Scenario:

-environment renamed from “Virtual Reality Training Environment” to “Virtual Reality Sandbox.”

-intro text delayed from 5 to 20 seconds.

-respawn counter now hidden.

-all ‘living’ objects and assets, including players, now considered editable objects

-all personnel are now considered medics, engineers, explosives specialists, and UAV hackers for the purposes for full access to all training elements.

-garbage cleanup instituted on all infantry to execute on a limit of 5 every ten seconds; vehicle cleanup will apply to vehicles that cannot respawn at a limit of 5 wrecks every ten seconds.

-briefing updated.


Command Station:

-third laptop added. Time change function transferred to this laptop.

-if ACE3 is not detected, action to activate ACE Arsenal will be removed from Control Station laptop.


Antitank and Demo:

-“Demo Range” command on grenade range laptop redesignated “Grenade Range.”


Armor Range:

-respawn and relocator deployment points moved.

-active Hatchback and truck vehicles on Concourse 2 replaced with wrecks.

Scenario:

Map:

-all lights can now be shot out and destroyed, and likewise repaired from the control laptops in their respective stations

-all “you are here” screens adjusted to account for new map.


Control Station:

-flag added as a ‘weather check’ object.


Assault Course:

-ready area respawn position and relocator position adjusted.


Antitank and Demo Range:

-due to decommissioning the Compound Assault Range, Antitank and Demo Range has been expanded and reorganized.

-launcher firing range has been extended and orientation has been adjusted.

-additional supply boxes added.


Compound Assault Range:

-range has been decommissioned due to perceived lack of use. Assets redeployed to Master Assault Course.


MOUT: Urban Range:

-guard tower has been removed.

-both single-room military cargo offices have been relocated.

-to provide an authentic training environment to simulate an assault on a multi-story structure, a multi-story office tower has been installed.

-additional targets and supply boxes added.


First Aid:

-position of east entrance and arsenal boxes adjusted.


Armor Range:
Armor Concourse 2:

-additional multi-story structure and targets added.

-light post near guard shack now illuminates properly.


Master Assault Course:

-course redesigned to simulate an attack on a fortified military compound.

-perimeter size increased.

-Compound Assault Course assets moved to the Master Assault Course.

-respawn position relocated and shrunk down in size.

Scenario:

-initialization scripts will launch a check to see if ACE is active. If ACE is activated when the scenario is launched, the Training Hospital patient creation system will activate and ACE Arsenal will then become available at the supply boxes. Otherwise, a warning notice will display indicating that ACE is not armed. This is done for convenience and to negate forcing each individual player to activate the ACE system at a laptop in the Control Station. This manual control has been left in place.

-all player entities and vehicles on the Armor Range are now accessible as editable objects for Zeus to heal, teleport, and otherwise interact with should they require assistance or rearmament.

-all data link transmission, receiving, and broadcasting options have been enabled for Zeus/Scenario Control and personnel.

-all soldier squads have been redesignated with more generic “Alpha” prefixes rather than labeling them as “Squads” and “Sections.”

-target reset scripts now incorporate entries to fully repair pop-up targets.

-all target removal actions have been copied to local laptops at each of the ranges. The scripts now incorporate entries which will attempt to remove the actions from the laptops when the action to remove targets is executed from either laptop. Note: While all actions properly remove the targets, most actions themselves remain available on the laptops.

-action names corrected to adhere to naming convention.

-briefing corrected. Map markers adjusted based on changing position of assets.


Arms Range:

-pop-up target types reverted back to those with accuracy boards.


Control Station:

-Control 1 laptop background adjusted to custom image.

-accessibility distance on permanent ACE Arsenal activation entry on supply box reduced from 5 to 2.

-additional monitors and screens added to station. These screens may eventually contain instructions for improved scenario control.


Assault Course:

-sandbag line on Assault Course 2 expanded. Endpoint objects removed. Additional targets added. Spotlight repositioned to a position atop the H-barrier entrance.


Armor Range:

-an action allowing for the removal of all usable vehicles and laptops with mounting pedestal blocks has been created.

-control laptop position adjusted to a location that is less likely to interfere with training.

-notifications of vehicle respawns disabled.

-concrete barriers added to prevent moving armored vehicles from colliding with stationary vehicles on the firing range and likewise curtail abuse by disruptive players.

-Relocator deployment point moved.

-all lights and lamps have had simulation restored to restore their functionality.

Map:

-all targets with accuracy markers have been replaced with those without accuracy markers. Diversity of pop-up targets expanded.

-position of targets inside most structures adjusted to resolve a ‘floating’ appearance.


Arms Range:

-oval pop-up targets replaced with traditional target boards.


Assault Course 1:

-additional VR cover blocks added.


Compound Assault Course:

-position of target in building stairwells adjusted to avoid players getting stuck in the doorway.


Armor Range:

-additional vehicle blockade hedgehog added to entrance.

-Relocator teleporter endpoint position adjusted.

-control laptop, map board, associated map markers’ positions adjusted.

-hard arrow signs directing movement onto the Armor Concourse 1 replaced by more distinctly visible arrow markers on the ground.

-position of some targets adjusted to avoid players getting stuck inside hallways.

-pop-up targets are now configured to take damage.


CQB Killhouse:

-some pop-up targets were not configured to take damage. This has now been addressed.

Map:

-variety of pop-up targets in some areas increasingly varied.

-all scripts designed to reset major ranges and remove pop-up targets now come with visual text alerts indicating the ranges have been reset or targets have been removed.


Assault Courses:

-target-and-cover demonstration area and close-quarter practice area in Assault Course Staging Area were found to be largely unused and have been revolutionized.


CQB Range:

-the former Assault Course Staging Area target penetration and close-quarter practice area have been converted into a CQB Killhouse by popular request. All pop-up targets in this area have had their accuracy paper markings removed. Some hostage target boards have been scattered throughout the range. Scenario Control may also remove these targets from the Control Station laptops. Concrete walls have been installed to prevent penetration by small arms. However, grenade blasts will still knock targets down through the walls.

Control Station:

-a laptop inside the Control Station is set to activate the ACE Arsenal when engaged. This script now incorporates designating all medical buildings as ACE medical facilities and also controls adding the actions allowing for the creation of patients at the data terminals in the Training Hospital. These actions have otherwise been removed from the boxes by default.
