v1.8.0


Patchnotes for 1.6:
- Update for RimWorld 1.6
- Removed custom materials that were used for caravan camp buildings. Walls aren't using specific materials anymore, and bedrolls use vanilla materials
- The hightech camp version received a new color for tents. The orange was a bit meh
- The Research bench in the production tent is adjusted to not suffer the malus of not being placed in a laboritory
- Removed a custom friendly mech faction, that is no longer needed
- The ancient protective aura protects pawns from vacuum in space


Patchnotes for 1.5 & 1.6:
- The ancient gift will no longer be passed on to another pawn, when the gifted pawn dies with death refusal charges available
- Fixed the sacrileg hunter story faction not identifying insects as enemies
- Removed no longer needed VFE patch, that led to an error on startup
- The ancient coordinator spell now picks pawns to be linked based on distance towards the caster with the ancient gift
- Added an option that allows to disable the ancient coordinator ability from killing pawns past the configured limit
- Overhauled passions for pawns bought via the bounty feature
- When the ancient gift is being passed on to another pawn (due to death or via talking to the anima tree), other psycasts can now be transferred as well
- Fixed an error popping up when the game was started without having the Biotech DLC active
- General Settings option to increase available silver and food now also applies to orbital traders, instead of just settlements
- Added SOS2 compatibility to via ancient ability spawned scythers, or CA mechs in general
- Scythers spawned via the Ancient Mech Signal no longer drop plasteel when deconstructed
- Spawned scythers via Ancient Mech Signal no longer increase raid points by an unreasonable amount
- Increased the amount of genes that the camp gene bank can hold
- The diabolus can now be called via the mini camp console
- Camp fabrics are less valuable to decrease the overall camp value a bit
- Improved detection for age of adults when determining relationships


Known issues / things to be improved soon:
- when calling reinforcements via CA's bounty hunting functionality in space, they currently don't behave correctly, will investigate
- landing on story related ancient master shrines with the grav ship is currently possible, when the shrine was discovered beforehand which is not intended. Due to a bug in vanilla this is currently possible, but will likely be fixed. Landing with the grav ship shouldn't be possible, as it exposes the player to hostile reinforcements for too long, in case the grav engine requires multiple days until it can launch again

v1.7.1

- allowing the ancient protective aura to cure some of the more annoying anomaly impairments, like metalhorror infections
- fixed sacrileg hunters being neutral to anomaly entities
- fixed sos2 patch... again
- mystical guiding light should now be usable by non-violent pawns
- fixed a beta issue with tome trader stock generator checking for the storyteller, which is null when patches are applied
- added additional bounty point reward configurations for VFE Mechanoids, Alpha Mechs and Integrated Implants provided by Giltiti, thank you!
- increased the available silver in settlements a bit more (option can be found in general settings, disabled by default)
- ancient gift can only exist once and disappears from anomaly dupes, added setting to disable the limitation
- fixed kidnapped pawns not passing on the ancient gift
- fixed a renamed category def that caused a HAR patch to fail

v1.6.0

Added:
- added performance mode for the storyline, that reduces the amount of used pawns noticeably, can be adjusted in a setup window or in mod settings
- added ability setting to adjust incoming aura damage reduction
- added melee engage toggle, that allows to have melee pawns engage new enemies automatically when they come close *
- added a new sorter in the caravan forming menu that allows to sort by pawn title (unchanged titles will remain unsorted above changed ones) *
- added a compact gene bank to the high tech camp, making travel with gene samples easier
- added current temperature info to tile inspection string when having a tile selected
- added feature to disallow dropping worn out gear on hostile maps when undrafted and a apparel hp limit is set *
- added optional feature to increase the firefoam popper trigger range to 5 cells *
- added some more dismantle materials for bosses, so looting them offers some reward

* disabled by default, enable in general settings. Restart of the game may be required to apply the changes

Adjustments:
- equalized passions on soldiers based on new pawn creation rules
- adjusted passion distribution for hired veterans
- rebalanced archite gene chance in bounty credit shop
- added tax for credit purchases with silver for the bounty system which reduces the gained points by roughly 70% when buying with silver as an incentive to hunt mechs rather than just buy with silver (adjustable in options)
- increased ancient prototective aura psyfocus cost to 1% each 5 seconds
- disabled worksites for sac hunters, they were just annoying

Compatibility
- added support for rimedieval, when detected, insects will be used as the primary hostile faction instead of mechanoids. Doesn't change any lore, text or textures yet, but the story should be playable now
- fixed sos2 experimental error for a missing method, that could no longer be patched, as planet to planet travel was removed, added support for new pressure system
- added new biotech mechs to possible mechs in shrines
- fixed possible compatibility issue with camping mood bonus canceling the camp creation
- added ce patch for the friendly scyther that was previously missing

Fixes:
- fixed apocalypse temperature slider in mod options not working correctly
- fixed skill decay level increase in general options not considering passions
- fixed sac hunter relation changes in mod options not applying until story progresses
- added missing rarer archite gene to pool of genes purchasable via bounty system
- added missing boss to bounty reward compatibility table
- fixed mass not updating when pawns were pre preselected when opening the caravan forming screen
- possibly fixed damsel in distress faction issue
- fixed detection patrols not attacking immediately
- improved sac hunters fleeing in colder temperatures too early

New features and compatibility updates:
- added a subtle aura animation for the active ancient protective aura
- added SoS2 feature allowing ancient aura protected pawns to absorb incoming heat produced e.g. by incoming fire on shields and convert it into psychic heat for an aura protected pawn until their limit is reached or the pawn collapses due to psychic shock if overload is allowed. A new toggle/gizmo was added for aura protected pawns to enable ship protection (The conversion rate and the percentage of heat absorbed can be adjusted in mod settings)
- added SoS2 patch to avoid hypoxia for ancient aura protected pawns

Fixes:
- fixed story quest breaking when worlds are switched (SoS2), however hostile factions seem to no longer be hostile to other npc factions after a world switch which is a current SoS2 bug, so possibly hold off with world switches during the story until that bug is resolved
- fixed silver exchanges for bounty credits in space (SoS2), trade beacons are no longer required
- likely fixed a compatibility issue in the bounty system's veteran generation in case used traits were disabled by other mods
- improved story pawn creation behavior to possibly avoid a rare incompatibility case
- adjusted roof for final boss room to be mountain roofed
- added option to leave invisible camp center behind when packing up the camp without leaving, so the control options to leave immediately can still be used (needs to be enabled in options)
