  • Added Idle to Combat animations to various sentinels
  • Redid all materials for all sentinels to be like Brushed Metal
  • Added "Melee" ability to 343 Guilty Spark
    -Applies pushback to NPCs or players that try to get in close range
  • Added Enforcer melee ability for Vehicles (Very experimental, so there might be errors. Mostly works with Vanilla and Simphys vehicles)
  • Improved Accuracy/Tightness of Enforcer bolts
  • Fixed and redid hitboxes for all sentinels
    -...Which means the Enforcer hitbox is finally fixed!
  • Added ragdolls and jiggly limbs for most sentinels
  • Added attachments for all sentinels (helps placement of firing positions and sprite lights)
  • Added dismemberment for a majority of sentinels!
    -Aggressors
    -Head: Early kill
    -Legs and arms: No effect
    -Gun: Disarm and weapon drop
    -Constructors (and similiar models)
    -Head:Early Kill
    -Enforcer
    -Left and Right Head:Remove shield for respective side + accuracy penalty
    -Left and Right Arms:Remove ability to shoot from respective arm and weapon drop
    -Left and Right Thrusters:Added speed penalty, Inability to Melee.
    -Left and Right rocket pods:Remove ability to shoot from respective rocket pod and weapon drop
    -Middle Eye:Accuracy penalty
    -Special conditions:Removing both thrusters results in early kill. Removing all 3 eyes results in an early kill.

  • New sprite lights added! Much improvement to be made in the future on this, as they aren't actually attached on some of the older sentinels. Enforcers have less lights than they should for now.
  • Added impact sounds to Sentinel Beams
  • Tuning of various Particle FX
  • Better fixed firing position of beams on sentinels
  • (could still be happening) Attempted to fix sentinels with Shield Boost (the shields spawned from Shield Protectors) dying from high-damage instances even if they had the health to withstand it
  • Fixed Shield Break FX not playing/playing at the wrong locations
  • Renamed some of the death variations in the menu
  • Fixed Weapon Malfunction not properly working

  • Fixed up and Readded following. Press E on a sentinel to make them hover in weapon range of you (Still experimental)
  • Added better support for controlling sentinels
  • Added H2 Needle Weapon
  • Added H2 Rocket Weapon
  • Added HW Beam Weapon
  • Added HW Stasis Weapon
  • Fixed Super Sentinel Stasis weapon (in relation to the weapon and NPC)
    -More reliably stops enemies from ranged, melee, and leap attacks (with exception to some NPCs)
    -Freezes NPCs, Entities, flying rockets, etc
    -Freezes Nextbots, VJ SNPCs, and others (hopefully all)
  • Added weapon drops to all appropriate sentinels
    -(Beware that Enforcers now drop a plethora of weapons when they die, potentially making NPCs like the flood a lot more dangerous!)
  • Fixed H2 Enfocer Shield not blocking certain projectiles
  • Fixed sentinel beams stopping at a certain point after following a set distance
  • Changed Stasis field persists for duration of effect
  • Upped beam tick rate by more than double
  • Fixed bug causing Allied NPCs to target allied sentinels spawned randomly

  • Sentinels now slice their beams across their target, and no longer track. They now predict where their targets will be as they slice their beams across it, giving their foe time to dodge it
    -This might sound familiar, as it kinda exists in a sense, but not well enough. They sliced their beams across targets before this patch in a random direction, and they still tracked their beams around their targets. This new system uses predicted positions, giving you and others time to dodge their beams. Plus it looks WAY better and more accurate to Halo.
  • Sentinels no longer beam targets above them
  • Added decals to laser FX
  • H3 Aggressors now have 4k Textures!
  • H2 Sentinel Enforcers now have 4k Textures!
  • Fixed Illumination texture on H2 Sentinel Enforcers
  • H2 Constructors/Aggressors now have 4k Textures and lights!
  • Fixed broken bump maps on H3 Auto Turrets
  • H3 Auto Turrets now have 4k Textures!
  • H3 Guilty Spark now has 4k Textures!
  • H3 Sentinel Beam now has 4k Textures!
  • H3 Sentinel Emitter now has 4k Textures and lights!
  • Added specular maps to all sentinels (Except H2 and H1 Aggressors)
  • Improved material on mostly all sentinels
  • Improved Shield FX on non-Aggressor sentinels (that have them)
  • Adjusted and fixed colors on SW049 Protectors
  • Fixed firing position on SW049 Protectors
  • Darkened colors on Assembler to better differentiate from Constructors
  • Fixed certain sentinels dropping the wrong sentinel beams or dropping beams at all
  • Fixed 343GS not dying correctly
  • Lowered 343GS Average height above target

Thanks to all who gave me advice on how to update the textures, materials, and such!

  • Removed entities from spawnmenu that weren't meant to be spawned by hand (Gibs, Bullets, Emitter)
    - The emitter is meant to be spawned via the "Halo Sentinel Emitter" Stool under the "DrVrej" tab
  • Removed additional old references to entities that have since been renamed (Caused NULL entity errors most of the time)
    -This usually only effects people who didn't tinker with settings at all.
    -You might need to go into your "Halo Sentinel Emitter" Stool settings and just set the spawn type to something that isn't "npc_vj_sent_h3sentinel" and hit "Update Constructors' Emitters"
  • Upped Sentinel Constructor's Construct range by 50% to account for more strict spawning locations
