Light Machine Guns Update (0.9):

The light machine guns fire for much longer (in other words, are more energy efficient) than the CARs/SMGs and are marginally more accurate (but not as straight and accurate as the assault rifles) but don't do quite as much damage as both.

- Added M249, QJY88, PKM, XM8LMG, MG36, and MG3.
- Increased the spread of the PP2000 to better emphasize its "close-close quarters" role.

Now that all of the weapons are in-game, future updates will focus on:

- Enabling the Tier 3, 4 and 5 weapons to drop as boss loot.
- Editing/finetuning muzzle and hand positions for some weapons

Sniper Rifles & Balance Tweaks Update (0.8):

For those with good aim, sniper rifles are outstanding at dealing precision damage and all have high damage per shot (not DPS), however if you miss, don't expect to quickly get off a second shot until you get your hands on the VSS.

- Added M24, GOL, SV98, M95, SVU and VSS.
- Added S20K, the 6th shotgun that was missing from the Shotguns Update.
- Added different tiers of preexisting weapons. Tiers range from 2-5, with the game's faction default weapons all starting at Tier 2. (WIP.)

Current tier system functions like this:

Assault Rifles: M416/AUG/AEK971 > XM8 > M16 > AN94
CARs/SMGs: SCAR/9A91/AKS74u > PP2000 > UMP > XM8C
Shotguns: 870MCS/TOZ194/S20K > SPAS12 > NS2000 > SPAS15
Sniper Rifles: M24/GOL/SV98 > SVU > M95 > VSS

- Added recipes for the Tier 2 weapons; they are all craftable at the Anvil for varied amounts of gold bars - anybody who's played Bad Company will understand this choice.
- Increased the damage of most of the assault rifles.
- Slightly decreased the damage of the starting/faction standard compact assault rifles to keep them from being statistically identical to the starting/faction standard assault rifles.
- Amplified the XM8's firing sound since it was too quiet.

Compact Assault Rifles/SMGs Update (0.7):

CARs/SMGs fire a bit faster than assault rifles and are more energy-efficient, but do slightly less damage and have a bit of a cone of fire rather than shooting directly straight, which also makes them ideal for hitting grouped targets.

- Added SCAR, AKS74u, 9A91, PP2000, UMP, XM8C.
- Tweaked firing speed of M416, AUG, AEK971, AN94, XM8.
- Lowered firing volume of M416, AUG, AEK971, AN94, XM8, M16.

Shotguns Update (0.6):

- Added 870MCS, TOZ194, SPAS15, SPAS12, NS2000 (forgot the S20K but it will be added in a future update).
- Added a recipe for the M416 to test the recipe/crafting system. It was successful; once all the weapons are in the mod I'll begin creating recipes for each.
- Lowered the volume intensity for automatic fire on the vast majority of the assault rifles, namely the AUG, AN94 and XM8. Hopefully your hearing will recover.
