Update: 5 May, 2024 @ 12:16pm

  • New: Gelt's special building, Temple of Elemental Winds, gets a celestial wizard to defend it.
  • New: Gelt's special building, Cathayan Embassy, gets some garrison units.
  • Fixed: Gelt shouldn't get reinforcements from Karl Franz if Reikland is dead.
  • Fixed: HI MORRSLIEB not gaining XP properly.
  • Changed: Since Golden Order is no longer part of Empire Politics, there shouldn't be any restriction on them confederating electors and vice versa.
  • Changed: Gotrek & Felix's quest battle can be auto-resolved just like all the other Empire quest battles.

Update: 4 May, 2024 @ 1:00am

  • Removed: All Imperial Authority-related stuff, including improvements to previous mechanics or unique opportunities that either required or provided authority.
  • Removed: Felix & Gotrek-related changes.
  • Removed: Multiplayer Empire Politics campaign overhaul.
  • Removed: Allegiance buffs from diplomatic research techs.
  • Changed: some research tech changes to make construction improvements easier to reach.
  • Changed: Elemental Bear Greatcoats no longer provide snow attrition reduction since there's a new snow immunity research tech.
  • Changed: Elector Brazenly Declares Independence will only occur after turn 10, because why would you want to start the game by going to war with your fellow electors? Be serious
  • Changed: HI MORRSLIEB no longer automatically unlocks for Gelt at level 2. Instead, one will be provided to the force that loses a fight. Unless the force is wiped out, in that case it'll be provided to the faction RoR pool. HI MORRSLIEB is no longer a unique unit, but since it's so absurdly overpowered, it's still limited in count.

Update: 11 Mar, 2024 @ 8:44pm

  • New late game unique opportunities:
    • If you have an alliance with at least one Dwarf factions, you can burn a ton of prestige to get more defensive supplies.
    • If you have an alliance with at least one Kislev factions, you can burn some prestige and some authority to get immunity to cold attrition.
  • Changed: If you successfully bring a faction that brazenly declared their secession back into the fold, you won't get +1 imperial authority in single player.
  • Changed: Stahlberg's Letter grants extra protection against enemy agents. (You get this as the elector reward for taking out Vlad von Carstein, but the letter only grants leadership bonus against vampire counts, so it's mostly useless as unique items go.)
  • Changed: removed Hero's Come Back icon from the faction bar, it's just taking up space.
  • Fixed: post-incident events aren't persisted properly.

Update: 28 Feb, 2024 @ 12:44pm

  • New: civil war triggered when Imperial Authority hits -10 no longer causes all Elector Counts to declare war on you. Instead, the Empire Separatists return by stealing some of your settlements. This makes civil war not the end of your campaign but just another obstacle to overcome.
  • Changed: If there's room in your stack, you could capture 1 additional artillery piece (up to 2) if you don't autoresolve the Battle of Bloodpine Woods.
  • Fixed: If more than 1 Elector Count dies, it's possible for Imperial Authority to get stuck at -9.
  • Fixed: When Gotrek wanders off, the replacement general has a massive movement debuff.

Update: 22 Feb, 2024 @ 6:06pm

Should work for patch 4.2.0.

Update: 14 Jan, 2024 @ 9:58pm

The Old World updated literally minutes after I posted the previous update T___T

Update: 14 Jan, 2024 @ 4:12pm

  • New: This mod works with ChaosRobie's The Old World campaign.
  • Changed: MARKUS ... WULFHART is not in Lustria in TOW. Instead, he's in, uh, "North Lustria". Yeah. That's where he is.
  • Changed: only player Cult of Sigmar starts with Knights of the Blazing Sun, not AI.
  • Fixed: DLC check for Volkmar doesn't work.

Changes to Empire Politics
  • Changed: event cooldowns are tracked separately so it won't be everyone getting the same dilemmas at exactly the same time.
  • Changed: Region Return dilemmas are prioritized for PRINCE AND EMPEROR Karl Franz and also Balthasar Gelt. If other Elector Counts are players, then they'll get to vote in the outcome. (With what I hope is the very obvious caveat that your preferred outcome will not happen if your side is outvoted. Please do not complain if this happens: that's life.)
  • Changed: if an AI Elector Count brazenly attempts to secede, players can vote on the outcome. Given that a jerk player or an AI may vote to use force, the player will have an option to politic even harder to solve this peacefully. Ties are broken by whichever elector has the most imperial authority.
  • Changed: the player order for confederation dilemmas is randomized and sequentialized, so it won't always be the first player who gets a dilemma.
  • Changed: only one player can respond to an invasion at a time. However, other Elector Counts may choose to offer additional support that could make the response successful.
  • Changed: returning a region to an elector will give you a diplomatic bonus with that elector.
  • Changed: reinstating an Elector Count will only grant 1 fealty.
  • Changed: liberating an Elector Count will grant 1 fealty.
  • Changed: all player Elector Counts will lose imperial authority when a fellow Elector is destroyed.
  • Changed: only the player Elector Count that actually re-instated an Elector will receive the imperial authority bonus, as opposed to the first player to finish processing the start of the round.
  • Changed: invasions will prefer to target undefended regions.
  • Fixed: the vanilla confederation cooldown isn't being respected.
  • Fixed: starting fealty is too randomized leading to an unfair spread of possible values.
