Welp, here it goes. You now have a second map, "Gigantea-and-Underwold" to play alongside the simpler and stabler "Gigantea" map. Now there's an extensive underworld that you'll hopefully have fun exploring. It may well be buggy since multiple planes can't be done in the map editor yet. I sat and deliberatedon this update for a long time. However, at some point, the underworld map has to emerge from its cave and see the light of day. Pun intended.

Made troll kings and wild factions survive longer on outer rim. Ancient forests are citadels for them.

Made the Vale of the Dead (final slot) a bit more juicy for its intended AI, trying to get it to be a contender against the Empire (slot 23).
Added more interest to the wild Outer Lands.

This is the first upload of a 99x99 map, featuring 24 fixed positions, and an extra citadel and stationary commander for each. Plenty of chokepoints. Not intended for balanced play,

Factions that need woods or minesare best in the first 4 slots, factions that need settlements in the next 16 slots. Of the last three special slots, the very last should be a necromancer; the second to last is whoever you want to become ultra-powerful as a new Emperor; third to last is a nice little secluded woodland.
