Update: 15 Aug, 2019 @ 6:42am

Update: 25 Jun, 2019 @ 7:15pm

All AT guns removed from the map. No factional weapons in base areas. Some (not many) factional weapons at capture points, Allied/Soviet weapons east of the Tigris, German weapons west.

Update: 6 May, 2019 @ 6:57pm

Swapped out the main bridge and adjusted the width of the Tigris there. A pity, the vehicle bridges now all look the same but they work if or when repaired from a destroyed state...

Update: 6 May, 2019 @ 5:14pm

Swapped out the bridges but kept the main bridge in a different style.

Swapping the bridges meant adjusting the river banks for the shorter spans.

Update: 6 May, 2019 @ 2:44pm

Added more details among the tight city blocks

Update: 5 May, 2019 @ 1:05am

Added some details and miscellaneous accoutrements;

Since swelling the Tigris needed to adjust the river banks, added bushes, reeds and such around the small lake/dam, placed fuel barrel stacks, munitions and more gas tanks (because they are always fun), placed some random bushes over the map area.

Fixed pathing blocks at various points.

Update: 4 May, 2019 @ 4:42am

Rail bridge replaced

Update: 3 May, 2019 @ 6:19pm

2 Soviet 152s and 2 German 105s added. These howitzers reach to opposing side of the river in most areas for the Battleground Europe tuning pack.

If in the 'fantasy' vanilla experience of the game with ludicrously short ranges the battle is bogged down at the various bridges I suggest building arty closer the river there. This is not the only map with bridge chokepoints although there are several bridge crossings here so if there is a stalemate at these crossing different tactics need to be used.

Update: 3 May, 2019 @ 12:55am

Replaced the rail bridge with one that should work properly...

Increased the water level of the Tigris to give it a more swollen appearance.

Update: 1 May, 2019 @ 10:57pm

Note; The World Builder software does not include two things that are critical for middle eastern maps; mosques and a variety of buildings that are flat roofed without chimneys.
