Update to 2.9

Bug Fixes:

  • Effects of Warcry II and Warcry III are now displayed correctly
  • Heritor Assault Equipment fixed
Balance:
The doctrines Development Focus: Mobility and Development Focus: Power could easily be exploited by switching them on and off on the same turn; to prevent this, both are changed:
  • Development Focus: Mobility grants now only Expedited Movement for Ruins and Mountains (was Ruins, Forests, Mountains and Wetlands), instead all Scouts gain Fast Movement
  • Development Focus: Power grants +1 medal rank and +10% damage for Core, Skirmisher and Specialist units (was +20% XP); heroes with vehicles are excluded
Changes to hero skills:
  • Defensive Stance: Is now called Defensive Support and grants target non-hero unit +4 status effect resistance until end of combat (CD:2) (the old skill made all units immune to flanking and thus made tactical positioning less important)
  • Lethal Stance: Is now called Offensive Support and grants target non-hero units +20% critical hit chance (was: all units gain Flanker for 3 turns)
  • Unpredictable Attacks: Units in the hero’s army deal +15% damage with flanking attacks (was: +15% damage if they move at least 3 hexes)
  • Fortification: Units that don’t move during their turn gain +2 armor against non-flanking attacks (was +1 armor)

Update to 2.8.1:

  • Economical City Stuctures: Dilithium Energy Transmitter and Research Nexus provide +15 for every energy / research sector (was 10) and +10 for every water sector (was 5), production cost is reduced to 200 (was 300)
  • Assembler Shot (Disassembler): now leaves 1 AP (was full action), once per battle (was CD 2)
  • Armor Integration (Assembly hero skill): grants +1 armor for every enemy killed (was +2), stacks up to 5 times

  • Positronic Runner (DVAR Synthesis) can now attack Air units (but unlike Bulwark doesn't have Anti-Air)
  • Positronic Runnner has -5 HP
  • Plasma Artillery (DVAR Promethean): Improved the projectile arc

  • Oathbound skill Oracle’s Reward now only grants +3 entropic damage for single action attacks (was 4) and stacks up to 4 times (was 5)
  • Partially reverted the change for Mobility doctrine: Forward Bases cost now again 10 influence when the doctrine is active (was 5)
  • Units with mods have now the same production cost as without mods

Bug Fixes:

  • Consuming Strike didn’t work on mechanical units, now works an all non-mindless units
  • DVAR Chaos War Machine can now use entropy mods
  • The Oathbound hero skill Siege Runner grants now Fleet-footed instead of Very Fast Movement to avoid conflicts with the military background perk
  • Updated the description for Heritor Sanctum/Crystal Altar
Balance:
  • Military Innovation Center (Research Sector Upgrade) now grants on level 3/4/5 +50%/+100%/+150% XP for units produced in the city (was +20%/+40%/+60%)
  • Doctrine Development Focus: Mobility now only grants Expedited Movement for Forests, Wetlands, Mountains and Ruins, but it reduces cost for Forward Bases by 75% (was 50%)
  • Biomancer Scan-ability now lasts for an additional turn for each level the Biomancer has (to a maximum of 5 turns at Champion level) – this change should compensate for the fact that the Biomancer cannot scan simultaneously units that are on different levels even if they have the same name

Update to 2.4


Bug Fixes:

- Echo Fusioner hero skill grants now +1 shield (was +1 armor)

- Crippling Claws mod affects now repeating attacks (IE it works now for Frenzied)

- Lightning Artillery no longer has the ability of the colonizer to show city placement options on the strategic map


Balance:

- Record Keeper now grants only +15% XP for units and heroes

- Armored Tyrannodon, Firebreather and Helios Walker have now PyrX Absorption Plates

- Armored Tyrannodon, Smelter and Redeye have now Thermal Resistant Plating

- Infested Bombardon: range reduced to 6, shields reduced to 2, damage of artillery shot increased to 12 and cooldown to 1

- Essence Collector: has new defense mode (Absorption Shields) that grants an essence charge and +3 shields, range is reduced to 4 but accuracy is increased, damage is now 11 + 5 per essence charge

- Reawakened has now 4 entropic strength to apply energy drain, with a heritor mod this can be increased to 8 strength
