downgrade

The map has been downgraded, its kept all its optimization and other fix changes, but the latest map layer (Water Works) will be moved to a different release of the addon.

This was due to the issue that the map was crashing server host provider's consoles somehow. So, the map was simply reverted to the point when it wasnt doing such a thing.

bug fixes

A new layer added, Water Works:
Water Works is a connection map that leads to Northern Forest, as the sudden jump from dry desert to forest was unnatural. Also it gives what ever faction that control's Northern Forest more map say/control as before they where stuck with only the Forest area.
-water plant / power relay station
-end of bridge is the main power generator house
-small town with a NORAD outpost under it
-train bridge
-contains a cave behind the water plant/power relay station


Salem City:
-lots of bug fixing and texture fixes
-lots of buildings fixed so you cant walk into them
-lots of optimization
-added in camp outside of the Water Works connection tunnel


Atomic Sector:
-radiation in the crater has been reduced ALOT
-fixed up some lighting in all locations around the sector
-bit of optimization
-fixed some of the terrain around the vault's shed


Northern Forest:
-some optimization
-added wood pillars to the wall at the town surrounded by the metal wall
-added a wood wall to the opposite town


Vault 15:
-Cave Interior textures changed to fit better
-Entry way textures changes to seam cleaner
-bridge extention after vault door open, fixed
-lighting all around fixed
-2nd floor's living area extended, now looks like a proper vault 15 2nd floor
-optimization
-texture changes to the elevator


Overall changes to the map:
-overall optimization per map layer
-reduced fog by 25%
-lighten the fog
-made the fog 10% transparent
-added in soundscapes to the map to make the map feel more alive
-removed more non-essential construction and geometry

NCR Update

-fixed the render distance of props.
-introduced better render blocking system per each map sector.
-added in a camp outside the northern forest tunnel suppose to belong to NCR, comes with 4 tents, camp fire, and a small jail. surrounded by barriers on one side and security gates.
-added in a missile silo for the future, comes with a launch sequence that is terminated in mid count-down.
-removed some non-essential construction and geometry.
-fixed up some of the city area.
-fixed the depot on Atomic, adding in a barracks on the second floor section.
-raised up the hills around the small town in the corner of Salem City, and colored them a bit to see differences between them and the ground better, as well as added in a crossing bridge to add some flavor to the town.
