Traits
  • The Traits submod has been removed. Now that we are able to make traits toggleable it no longer serves a purpose and would make maintenance and expansion more difficult.
Carrier
  • Carriers can now be randomly assigned at character creation instead of selectable as a trait.
    • The rarity of carriers can be configured.
    • Randomly selected carriers will not be able to see Carrier in their trait list to prevent abuse.
      • In the future, some kind of medical check to discover carriers could be introduced.
    • Traits affect the chance of becoming a carrier. Characters with Prone to Illness are much less likely to be carriers, and characters with Resilient are much more likely. Some other traits have a small effect too.
    • The trait can also now be disabled entirely if desired.
  • Carriers will now come back as zombies after death even if they weren't infected.

  • Carrier is only removed from your trait selection when re-entering the menu if the cost was changed. Previously it was always removed when re-entering.

Changes:
Now prints all detected masks into the log, so users can check if their modded items will work - bug me to fix it if an item that should be detected isn't!
Players with the carrier trait are now immune to being infected by zombies if using Susceptible and 'Everyone is Susceptible' is enabled
Some performance improvements

Players are now infectious at a longer range indoors, but the chance of transmission is a lot lower outside of the regular range

Changes:
Slightly reduced infection range to compensate
Reduced infectiousness of Carriers
Tweaked Carrier icon

Bugfixes:
Fixed bug where low infection chances were completely unable to infect
