugs, or possibly even some game breaking mechanics happen. Please do not quite playing! If you notice anything wrong take action, get involved, let me and my development team KNOW the issues and we will act accordingly to test and smash these bugs, and if we cannot then we'll just have to bear with them!


//NOTES// Take note that this mission file has essentially been converted to be ran on a 24/7 DEDICATED host. This means it will run a lot better on a dedicated machine. If you are going to host this mission I HIGHLY recommend setting it up with the TADST server manager. You can grab the newest version off of the Armaholic website.

That's pretty much it for this update, and I apologize for the MASSIVE wait time, this has been a HUGE bear to test and configure accordingly. NOT ALONE V1.4 BETA RELEASE ~STABLE~



"Not Alone" is now basically matching with "The Burning Rain" However I had to remove and heavily tweak some items to get there. Here is the Changelog:

  • FIXED and rebuilt respawn system. No more spawning in the middle of the ocean when killed.

  • TWEAKED the player settings, each player can be loaded up, and each survivor has different loadouts.

  • REMOVED the full weather system. This is going to be a hard one to reintroduce into THIS version of the scenario. So much is going on within the mission that this MAY have to stay out... I may however build a "dedicated" Server release just for this mission, as the weather system running for ALL 10 players is a serious performance killer.

  • FIXED multiple areas within the mission were from the older Burning Rain updates, these have been tweaked to the newer version of the mission file. This includes the Prison, and Snow area of the map.

  • TESTED the overlay system (food and thirst) icons, they are working for ALL players loaded in. :)

  • TESTED ALias's Farty script/Mod and it is working for ALL entities / players.

  • TWEAKED vehicle spawns, more vehicles have been placed around the map.

  • REMOVED the single superhind heli that patrols North-Eastern region of the map, as he was more annoying than anything else. ALL other heli's are STILL around.

  • TWEAKED Player amount is now set at 10 players.

  • EDITED some of the scripts within the missions files as some do NOT belong.

  • REMOVED Vandeanson's Infection script. Like the weather system, I will need to dig deeper into this and decide if it stays out, or if I need to make some serious edits for it to stay. One definite problem, is not EVERYONE can get infected, ONLY the host can. Also, when AI and Zombies drop the Antibiotics, if they are left on the ground they will stay there until Server RESET, or WIPE.

That is all for this update, me and my friends hammered away at this mission and played it multiple times to no end for testing purposes and it's FINALLY BACK! I hope you all seriously enjoy this update!


Things to keep a note of:

  • Player loadouts are SAVED with death, or leaving of mission (aborting) WHATEVER the player is wearing at the time will be SAVED, just remember if the player chooses a different survivor number (different slot) than they were previously on, they can potentially lose their kits / gear. So try to keep your friends on the SAME character they select when first playing on the server!

  • After a long run of the mission (long up-time of server) the mission may become laggy, or unstable. this can be fixed with a simple restart of the server. REMEMBER, the WORLD STATE resets, NOT your GEAR that you were LAST WEARING!

HUGE update. Completely overwridden the old "Not Alone" mission, it no longer exists. This version is currently matching "The Burning Rain" version's last update. Respawning seems to work as intended, and has been tested (solo seems okay, I have no idea how it will react with other players). Though be warned, MP is completely different than SP and has a lot more bugs, this is me saying you will run into bugs. I hope you all enjoy this update, I know it has been quite sometime since I've released one.

HUGE update for this scenario. Completely overwridden the old map, it is updated to "The Burning Rain" EXACT same update, just with 4 players... Persistency seems to work solo and tested. There are still some bugs because MP is completely different then SP (be warned now this scenario is NOT perfect.) Hope you all enjoy.

Changed Scenario from being a 3 player mission to a 4 player mission, each player has 2 lives. Fixed the Weather system and the annoying "you are not cold" pop-up is now disabled. Updated scripts being used in the scenario and even added some, for example I added in the hybrid loot system used in "The Burning Rain" and in "The Broken" you and other players can now find loot inside of buildings on the ground (although it is rare, it is usually pretty good finds.) Please take note you might experience some lag in the first couple of minutes into the scenario as this is because a lot of the scripts being used are very heavy when being initialized for the first time, after a couple of minutes though, gameplay should smooth out (Lag isn't horrible, and it's too be expected.) I disabled the zombies dropping loot, (for some reason they weren't when I would shoot them, so that script is out.) The weather effects script is now updated to the latest version and now vehicles should be warm areas for all players once they enter them. (also all ravage fires are coded in as well.) That's pretty much it... Most other missions and things from "The Burning Rain" have also been ported as well... Fixed Saving and persistency issues while running server with friends, Multiplayer saves should now work. Me and GilliganTrevor93 worked on this issue for a couple of hours, and now all seems to work. Thanks all for playing! And I hope you enjoy!
