-all personnel have adopted the newest stitched gold patch.


INFOR: Armed Civilians:

-all Armed Civilians skill percentage decreased from 30% to 25%. Fleeing coefficient increased to from 70% to 75%. Combat Mode has been set to “Do Not Fire Unless Fired Upon” with Behavior set to “Safe.”

-all militia personnel skills verified at 35%, with fleeing coefficient at 65%.

-all militia recruit skills verified at 30%, with fleeing coefficient at 70%.

-guerrilla fire team at intersection east of roadblock replaced with armed civilians and relocated to neighboring compound.

-guerrilla fire team on road east of roadblock replaced with armed civilians and relocated to compound just south of roadblock.


INFOR: Unarmed Civilians:

-all Unarmed Civilians skill percentage verified at 20%, with fleeing coefficient verified at 80%. Combat Mode has been set to “Forced Hold Fire.” AI skills for Target, Autotarget, and Weapon Aim disabled.

Playtest, 31-JUL-21

-the following changes were made in light of the 31-JUL-21 playtest with Fire Team Gladius and the Sword of Nod:


BLUFOR: Global Defense Initiative:

-guard radius for fire team at village headquarters increased and set to activate when OPFOR are not present.


OPFOR: Brotherhood of Nod:

-locations of outpost flags standardized between Nod 01A and Nod 01B missions.

-Zubin Arkardi briefing and timing adjusted.

-Motor Pool notification text adjusted.

-task completion notification assigned to the militia forward barracks verified functional.

-Sword of Nod and Strike Team Gladius flags added to Outpost New Beginnings. Credits board updated.


INFOR: Tmassah Militia:

-applying the principle of “defense with purposes” as recommended during playtesting of Nod 01B: The Movement Ignites, militia personnel have been redeployed from the western building compound and scattered, as there is no purpose to protecting that specific compound with the original level of armed forces and patrols-there is nothing of value in that structure.

-militia personnel near the confirmed contacts tower have ceased their patrol and adopted scattered defense throughout the tower and nearby buildings.

-securing the militia forward barracks now requires eliminating both 4-man fire teams and having Nod forces enter the compound perimeter.

-Delta Assault squad targets will begin their movement route after the militia forward barracks is secured rather than immediately at the mission start.

-guard radius for village fire team set to activate when OPFOR are not present.

-additional militia personnel added to buildings close to roadblock. Armed and unarmed civilians redeployed.

-militia roadblock security sequence now uses a determination of specific fire teams’ member counts as less than 1 rather than equal to zero as trigger condition.

-neutralizing the militia roadblock will now require securing both the tower and the multi-story building in the nearby compound for task completion.

-securing the medical tent for reinforcements to deploy will now require Nod forces to occupy the compound, in addition to eliminating the militia teams on defense.

-mission failure sequence related to Zubin Arkardi being killed refined to remove action to speak to Arkardi immediately upon his death.

-action to “Speak to Zulu” will now be removed from Zubin Arkardi’s entry if he is killed.

Scenario:

-custom damage handling and turret effects disabled on all vehicles, as the exact impact on the scenario has not been determined either way.


OPFOR: Brotherhood of Nod:

-all engineering skill sets have been removed from all personnel, as these skills are not required to change tires on vehicles.

-spare wheel count in Desert Patrol Vehicles reduced from 4 to 2.
