  • Burning Touch's range increased from 2 -> 3

Bug Fixes:

Other Improvements:
  • Improved Condemning Explosion's tooltip to better reflect the targetting conditions.

Update: 8 Aug, 2018 @ 11:06am

Version 1.1.4
Minor improvements patch.

Balance Improvements:

  • Burning Touch now cleanses Fire Immunity and now deals ~15% more damage.
  • Odin's thoughts: Burning Touch was a bit overshadowed by Fire Whip. Also, solo-Pyro's had issues with Fire Immunity effects in the early-mid game. Giving sourcerers the ability to remove Fire Immunity early seems very powerful, but lest we forget that not only is Burning Touch's range only 2 metres, and Fire Immunity completely kills Pyromancers.

Bug Fixes:
  • Resolved an issue where Epidemic of Fire could only be purchased from level 13 onwards, rather than level 9 onwards as intended.

Update: 3 Aug, 2018 @ 12:10pm

Version 1.1.3
Added a new Phoenix skill and a minor bug fix.

New Skill(s):

  • Phoenixian Ashes (Pyromancy 5, Divine Tier (Lvl 16+)):
    • If the target is an enemy, deal fire damage and apply a stack of Scorch. The target is afflicted with Phoenixian Fury for 2 turns, causing them to deal devastating damage in a 4m radius upon death.
    • If the target is an ally, they will be granted Phoenixian Revival for 2 turns, causing them to revive to 25% Vitality upon death.
    • Odin's thoughts: Phoenix skills are versatile and have pretty cool effects, but aren't we missing an important feature of Phoenixes? That's right, reviving from ashes! This skill provides a good tool to keep your team going when the going gets rough, and provides excellent after-death damage to enemies (especially when used with Flaming Crescendo!).

Bug Fixes:
  • Resolved an issue where Inflame was showing as a Starter Tier skill in Character Creation.

Update: 31 Jul, 2018 @ 11:28am

Version 1.1.2
Minor improvements patch.

Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue where the Flame Elemental and Fire Slug were unable to use two of their skills at lower levels.

Other Improvements:
  • Improved the animations of Will of the Phoenix and Purifying Fire by making all of them consistently green.

Update: 26 Jul, 2018 @ 1:24pm

Version 1.1.1
Minor patch with some small enhancements.

Balance Improvements:

  • Inferno now applies Smolder to enemies.
  • Inflame now hits enemies within a 3m radius from the target.
  • Inflame now sets Smolder Aura on the primary target.

Bug Fixes:
  • Removed a scrapped skill, Pyrohelix, from the starting skills menu.

Other Improvements:
  • Changed the starting talent of Scorcher from Farout Man to Torturer.
  • Tweaked character creation armour colours to be less orange.
  • Cleansed crash files, making the mod slightly smaller in file size.

Version 1.1.0
This initial update is the initial quality of life patch. Now that I have far more user feedback, I have made some changes to finetune this update.

New Skill(s):

  • Inflame (Pyromancy 4, Master Tier (Lvl 13+)):
    • Deal moderate fire damage to a single target and apply two stacks of Scorch.
    • Then, if the target has five stacks of Scorch and no Magic Armour, they are afflicted with Necrofire.
    • Odin's thoughts: Who doesn't love Necrofire? Typically, Necro abilites are typically used for Source skills (specifically Curse-themed). However, as this skill and Condeming Explosion apply Necrofire in Scorch-based conditions, I believe it is fair to apply Necrofire in these situations. This skill is also a great opener - applying two stacks of Scorch immediately reduces Fire Resistance by 10%, meaning any subsequent fire skills will melt your foes even moreso!

Balance Improvements:
  • All Scorch-applying skills have had their upfront damage increased by ~10%. Later on in the game, the numbers in Version 1.0.0 were just a little bit too low. Thanks to Turk for providing good feedback about damage numbers!
  • Flamethrower, now called Incinerate, has a new effect. If an enemy hit by this skill has Necrofire, they will infect the flames spawned by this skill. This means it is less vanilla, more of-a-winna.
  • Purifying Fire now removes Necrofire from allies.
  • Purifying Fire now removes Wet, Chilled, Frozen, Invisible, and Fire Immunity from enemies, helping to remove both easy-to-apply Fire Resistances as well as having an answer to Fire Immunity.
  • Devour Flames now grants Flamebelly upon cast, granting 15% Fire Resistance for 2 turns.
  • Will of the Phoenix now grants Fire Immunity for 1 turn when cast on an ally. The heal wasn't always that useful, plus Fire Immunity is always a nice "sorry I burnt your face off" present to give a teammate.
  • Magma Geysor leaves a fire cloud behind instead of a fire surface. Thanks to baardvaark for the suggestion!
  • Bleed Fire increased cast-hit radius from 2 to 3m.
  • Flaming Crescendo now Terrifies the target for 1 turn (provided they have no Magic Armour) upon explosion. This also applies to the early detonation which can be invoked by applying a fifth scorch stack. Thanks to GravenMortuus♡ for the suggestion!
  • Ragnarok now travels farther.
  • Inferno's projectile damage has been increased by ~10% per shot.
  • Searing Volley's projectile damage has been increased by ~5% per shot.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue where Scorch V was dealing 10% less damage than intended.
  • Fixed an issue where Spontaneous Combustion's Scorch damage was significantly less when used with three stacks.
  • Sol'Lithe now sells Bleed Fire - she was keeping that book for herself before!

Other Improvements:
  • Improved Ragnarok's animation speed.
  • Improved colours on text in some of the tooltips.
  • Magma Geysor has a new skill icon.
