Balance
  • Made the Time Stone increase trade value by 100%

Localisation
  • Added updated Chinese localisation
  • Fixed an issue with the time stone digsite’s localisation

Big Fixes
  • Fixed issue in debug events
  • Added “hide age” to soulborn traits (doesn’t make any difference, was just testing it)
  • Made the event leaders check the traits they should have (Synth, Psionic, Cybernetic, etc)

Final Pass
Main purpose of this update is to go back over all of the old events and code and improve the efficiency of the code. I’ve cut out over 2mb of code (which is a lot) and I've optimised many events so they fire more efficiently. Basically, everything is better but you won't notice any changes. This will also make the future mod i’m working on easier to use with this one. Also, I've updated the gauntlet to let you keep the stones by popular request.
Gauntlet Changes
  • Ruler death chance after using gauntlet is now based on the traits the ruler has.
  • Using the gauntlet no longer destroys any stones in most cases, but instead blocks the use of other snap options. For example, if you use the gauntlet to snap 50% of all life, no empire can use the gauntlet again during that playthrough to annihilate pops, but they could use the gauntlet to change ethics.
  • After you’ve used the gauntlet, other empires will receive a war goal to take all of your stones off of you.
  • You can now use the gauntlet to undo the default snap (like in the movie)
Balance
  • Time Stone buff - now gives +100% pop output, +100% job upkeep and +100% pop upkeep on the planet it’s used on. This means that the Time Stone is stronger, depending on what you build on the planet. E.G, you could use this to build a lot of alloys quickly, at the cost of very high mineral usage or create a lot of research and unity for a lot of consumer goods. From my testing it appears the best use of the Time Stone is on base resources, like food, minerals and energy as they don’t have any upkeep but it’ll be something that you’ll have to try out yourself
  • Nerfed Captain Marvel and Moonstone to make them more in line with other leaders
  • The Infinity Drive now has a +50% jump drive range to make it on par with the Psi-Jump drive and additionally buff the Space Stone
Bug Fixes
  • Fix localisation issue with Ultron Omega Edict
  • Fixed bug with stones not assigning correct flags when digsites completed
  • Prevented antimatter pylon from being built on special structures
  • Added “gives 10 favours” to stone trading menu tooltip
  • Made it so Hive Minds and Machine Empires will priorities Hive and Machine worlds over gaia worlds for the Reality Stone
  • Make inevitable snap option check the ruler’s gender 😅
  • Prevented Vormir discovery event firing after stone is unearth by a gestalt empire
  • Fixed a bug where the AI couldn’t use the Reality Stone and Time Stone

Nerd stuff for nerds
  • Organised localisation files into separate files rather than one master file
  • Streamlined nation destroyed and become subject events
  • Create unified event for removing stone modifiers if you not have the stone
  • Moved Soulborn deaths to mean time to happen (so they fire if you do have the stone as opposed to on demand)
  • Moved many on action events to triggered events
  • New Scripted triggers (List on the google docs changelog)
  • New Scripted effects(List on the google docs changelog)

The Leaders Update
New Events
  • If you have the Reality Stone and Antimatter Reactors, you can build an antimatter pylon on a planet and then use the Reality Stone to create Ecumenoplises
  • Empires that have the Space Stone can create a knock off Captain Marvel called Moonstone if they do not own Captain Marvel
  • Random leaders will become psionic whilst owning the Soul Stone every 7.5 to 15 years
  • Empires can use the Mind Stone to build Synthezoids if they have the appropriate techs (robotic works, droids, etc) every 10 years

Leader Changes
  • Changed Soulborns to use orange unbidden portraits instead of racial ones
  • Captain Marvel and Thor now become a random species within your empire as opposed to only your own species
  • Stone Origins will now spawn Captain Marvel and Thor if you have not disabled them in the menu

Balance
  • Nerfed the Mind stone again, it now gives +200% diplomatic weight, down from 400%
  • Mind Stone active effect gives +5 leader level cap as I was angry I could add this to individual leaders
  • The Infinity Drive tech is given after around 2 years, up from 1 year
  • Space Stone passive nerfed, now gives +10% evasion and -10% hyper jump time down from 20% and -15%

Accessibility
  • Options menu will open after adding the mod to new save game (will open on all saves made before this version)
  • Added edict to open the options menu
  • Added edict to open the cheat menu which is enabled and disabled via options menu
  • Only one instance of the options menu, cheat menu and stone trading menu can be open at the same time
  • The stone trading menu edict can be opened immediately after closing, you no longer need to wait for edict to run out
  • Added option to disable Moonstone and Ultron to the options menu

Bug fixes
  • Fixed a bug where half of the leader traits weren’t actually applying to leaders meaning Captain Marvel was much stronger than she should have been and Vision was basically useless
  • Fixed a bug where Soulborn could be elected as your leader and Captain Marvel, Thor and Vision couldn’t (Opposite of intended behaviour)
  • Soulborn trait is now orange like it’s supposed to be (forgot to copy over the graphic)
  • Fixed localisation issue with the Power Stone modifier lying to players
  • Fixed planets generated by this mod generating without districts
  • Fixed an issues where the Infinity Drive wasn’t allowed on Juggernauts
  • Stopped generating a new Vision species every time he spawns

Bug fixes
  • Fixed a bug where if an empire lost a stone whilst you were at war with them, you could create a second copy of the stone

AI
  • Base cost to trade stones is now 20000 energy credits, 500 Influence and 10 favours
  • AI will now trade stones with the player if they are in a federation with them and have +350 relations with the player.

New Features
  • Add a new Edict that when used will show you which empires have the infinity stones. From this menu you can trade stones with other players in multiplayer if you so wish. The AI will always reject trade requests.
  • Power Stone Bombardment stance now blows up planets when they get to 100% devastation, this is a nerf or a buff depending on how you play.

New Snap Options
  • Destroy the Stones - destroys the Infinity Stones, preventing them from respawning
  • Disarm the Galaxy - destroys all ships and defense stations not owned by you empire
  • The Greater Good - shifts all empires and pops to Egalitarianism
  • The End - Spawns a psionic entity with over 1 million fleet power and galaxy wide jump range
  • I am Inevitable - Makes your ruler immortal and creates an admiral of your ruler and gives them lots of bonuses to ruling your empire and commanding fleets
  • The AI also will choose to use different snap options if they somehow gain all 6 stones.

Balance
  • The Mind Stone now passively gives +5 envoys to reduce micromanagement and it’s active effect now gives +400% diplomatic weight as opposed to 500% and also gives a +100% envoy improve and harm relationship speed.
  • The Reality Stone can no longer create ecumenopolis but this will be readded later as part of an event chain.

Bug fixes
  • AI should no longer start with the Stone origins as apparently 0% chance to spawn doesn’t mean 0% chance.
    Captain Marvel, Thor and Vision should regain their leader traits after being elected, however, this hasn’t been tested.
  • AI can now actually use the Infinity Gauntlet as opposed to before where it pretended it could. The Gauntlet also cannot be used if you don’t have any stones to activate so you and the AI no longer waste 50 Influence to reset the stone cooldown.
