EXTRA PATCH 2:
After a week of testing some things out, these are the final changes that i bring you for this general 1.6 updated:

-Fixed a bug where DSpecial did not correctly updated visually on the air
-1 new taunt message added

DASH ATTACK
I felt that dash attack was too laggy and way too situational, so these are the new changes:
Launch angle of last hitbox increased by 5°
Endlag reduced from 16 to 15 frames
Base Knockback decreased from 6.5 -> 6.25
Knockback grow increased from 0.5 -> 0.55

NSPECIAL: Suplex combo was too inconsistent last patch, so these are the new changes:
-Size of the proyectile hitbox decreased 64 -> 60
-New soundeffect added to the beginning of the move, to better alert the enemy of the proyectile.
-Hitboxes now have angle flipper 9 instead of 4, this makes the cancel into the suplex a lot more consistent!
-To ensure that this new angle flipper doesnt produce unfair offstage spikes:
Base knockback has been reduced. 4 -> 3.5
-The make the suplex combo even more consistent, Proyectile hitboxes are now untechable and produce no bounce.

I think that with these changes, Nspecial is a lot more reliable at close to mid range
while still giving the oponents counter play options at long range.

NAIR:
Battery cost reverted to 4 from 5, i felt that the previous value drained the meter way to quickly.
Active hitboxes now increase the players Air friction from 0.03 to 0.06, limiting his movement during the attack.
Landing lag has been reverted from 9 to 10.

THE OVERHAUL UPDATE

Hey! It's been a while eh? Today i bring what has become my favorite update to make!
The update is divided in 3 sections:

1) - SFX OVERHAUL!

-Every move now has in improved Hit SFX straight from the No More Heroes Games
-New soudeffects have been added for Special Interactions (Overcharge, Discharge, Charge Start, Strong Charg Start, Special moves, etc)

-The Star of this updates is the new VOICE MODE: Triggered by Holding Taunt during the intro animation.
-Every move gains a new Voice Line straight from the No More Heroes Games
-Voice mode also gives Travis Walljump, Hurt, Death and Respawn Overcharge and Discharge Voicelines
-A good bunch of Taunt messages have a corresponding voice line. The ones without it won't appear during Voice Mode.


2) GAMEPLAY TWEEKS
-Uair, Utilt, Dtilt have slightly more base Knockback but less KnockBack Grow. More Consistent Combo Tools
-FIXES TO OVERCHARGE AND DISCHARGE (Regarding activation an duration)
-Various minor hitbox improvements, to eliminate instances of moves wiffing when they appeared to hit.
-4 new Taunt messages! Some old Taunt messages have been updated
-STRONG ATTACKS CAN NOW GO OFF LEDGE WHILE SIDE STEPPING (from frame 5 of charging onwards)
-The Knockback of many No Battery hitboxes has been adjusted to increase combo potencial.
-Runes have been updated to make them more distinct and varied.

-JUMP HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS
jump_speed = 12.75 -> 12.25;
djump_speed = 12.5 -> 12;
short hop speed = 8 -> 7.75;

-MOVE OVERHAULS: This update brings mayor changes to a bunch of moves.

NSpecial:
-Startup increased 16-> 17
-Travis has a little more time to input the suplex during the return hit (about 3 more frames)
-New Feature: OFF LEDGE GRAB, normally Travis cant go offledge while in the middle of FSpecial Tiger Suplex. Now, Travis can get off ledge when the projectile is cancelled into the suplex.
-Fixed a bug where the Beam Katana proyectile disappeared for a couple of Frames

FSpecial:
Endlag reduced 20 -> 18 frames after performing suplex. Easier followups
Activator Hitbox size increased 30 -> 34
The activator hitbox now last way longer: until Travis stands up from the faceplant. However hitting the hitbox late wont trigger the suplex. This new late hitbox sends straight up can be followed up with a tilt.
-Kirby version of this move has been updated accordingly

USpecial: Knockback rework!
-Endlag reduced 20 -> 18 frames
-The Traveling Up Hitbox of USpecial no longer has set knockback:
Knockback starts a 11.5 at the very beginning of the move and decreases with time. This makes the falling down hitbox connect way more consistently !
-The move now reliably brings the oponent down with Travis - DI Following is required
-The First frames of the move can still kill up the top! It just need to conect as quickly as possible.
-The Move now limits the max fall speed during startup 11->9.5. To help with deep recoveries.

Nair Rework: COMPLETE NAIR OVERHAUL
-Nair now consist of only one spin instead of Three, there are still however 3 hitboxes in total.
-Move has a shorter duration (16->10 active frames)
-Move no longer uses extra hitpause for any hitbox. It has overall less hitpause.
-Battery cost is up: 4->5
-Startup frames increased: 9->10 frames
-Endlag frames increased: 12->14 frames
-Final Hit now gives the enemy 1.4 SDI and Drift multipliers
-Move now gives a 0.95 hitstun multiplier to the enemy, allowing him to act out of the move earlier.
-The first 2 hits only give the oponent 1.2 SDI and Drift multipliers
-The Move no longer uses custom gravity, Instead, it now limits the max fall speed during its active hitboxes 11->8.
-There are new outside hitboxes that use angle flipper 9, this makes the move connect more consistently
-Landing lag slightly reduced 10->9 frames

Uair:
Landing lag reduced 10->8
Vertical range of the second hitbox increased.

Taunt Attack: MALFUNCTION
-Triggered by pressing taunt while starting DSpecial.
-Sakamoto3´s idea has been implemented: Manual Overcharge.
You need to spend a full meter to earn a manual Overcharged State!
Getting hit while the Katana is malfunctioning triggers Discharge instead.
-The Move is overall Lagier to compensate this new activation but has less endlag to help you take advantage of your Overcharge.
-If the oponent parries the Hitbox, Overcharge State wont trigger.

DTILT -> Endlag 16->14

3) BLACK OUTLINE?

So, giving Travis a full black outline is kinda tricky due to the hair and beam katana having some really thin parts, so it has only been added to the main body. Still, its definetly a visual improvement!

The PICKED Update

This small update contains the following tweaks
-Updated Result Screen art
-Updated Transition indicator art
-NSpecial projectile now has Angle Flipper 4, this results on the special combo interaction being way more consistent at close range!
-NSpecial projectile now does a little less knockback
-NSpecial projectile is now Unbashable by Ori

And the big thing is the Travis is now part of the Adam's Pick list!

Quick Update:

3 new taunt messages added!
2 old taunt messages have received an overhaul.
Custom color costumes have been sligthly modifed.
Portrait tweaked
Fixed a bug where the parry animation was offset by 1 pixel
Fixed a bug where the first hit of nair had a larger than expected SDI multiplier.

A Quick silly little update

Hitting the taunt attack after spending close to full battery on it now grants Travis instant Overcharge

Quick Fix / Polish update:
No battery hitboxes now do 0.7 the hitstun multiplier, down from 0.75.
Angle Flipper removed from Bair
DI and drift multiplier for Nair is now 1.4 to make it easier for the enemy to avoid nair chains.
Fixed a bug for the Extra range NSpecial Rune where the katana appeared inside the ground.
1 more taunt message Added

A small improvements update:
Whats this, a quick update?
Well i got a good chunck of feedback during the past 2 days and i decided to implement them:

Theres now a new Weaker hitbox on the last part of Ustrong: Overall Range increased.
The Top Hitbox of Jab, the one closest to the body, now ony hits grounded oponents.
Uair Top hitbox now has slightly bigger height.
Max_jump_hsp is now 5, down from 5.5. It no longer gets instant max speed from jumping,
Jump_change is 3.5, up from 3. His double jump now moves slightly faster horizontally.
Many SFX have been improved.
The aditional code of Rune Support Buddy has been added.

General No Battery Hitbox adjustments:
No battery hitboxes now do 0.75 the hitstun instead of 0.5, this will prevent some moves to be negative on hit.
Damage of all battery hitboxes has been adjusted acordingly.

NSpecial to Fspecial interaction improved:
Hitbox Lifetime and size have been adjusted.
The projectile now has a defined circular hitbox, it also spawns a little farther away from Travis.
The Indicador should now ONLY appear if the playing performing NSpecial.

Sprite/ Animation improvements: Katana Sprite movements are now more fluid for the following animations:
Double Jump
Wall Jump
Uspecial
Dair
DStrong
UStrong
Nair

Nair Improvements:
Nair Hurtbox is now circle thought the active time: This makes the move less disjointed.
Nair hitboxes now give the oponent a 1.25 SDI and 1.25 Drift multiplier to make the move easier to escape.

THE THANK YOU UPDATE:
No really, thanks to all of you who have supported my character. From the bottom of my heart.
My endeavors of trying to make Travis a legal character in the upcoming Rivals of Aether Extended Workshop Online Tournament sadly did not pay off.
Well i shouldnt say that, Travis is definetly a much better character now thanks to their feedback.
But the reality is as follows, during the past... basically 2 months Travis has recieved multiple balance patches (mostly nerfs) due to this goal of mine to have him legal.
I'm truly thankful that you guys kept supporting me despite these constant nerfs.

I hope my character brought you fun times, that was and should have been always my true goal.
I also hope this adaptation of Travis Touchdown was good enough for you guys; i cant help feeling that,
in the end i didnt really do the character justice. But i digress.
If anyone else wants to try adapting Travis to the world of Rivals of Aether, you have my blessing! LOL
(It's a symbolic blessing cause you know, i dont own the character)

.....So what even is on this "final" big patch?

Part 1 : DAILY META FEEDBACK - Quality of Life Adjustments

The final Sandbert values have been located an promptly destroyed.
gravity_speed is now 0.6 down from 0.65.
max_fall s now 11 down from 13.
fast_fall is now 14 down from 16.
These gravity changes require the following changes in jump heights in order to mantain Travis current movement consistent.
jump speed -> 13 -> 12.75
djump_speed -> 12.5 -> 12.25
Uspecial values have also been adjusted


Part 2: CHANGES FROM ME TO YOU

Dair endlag frames decreased, 20 ->18: This move was so stupidly laggy.
Dattack startup frames decreased 14 -> 12: This was nerfed into the ground for the sake of "balance"
Aerial FSpecial now covers a greater horizontal distance 16-> 18: Better horizontal recovery
Aerial FSpecial has slightly less startup and endlag -> 18 -> 16 : Quicker suplex
Grounded FSpecial has slighlty less startup and endlag -> 24 -> 22 : Quicker Suplex to use while in neutral.


So... what else could come later and when?
-New taunt messages
-New color skins
-Bug fixes
-And maybe perhaps some surprises.

These ideas can and WILL still happen. Eventually.
The launch of No More Heroes 3 will definetly bring more quotes and outfit opportunites. So expect a Travis update when that happens.
Any mayor bug that is reported will inmediatly be fixed in an emergency patch.
And finally... if our boy Travis manages to enter the world of Smash...expect a patch adressing that too.
