v2.12.1 The "Status" Update

  • Status Lights: The bottom-left agent list now shows a variety of statuses
    • Ambush/Overwatch/Hacking (Data Banks, Monst3r, etc)/Sprinting
    • Poisoned (for Programs Extended)
    • Cloaked: Indicates remaining duration and distance, updating live with the movement preview. This also shows in tooltips. (Credit: @RolandJ)
  • Related changes:
    • Tooltip when hovering the agent list is the unit's full normal tooltip, instead of just their name.
    • Remaining AP in the agent list now updates for ability previews (hovering an ability that uses previewAbilityAP() in its tooltip). Previously, only the hexagon chit's AP updated for these, while both locations updated for movement previews.
    • Vanilla abilities that now use ability previews for AP (previously only Sprint and Peek): Observe, Use Stim
  • Make the effect-radius hover icons (live grenades, pulse drones, etc) visible normally, instead of only in Vision Mode. The discoverability may be more helpful than worries about too many icons.

v2.11.2

Fixed 4-year-old bug in changes to agent movement previews that could lag the game. Path length limit is once again enforced, avoiding excessive computation when no path is available.

  • Suppress stacktrace from a warning when sim-rewind-stability of guard path colors has been violated. Whatever's causing this is too common; I don't need to spam everybody else's logs.

  • Overwatch warning on Use Cloak now specifies "cloak-piercing guards" to remind you to check for modded guards.
  • Footprints no longer record "heard" movement when a guard steps outwards across the noise range. This now matches how sound works for player sprinting and the visible ripples on guard movement.

  • Show travel time on the world map. Hover a location to see the relative time from the hovered location to each of the others.
  • Change anims in a Neptune hallway prefab to match the tile flags (a 1x2 couch is replaced with a corresponding 1x1 chair)

  • Fix one of the states of the "Cycle Path/Footprints" button showing the wrong image when hovered
