  • Added additional localization for the Gunpowder Discovery event-chain.
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Fixed an issue with the final event in the GP Discovery chain scoping to the wrong character. Should display your Chancellor now.

Minor Update - 'v1.5'
MAY REQUIRE NEW SAVE

Changes to current Innovations may not appear until a new save is started, thank PDX for that!

ADDITIONS
  • Added the 'Gunnery Range' and it's chain of associated buildings to the game. You can now build these after unlocking the Handgonne and obtaining Tier 3 Castle/City/Church holdings.
  • Added the 'Gunpowder Discovery' event-chain which is a requirement to unlock the 'Handgonne'. You will be able to take the decision to embark on this discovery as soon as 1215 AD. There is still some localization to be done on the story but the event-chain works.
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Revisited and fixed all files to bring them up to par with CK3 1.2/1.2.1 and it's changes. You should now be able to use this mod with vanilla without issue.
  • Modified the decision cooldown periods from 5 years/1 year to 10 years each. Now you must take these decisions and decide to do so strategically or lose time on them.

Minor Update - 'v1.4'

New innovations introduced will not appear until a new save is started, thank PDX for that!

ADDITIONS
  • Added the Precursor to the 'Arquebus', the 'Handgonne', as an innovation you must acquire before unlocking the rest of the 'Arquebusier' type regiments.
  • Added 5 new, unique, regiments to the 'Arquebusier' type. Expanded 'Arquebusier' type regiments out to 4 new culturals and 1 precursor.
  • Added all new cultural 'Arquebusier' type regiments to the 'improved_arquebus' event chain. Full support!
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Major rebalancing of the 'Arquebusier' regiment and it's terrain bonus/maluses. It is now considered the most average of all new gunpowder types.
  • Modified the recruitment cost and maintenance values for the 'Arquebusier' regiment type. It now uses it's own unique scripted_values to determine cost.
  • Modified the 'Arquebus' innovation so that only non-cultural 'Arquebus' cultures will elect to research it.

ADDITIONS
  • Added a unique regiment_type, 'arquebusiers', to the list of types. Doing this allows more precise control over the 'Arquebusier' regiment and it's improvements. It also allows for cultural regiments of the same type.
  • Added proper localization for the new regiment_type and it's associated encyclopedia entry.
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Modified the 'Arquebusier' regiment to now use the correct type, 'arquebusiers', instead of 'archers'.
  • Modified all associated 'Arquebusier' regiment modifiers to point to the new regiment_type.
  • Minor English language localization improvements/fixes to the 'Arquebusier' and it's associated events.

  • Added Spanish localization for the decision to improve your Arquebus and it's associated event chain. (Thanks Valerian!)
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Fixed a bug with a random courtier appearing instead of your Marshal during the 3rd sequence of the 'improved_arquebus' event chain.
  • Fixed a bug with the 2nd sequence in the 'improved_arquebus' event chain so that your Marshal now properly reflects the right emotion.
  • Minor English localization fixes.

Minor Update - 'v1.2'
SAVEGAME COMPATIBLE

ADDITIONS
  • Added a new decision and event chain to improve the effectiveness of your 'Arquebusiers'. There are 3 possible positive modifiers to receive.
  • Added 3 unique modifiers that handle the positive boons received from taking the decision to improve the 'Arquebus'.
  • Added 5 unique modifiers which will impact the player depending on what choices they make during the 'improved_arquebus' event chain.
  • Added proper localization for new modifiers and any missing loc_keys.
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Modified the 'Arquebusier' MaA regiment stats by adding additional terrain malus/bonuses, increasing toughness by 5, and terrain bonus adjustments.
  • Modified the localization files for the 'improved_arquebus' decision and events. It is now essentially 100% complete.
  • Minor English localization fixes with the 'Arquebusier' regiment description.
  • Removed all references to vanilla triggers from the mod directory/files.
  • Removed obsolete localization used for vanilla triggers.

ADDITIONS
  • Added 2 new unique triggers, 'required_year' and 'required_year_greater_or_equal', which are used to manage the time-lock restriction.
CHANGES/FIXES
  • Modified the thumbnail artwork to reflect the new minor version increment.
  • Changed the 'Arquebus' innovation 'can_progress' requirement to now use the 'required_year_greater_or_equal' trigger instead of the vanilla trigger.
  • Modified the localization for the triggers to include the new values used in determining the ingame localization.
