HOTFIX
Mostly clientside fixes.
  • Fixed laat Impulse keybinds not working
  • Added the ability for mission developers to edit laat doors/ramps via 3den editor attributes
  • Added alpha of green and red cabin lights for LAAT. Need to have Headlights on to activate.

MONTHLY UPDATE
General Housekeeping and Information
  • Clone wars era non-static objects will be slowly converted to the prefix `lsd_` for movement into separate mod.
  • Static props and another objects are being converted to the prefix `lsb_` and are going to be moved to Legion Battlefields
  • "Legion Studios Static Objects" category changed to "[Legion Core]"
  • Temporarily added "[Legion Battlefields]" category for static object being prepared to be moved to Legion Battlefields. They're properly set up so that classnames will not change

Uniforms and Infantry
  • Added "[LS] Outland Regions Security Force"
  • Added "Special Tactics" trooper (Trooper)
  • Added "Special Tactics Rucksack" backpack
  • Added "[LS] Coruscant Security Force"; will contain groups such as "Underworld Police", "Coruscant Guard", "Diplomatic Escort Group", "Senate Commandos", etc.
  • Added Senate Commando "Guardsman" to Eden and Zeus interface.
  • Added "The Pleased Nut" to Legion Studios Memefor. Has 2 variants, "Armed" and "Un-Armed". Uniform only at the moment.
  • Buffed Mandalorian Undersuit temporarily until mandalorain armor rework is complete. Roughly equivalent to Republic Commando armor.
  • Changed B2 Chassis HitPoints. Debuffed armor from 200 to 100. Added weakpoint to B2. B2 Custom weapon still in development.
  • Fixed BX Commando Secondary weapon weightpainting, added vest with reversed secondary proxy for Vibroblade compatibilty (Lightsabers and Force by Webknight)

Vehicles
  • Fixed reversed polygons on MTT Static object
  • Fixed RPT error of Duplicate hitpoints in mortar
  • Moved Alpha of the V-19 Torrent Fighter to base for more feedback. Be gentle.
  • Changed V-19 rotation values to be more responsive.

Static Props
  • Added Hardcell Interstellar Transport objects to the "Ship Parts" subcategory. They have full collision and can be used for immersion.
  • Moved "Screenshot Support" category from Public testing. Legion Tracers are now placeable.
  • Added planet hologram
  • Added hologram sector map sphere

HOTFIX
  • updated "SWLB_core", which was missed in the December update; this caused issues with keybinding and potentially issues with the terrain hologram.
  • "DC-15A Blaster Rifle [New]" model was updated. No more hole! Now has shadows!

Future Plans
With the future release of Galactic Civil War content, Legion will be splitting into several mods to become more accessible and space friendly.
For now class names will remain as they are, we're simply moving stuff around for greater accessibility

Legion Base - Stable will become Legion Core
  • "Legion: Core" - For those who like the scripting and core aspects of Legion, but want to avoid the rest of Legion content like the plague (because "Legion bad" not everyone wants to use our other content), "Legion: Core" will have the frameworks, essential content (i.e., impulsor, akimbo, weapon types/effect, dogfighting capital ship modding frameworks, shared era models, shared era sounds, etc.), and whatnot.
  • "Legion: Battlefields" - new mod to be released in the next few days with, you guessed it, sci-fi terrains and props, where all structures and non-essential props will eventually be moved to. It will have a dependency on Legion Core (for the scripts).
    *Tentative names*
  • "Legion: Fall of the Republic (Rising Storm? Intervention?)" - All TCW content will be moved to here
  • "Legion: Civil War (Insurrection? Dark Times?)" - GCW+ EU post-war content will be released here
  • "Legion: Forgotten Conflicts" - The *eventual* release of Old Republic Content (easily a 1+ years away)

Scripts
NEW FRAMEWORK
Added new framework to expand current weapon types and effects, starting with Stun ammo. Will be expanded in the next few months with EMP, Ion (temp vic disabling), and *more*.

Impulsor
  • Changed Impulsor handling to allow for modders to change speed, fuel drain, and be able to assign to any vehicle (i.e., ability to add LS impulsor to other mods vehicles) to learn more, read this guide[docs.google.com].
  • Updated to allow for "current pilot" to use impulsor (i.e., copilot will be able to use impulse if they are in control)
  • Fixed the "push upward" when using repulse at high speeds.

Vehicles
BARC Speeder
  • Updated Barc textures
  • Added in basic weapons
  • Added in Barc riding posture

TX-130 Saber
  • Reverted back overwritten change which debuffed armor
  • changed hit impacts and sounds

LAAT
  • changed hit geom rvmats so that dust effects wouldn't happen

Equipment
  • Fixed new "Republic" Backpacks (Expanded Storage Long Range, LR, Medic, Rocket,Medium, Heavy, Heavy Medic )
  • Fixed supply crates not spawning with any supplies

Weapons
  • Added beginings of weapon rework (added 4x of colored scopes and bipod to [New] DC-15a)
  • Added new stun ammo to the [New] DC-15A

  • Added Buoyancy LoD to BARC speeder so it goes zoom over water
  • Removed unfinished B2 droid which was accidentally included in release

  • TX-130 Fighter Tank - Minor engine sound tweaks

Armor/Uniforms
  • Added in hologram helmets + uniforms (Senate guard, Airborne, ARC, ARF [P1, P2], ATRT Driver, BARC, Desert, B1, BX)
  • Initial Release of B1 Simulation droid
  • Minor Rvmat/shadow shading tweak to Mandalorian undersuits

  • Enabled Hazard/Survival backpack [Needs new base textures - over a year old]

  • Fixed command post shadows
  • Fixed static addon tags which prevented hottles and stimboxes from displaying in Zeus

Scripting
  • initial realase of dynamic holographic terrain script [use at your own risk! still slightly buggy]
  • Preparation/groundwork for jump pack scripting
