Had a bug report that the fire in the bench was all pixelated and looked horrible, it is a very quick patch sorry for the update but that needed fixing to keep the clean look of the workbench

Collision of The damned tree has been reduced so you will no longer clip on it
Superior workbench no longer has the creepy sound to it, it travels very far and i cant seem to reduce it so its only in the immediate vacinity, I will try and solve this issue in the next few updates but it is a real head scratcher.

Settite stave will now cause poison and not sunder armour.

Weapons that cause bleed up to a max stack of 20 is no more, instead I have created my own Bp for a custom bleed which will show as Laceration, this can be applied with light or heavy attacks and will only stack to 5 (this is being tested this may be increased to 8 or 10 in the future but as the laceration can be given with light or heavy attacks it will increase very fast for your enemy this is why it is set to 5 for now though the weapons base asset will still cause bleed if it does so int he vanilla game already like daggers and katanas)
Greataxe of poison now delivers a sinister cut and will show as "Toxic wound" poisoning your enemy

I have added 2 new particle effects one to the greataxe of poison and the other to the champions greatsword, please be aware that I am more of a 3D asset modeller and I am still learning about particle effects and how to implement them successfully, so these are a way for me to test them ingame to see how they can be adjusted, if they do not show I apologise for that in advance and when I finally crack this we will have some cool looking effects on some of the weapons

---How to craft---

The weapons are crafted from 2 different workbenches (level dependant)

The Darkness within workbench now crafts weapons ranging from level 100-200
The Summoner workbench will allow you to craft weapons from 200-300

You will require a new star metal bar, one infused with Demon blood, crafted in the Firebowl Cauldron.

Two new items you will see are the Blood ritual coin and the Shard of corruption, these are designed to help admins create boss rewards and give rewards for players after the later stage of the game, Admins can spawn these two items to give to people after completeing tests, Arena tournaments etc etc, they can also use Pippi kits and give them to an NPC to drop after death, therefore extending the later stage of the game be that in a pvp-pve or rp server.

After 3 HOURS of messing around the jade huntress My first ever made bow is now working in the devkit and now coming to you in this mod update!

The Tridents will now dehydrate your enemy with their new Bp so enjoy that!

Hope you're all excited about these new changes to the mod and how this will increase the scope of gametime after the later game and I hope this will also extend more rp for you.

Darkness Within has now extended to an endgame weapons state, this means that now rather than being in-line with basegame legendary weapons, these now are greater in terms of weapon damage and armour penetration, but their crafting requirements are more unique.
(please note you will need a mod that extends your level up to at least 250, unless the admins will spawn the weapons in for you)

Plenty of things have been reshuffled in the Data tables, all of the weapons have had their attack and ap damage increased depending on level, they all will give some kind of Buff to the player such as underwater breathing, corruption cleansing, str increase etc etc and Debuff to the players opponent, be that a more harsher bleed, corruption, poison etc.

I have made another Trident, the Trident of Atlantis, this grants underwater breathing and will inflict a bleed on your opponent, please remember you need to have the weapon equipt to recieve the underwater breathing buff, this will allow you to Breath Forever underwater, this goes for the Trident of the sea and will be placed on any future Tridents made.

I have been experimenting with particles, thanks to Hosav and Warrior J and their help, I have been able to put my first particle effect on a weapon, this is experimental (do not worry it works) Its more experimental for me as im still learning and want to see the review from those who use the THUNDER AND LIGHTNING dual wield sword and see what they think to it, there isnt a constant lightning loop or a static electricity effect, so for now the sword will make a thunderous crash as you draw the weapon. (please let me know what you think to this either in my discord or the comments on steam.

Decorations are still crafted in the Artisans workbench.
Some icons have been changed.

This is a hotfix for the last update.

For some unknown reason the new loreworkbench works in singleplayer and in the devkit but not in the server.
What iv done to solve this for now is MOVE ALL WEAPONS to the blacksmiths bench for crafting, just until i can figure this out as I cannot be updating too often, so this allows me to be able to test if the workbench does place between the updates when the workbench finally is worked out and can be placed and im happy it wont have a problem I will move all lore items back.

So for now please do not craft the Darkness Within workbench, use the blacksmiths bench for crafting your weapons, that lore workbench is only still in the game so i can test it does place between updates.

---NEW CONTENT----

Trident of the sea - A trident made of gold with two crystals on the spear handle glowing with the essense of the sea

Greataxe of the damned - A 2H axe and my first one iv made whoop! hope you enjoy this weapon as much as I loved designing it

Brazier with dyeable flame - My first brazier, thank you so much to @Chuda Ruri, creator of the amazing professions mod for sorting me out with the code needed to give you all the ability to dye the flame, hope you have fun with it, colours are red,green,blue,purple,orange,yellow,magenta and pink all you have to do is put one of the days in one of the slots and the flame will change to that colour.

Human Arbor - This is an asset I made, inspiration came from Senuas Sacrifice, love that game and I really wanted something like that to decorate my Pictish home and I hope you like it too!

----TEXTURE CHANGES----

Many weapons have had their textures revisited, as I learn more and more I will keep improving the weapon asset textures, the most noticeable change is to bloodlust, again the guard has been revisted but the blade was massive so bloodlust has now had a full makeover, the blade less thick and now black and ruined instead of a clean red, the runes are now red instead of green.

---Textures----

All weapons have had their textures redone, some weapons I have left cleaner than others based on their race, religion etc
I hope you enjoy the new textures on these weapons.

Some weapons have had their glow removed, others have had their emissions scaled down a lot, inspiration for that was how Funcom have used their emissions in their star metal weaponry, though not all have this, only a select few.

Icewall shield has also had its textures redone.

--- Weapon changes----

Crude desolation greatsword has had its old angled guard removed and iv made a new guard for this which suits its style better.
Crude desolation greatsword handle has been extended so you hand wont clip through the base of the blade

Honours call has had its black wrap removed, i was getting reports of the weapon vanishing, i believe this is due to the verticles count of the model, the wrap was incredibly detailed vert wise so i removed it, if this has solved the problem in the future i will make a new wrap for it which isnt so demanding

Executioners Harbinger's handle has been extended so you hand wont clip through the base of the blade.

Crude desolation 1h sword has had its handle changed so it runs smoother with the blade as one piece now.

Thunder and lightning is now a one handed sword, it didnt look right as a dual daggers, but do not worry a dual dagger version is in the works!

---New additions---

Lore workbench has been changed, there was nothing wrong with the old model, i just thought the mod could do with something that fits the style better, so i have changed the asset around, it should change without you losing it as the last model did so thats a good thing.

First placeable, The damned tree, this is my first placeable and works really well in the devkit, hopefully you will have fun placing this tree with skulls hanging from it around your base to create a darker atmosphere, and to warn people off.

New weapon - KUNAI throwing knife, vision little offhand throwing knife, bring out your inner ninja with this ;)
--- FUTURE UPDATES---

More lore weapons will be added in the future, I have currently been given more information on lore and what weapons were used, so its to the drawing board for me to brainstorm how these will look.

New placeable is in the works, a brazier of my own making but you will be able to change the fire colour from a radial menu :D :D :D

Thunder and Lightning would not craft, this has now been fixed and will give you the swords, also i have increased their strength and armour pen to that of the Daggers of Dagon

I realised i plugged a massive gap with the arrow i crafted, the arrow has now changed from black death to the shooting star arrow, it now has the crafting requirements of the star metal + witchfire powder, it will also glow, so now you dont need to carry light arrows with you, this will do both! so far they will glow blue as they fly through the air, but as they hit the surface they will go back to a white light, if you would rather them have a blue light on contact with a surface let me know :D

this is my first arrow, now you cannot drag this arrow on to the bow, it must be placed in your hotbar from there when you have your bow equipped press the number the arrow sits in and it will equip to that.

----Textures-----

So iv had quite a lot of feedback on the textures in game, so far I use basic texture nodes to get a desired result, though they are basic, the ICE WALL shield I made an actual real texture for and it shows in the quality, so i am going to go back to the drawing board on this, watch a ton of video tutorials and start to make real textures for these weapons, this will be a long process but this is my hobby and i want you all to get the benefits from it.

For now the weapons have been darkened and iv tried getting a more realistic look with what i can using the basic nodes until i get these individual textures.

3 new Assets added

Thunder and Lightning, Guardians of the pack - dual wield swords with wolf heads on the guards and a nice fiery glow running through the blade.

Ice Wall - My first shield, solid ice to protect the user ( mainly thinking northern clans here)

Black death arrow - high armour piercing arrow infused with black blood.


---- weapon stat changes-----

some weapons have had their stats changed after a revised look at some items in the data tables, for the better not worse!

zweilhander - durability increased from 0 - 6000 ( sorry about that! when you spend enough time looking at the table, it all begins to look the same haha, but it is fixed now)

next up will be some off hand weapons such as, a tomahawk, an off hand mace, if you can think of anything else you would like to see in the next update let me know and ill do what i can to get it in to the next update.

i will also be adding new pictures to the workshop with the new and updated models.
