Version 2.0 - the Weapon Update

Massive content update.

Attribute updates
  • Might and Magic raised to 8% damage per point and respective armor values granted lowered to 3%.
  • Speed raised to 6% damage per point and lowered to 1% dodging per point. Enemies no longer benefit from dodging or damage boosts from Speed.

Ability changes
  • Summons now inherit the ability points of their owners, indirectly buffing Summoning at later levels (by which point it would typically fall off in the base game).
  • Necromancy now grants a 2% chance to raise slain enemies as undead servants during the same combat instance only. NPCs do not gain from this.
  • Ranged -> Specialist: now grants a 3% chance per point to interrupt enemy skills with a flashy weapon attack. Must have vision of the foe to use. NPCs do not gain from this.
  • Two-handed -> Berserk: now grants a 5% chance per point to perform a smaller version of the Whirlwind skill upon taking damage. Hurts both allies and enemies. NPCs are able to gain from this.
  • Dual-wielding -> Duelist: now grants a 2% dodge boost per point during combat and a further 2% per point upon taking damage. The bonus stacks indefinitely and is reset when the character dodges an attack. NPCs do not gain from this.
  • A secret new replacement for an existing ability has been added to the game. Several days were spent creating this and I think it's a lot of fun.

General/balance changes
  • Elemental Resistance bonuses are now halved for Lone Wolf characters.
  • Global crit multiplier is now 200%.
  • Damage from low ground now decreased by 20% and damage from high ground now increased by 30% (originals were 10% and 20% respectively).
  • Global range boost cap raised to 35 from 30.

Bug fixes
  • Speed no longer overrides Crippled or Entangled. Be warned that any mod that overrides either status (none exist that I am aware of) will unfix this.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Pyrokinetic's effect to proc a roll attempt for every enemy hit by an AoE. Ability function now matches description.
  • Aerothurge's passive can now be used to stun through armour. Prior, Shocked removed existing Shocked statuses instead.
