House Feature Updates:
The Trophy Room display cases now have six auto-placement locations for any item type. This feature is accessable by clicking on the front of the displaycase. Note: while I've made every effort to have most items display nicely, not all items will be display nicely nor will all items fit comforably within the bounds of the display table box.

The caves beneath Dragonborn Cottage now have numerous ore-mining locations (mostly iron and some ebony).

The Merchant's Steed circlet now opens the storage portal when equiped rather than when picked up.

Dragonborn Cottage's customisable shrine now has three new unique shrine options:
1) a shrine to Dwemer Science that gives a boost to the player's smithing skill
2) a shrine to Azura that gives the player the ability to cast spells at no cost for an hour during dusk (5-6pm) and dawn (5-6am)
3) a shrine to Y'ffre that boosts the player's archery and sneaking skills but only while in the wild (ie: not in towns, cities, interior spaces or similar developed locations)

House for a Hero Quest Updates:
The House for a Hero quest has been rebuilt to operate more smoothly and logically and fit more comfortably with the later Bone Collectors quest.

The character level requirement for the House for a Hero quest to start has now been reduced to 25 so, assuming you are playing at the standard 1:20 Skyrim game world time speed and you continue to play while the house is built rather than just using the wait function, your character should be around level 30 by the time the house is built and the courier hands you the deed. This is in line with about how long it takes to save up enough money to purchase Proudspire Manor in Solitude and purchase all the room fixures and fittings without major meta gaming or cheating.

All references to the Jarl and jarl's steward in Whiterun have now been updated so they will display the correct encumbant Jarl and steward whether the player has exiled Jarl Bulgruff in main civil war questline or not.

The cultist minion NPCs now level with the player and each have a randomised look within a custom Alduin Cult theme.

The post-House for a Hero quest random bandit NPCs now only spawn if the player choses a repair option other than the doorway to the mines and only if the mine is called on as a location by a random radiant quest.

Repair Options Updates:
The trophy room repair options quest has been improved and an option to purchase some bookshelves for the trophy room has been added.

Loreas' Vault Updates:
The Loreas' Vault display daises now operate in a more stable fashion.

Dragon Claws should now remain on the claw display daises rather than slowly slipping off over time.

The vault guardian will no longer attack the player.

Other Updates:
The Bone Collector quest priestess and seer are now wearing some new custom clothing items with some new learnable enchantments.

There have also been a number of minor cosmetic updates like covering gaps in rocks.

NEW QUESTS ADDED:
The Bone Collectors:
This quest is a continuation of the Alduin Cult plot begun in the main 'House for a Hero' quest. It takes the player on a journey into a series of new Dwemer dungeons and a new exterior world-space hidden away in the far western ranges of the Reach.
Quest Trigger: starts automatically about three game days after you finish the 'House for a Hero' quest. You'll have a courier deliver you a letter from mysterious 'friend'.

Path of the Alchemist:
This is a side quest triggered while exploring the new exterior world-space during 'The Bone Collectors' that takes the player into a large cave system and though a series of alchemy and hunting themed puzzles and combat challenges as the player seeks a lost treasure trove that includes a rather unique enchanted set of dragonscale armour and a magic ring that teleports the player to a personal vault containing some useful player features and an array of extra display and storage facilities for the player's most prized and dangerous possessions.
Quest Trigger: starts when you search one of the cultists during The Bone Collectors.

PLAYER HOUSE UPDATES:
There have been one or two minor improvements and fixes made to the main player-house part of this mod including a glitch fix and improvement for the chopping block in the forge and proper book placement added in various bookshelves and lecterns around the house.

Update: 11 Nov, 2013 @ 9:15am

This version of Dragonborn Cottage includes all the features of 3.5 plus:

1) SPOUSE SUPPORT: If you get married or already have a spouse, you will see Dragonborn Cottage as a possible location to move your spouse to. Once your spouse has moved into Dragonborn cottage, they will inhabit the main house and forge basement and even while away some of the evening with the locals over in the Bannered Mare before retiring to your double bed in the upstairs master bedroom. Regardless of their location, they will also always provide you with merchant services. If they were previously a merchant, they will retain that traid (ie: a smith will still be a smith merchant), otherwise they will be a general pawn broker merchant similar to Belethor.

2) TROPHY ROOM WALL REPAIR: Once you have completed the small quest to retrieve the stolen trophy from your trophy room, you will now be granted the option to get the damaged wall repaired. Keep an eye out for a letter of condolence.

3) TROPHIES YOU BUILD: In this version, the trophies are not present in the trophy room when you take ownership. You will need to gather and craft various items to build them yourself.

4) DOKHAJA MOVES IN: In this version, Dokhaja the merchant now has a more dynamic AI, spending some time in the house for meals and sleep, taking ownership of the spare bedroom by the side door. You will also find him socialising with the other citizens of Whiterun over in the Bannered bare. But don't fret, even though he may have a few drinks now and then, he is always ready to trade should you need his merchant services.

5) HANDY JEWELERY: In addition to the Shadow Blade Ring and other items included in version 3.5. In version 4 you will also be able to purchase the matching Shadow Bow Necklace to boost stealth bow attacks as well as Ysgramor's Heart, a necklace that boost two-handed weapon attacks while enhancing health and stamina regeneration, and The Elemental Shield, a ring that boost shield bashing while fortiying the shield bearer against elemental attacks. There is also a handy ring of water walking included. All these new items are available for purchase from Dokhaja.

6) CIRCLET RETURN: Should you ever lose The Merchant's Steed or accidently drop it into it's own storage portal, all you need do is open the jewelery strong box located on the night stand in your master bedroom and the circlet will be teleported back into your posession.

7) HANDY FORGE: In this version, you never need an to be carrying a woodcutter's axe to be able to use the chopping block in the basement and you gain a boost of 20 points to your Smithing skill while using the bench or grind stone to improve weapons or armour in the forge area.

8) MINI BREWERY: You may also note the inclusion of a small wall off drink barrels next to the forge dining area. The three large barrels on the bottom do not reset and are intended for storing all your favourite beverages while the two smaller barrels on top of the bar do reset to enable a steady supply of mead and wine. Sorry, those stupid bees and their stupid honey prevented me from adding beer.
