Scenario:

-verifying functionality following update to Command & Conquer: ARMA III Lives mod.

Scenario:

-an additional objective has been added: Attack and secure the militia forward barracks. This objective will be considered complete when the designated area is “seized” by OPFOR: All militia forces in the forward barracks area will either need to be killed or retreat while Nod forces move inside the forward barracks compound perimeter.

-briefing and task descriptions updated in accordance with new objective and recommended radio frequencies as offered by ACRE (which remains optional). A “Mission” section has been added.


OPFOR: Brotherhood of Nod:

-UAZs have been replaced with Desert Patrol Vehicles to resemble the actual mission more closely.

-each vehicle now has its own independent trigger which will declare that the vehicle is destroyed with an audio and hint notification – this is being done to ensure these notifications are displayed properly.


INFOR: Tmassah Militia:

-position of militia in northern village adjusted. Northern village building garrison team now has the ability to follow waypoint paths. Second militia team position adjusted from outside the compound perimeter to inside the perimeter.

-militia forces inside forward barracks area have had specific unit designations removed, as per “Seized by OPFOR” trigger syntax enabling the objective requirements more simply.


INFOR: Armed Civilians:

-position of armed civilians in northern village adjusted.

-player assets confirmed functional and accessible following Command & Conquer: ARMA III Lives mod update.

-range of action to speak to Zubin Arkardi set to 4 meters.

-range of action to access laptop and Seth’s briefing set to 3 meters.

-Zubkin Arkardi briefing adjusted.

-Zulu command team set to remain standing.

Scenario:

-title changed from “The Opening Moves” to “Certain Elements.” Opening text, briefing, and Zulu Arkardi’s closing victory speech changed accordingly.


BLUFOR: Global Defense Initiative:

-patrols now incorporate delays at specific waypoints.

-command group in Tmassah headquarters building has had their ability to take cover, stance, and “doStop this” entries adjusted.


INFOR: Tmassah Militia:

-some militia patrols will now stop and hold at each waypoint for anywhere between 30-60 seconds.

-some groups have had their ability to take cover, stance, and “doStop this” entries adjusted. Some automatic riflemen and/or leader entities have had their pathing ability cut to keep at least those entities in place in elevated structures.


INFOR: Armed and Unarmed Civilians:

-to avoid confusion with issuing orders or score screens, all entities representing unarmed civilians have been replaced with their actual CIVFOR unarmed civilian variants, then added to INFOR manually.

-some civilian groups condensed based on position in proximity to nearby civilian entities.

-some civilian entities have had their “doStop this” entries removed to allow them to move more freely.

-all trenches utilized by soldiers for personal defense have had simulation enabled and can take damage.

-ranks of soldiers checked, corrected, and verified.


INFOR: Tmassah Militia:

-ranks of soldiers checked, corrected, and verified.

-ammunition crates in medical tent and ammo dump outpost consolidated into single crate. Position of M-16A2 rifles adjusted on account of attempts at replacing magazines in the rifles causing the weapons to disappear.

-M18 Smoke (Green) grenades added to all ammo crates throughout the area.

-M9 and Makarov PM ammunition added to Tmassah village ammo crate. Position of second ammo crate adjusted after the crate was found to be floating off the ground. M67 Frag Grenades added to second ammo crate.

-patches checked and ensured functional on NPC soldiers.


INFOR: Tmassah Militia:

-guerrillas skill level reduced from 35% to 30%. Fleeing coefficient increasing from 65% to 70%.

-some militia personnel inside structures have had their ability to take cover disabled to prevent them from going prone when inside a building.
