v1.15

Major Milestones in development. Getting very closed to the finished tag!

MISC CHANGES:
Adjusted movement speed to really give the feeling of being the speediest of the cast on the ground. Unlike before where jumping would consistently make you faster. Ground friction 0.9 -> 0.6, full dash now has 2 speeds with another acceleration time: 8.8 -> 7.5 & 9.1. Air friction has been increased from 0.24 -> 0.38, ground jump hsp reduced by 0.3.

-New Icon for offscreen. Maybe a bit small, but now fits in bubble.

-Now able to grind on the ground by crouching with speed.

-Now able to remain dashing if you Dair and land with speed.

-Final Stand state is now indicated with new music in the match.

POLISH:
-HUD added!
INCLUDES
--Dragon boost meter
--Crystal shard counter
--Icon for Uspecial spring availability

-New wall jump animation!

-New easter egg voicelines added.

NERFS:
-Double jump and Uair now interfere with each other, (consuming/putting the other on cooldown).

-Fair had a bugfix to increase its whifflag. (Hopefully for real this time.)

-Grounded Dspecial can now brick you.

-Boost Breaker can grant extended stun if parried.
--Fspecial is harder to control with the friction changes.

-Lilac is now at weight 1.03 to have a small counterbalance to increased air friction.

BUFFS:
-Nspecial has had hitbox grouping changes to kill targets more consistently with the final hit if the second groundbox connects.
-Nspecial ground_box 2 now deals 2dmg to make up for grouping with a 3dmg regular_box.

-Rune K was buffed to undo part of the double jump -- Uair changes.

-Reduced friction makes Lilac faster with Dattack and able to slide easily into Dtilt.

-Speed changes make Bair combos significantly better, but less opportunity to hang offstage with them.

-Lilac now enters Final Stand at a slightly earlier percent.


KNOWN ISSUES
-Full dash acceleration gives full speed on the first frame. This is fixed for next patch.
-Milla still has artifact pixels.
-Utilt hitfalling could be problematic (too strong).
-Final stand mechanic could be problematic for balance. Might only include feature in aether stages (casual matches).

BUFFS:
Jab
-No longer causes parry-stun to Lilac when parried.

Nspecial (Cyclone)
-Now has small stacked hitboxes to pick up smaller characters, or those crouching underneath Cyclone. Crouching is still very useful for minimizing damage taken at low percents.
--Will improve landing Cyclone directly on opponents by hitting sooner.
--Will improve overall multihit consistency/stun.
---Will NOT increase total possible damage output of Cyclone.

Dash Attack
-Less Hitpause for opponents to DI, and more consistent inputs for combos.

Forward Strong
[BUG FIX] -Tipper was not properly applying Rune "A" poison.

Fspecial 2 (Boost Breaker)
-Now has a buff at endgame. Endgame is when the game is in "last stock" status and Lilac is past 105% dmg.
-If Lilac triggers her endgame condition; hitbox 1's damage, hitpause, and knockback increase.

NERFS:
Dash Attack
-Hitstun reduced by 5% to reduce instances of outwards DI killing on its own.

POLISH CHANGES:
[BUG FIX] -Crystal Shard collision should now be more centered.

-New respawn platform. (Somewhat bulky but I liked the style. Possible change in the future.)

-Idle stance timer now properly changes to her combat stance after using an attack. (Previously would change with any change in state including movement.)
--Idle voiceline and animation trigger are unchanged. (This is how the AFK timer functions in Freedom Planet.)

Current concern, possible strength of utilt-resets onto platforms may be too strong for ladder combos. Only seem to be hit at kill-percents so it is likely a non-issue.

-Increased range on Dstrong

NEW RUNES!
-Rune O, I-frames after getting hit!
-Rune K, dair cancelling for pogos!

General Changes
Good deal of new voicelines under specific circumstances and conditions!
-Will comment on Forsburn clone.
-Will comment on spawn after losing a game.
-Will comment after extended time on respawn platform.
-Has different lines for rule changes in matches on initial spawn.

GENERAL CHANGES

-Utilt and Uair had their SFX swapped.
This was done to separate the grounded sfx options Utilt and Dtilt for clarity when fighting against Lilac.

-Nair has new SFX!
Sounds nicer and will increase clarity between double-jump and Nair.

-Fstrong has changed SFX!
Fits better with the audio style of Bair.

-Dstrong has new SFX!
Fits better to source material and length of the move.

[NOTE: on hit sfx have been left unchanged.]

NEW RUNE ADDED!
-Spawn in with a shield!
--Absorb 50% dmg before breaking and setting your damage to fresh spawn.
(The shield is styled after the crystal shield, but recolored blue. Original is yellow.)

POLISH:
-Included proper voiceline for staying idle. (Previous voiceline was using a charselect line.)

KNOWN ISSUES
-You can still heal while your shield is damaged as it uses player percentage to keep enemy combo-game consistent.
-Attacking immediately after a carol-summon taunt can cause her to disappear before her despawn.
-Occasional hitbox logic issues for crystal spawning when shards are destroyed by hitboxes.

MOVEMENT CHANGES:

-Short-hop speed reduced from 8.7 to 8.68.

Nspecial
-Cyclone has reduced gravity towards the end of the move.
-Cyclone prevents fallspeed greater than 1.5 if the up input is held for the first 4 windows.

Dair
-Divekick flurry now adds horizontal momentum when leaving the roll.
-Divekick flurry now turns around to face your movement direction.


BUFFS:

Bair
-The sweetspot now has increased knockback scaling. 0.38 -> 0.59


MISC CHANGES:
-Changed animation for parry. Now has 4 frames of animation. Currently no blue ring effect. Plans are to re-add the effect in post-draw.

-Idle animation changes without any extended activity to reflect source material.


KNOWN ISSUES:
-Frame perfect jumps and Uspecials can be halted from a grounded blink-dash over an edge.

MOVEMENT CHANGES

-New Feature! Blink dash can now be used out of airdodge and has a slight hangtime property.
--Blink dash's exit speed

-Dash start speed reduced from 6.6 -> 6.1.

-Dash attack will now more intentionally leave ledge if held, and stop at ledge if let go.

NERFS

-Weight nerfed from 1 to 1.02

-Blink Dash's cooldown increased from 100 frames to 220 frames.

BUFFS

-Bug fix should increase damage dealt on down air.
-Force increase on dair should increase multi-hits and further damage output & kills.

-Blink Dash can now be used in the air and will snap to ledge for recovering.
--Blink dash will halt your momentum for 4 frames if grounded-dashing off a ledge.

-HOTFIXED AIRDODGE PLAYING BAIR ANIMATION

NERFS:

Dstrong
-Startup increased from 8 to 14 frames.
-Slightly decreased kill-power.

Nair
-Now has whifflag and 1 more fixed frame of recover time.

Dtilt
-Damaged reduced from 7 sour and 7 sweet, to 5 sour and 6 sweet.

Fspecial
-Boost Breaker now gives 2x cooldown to dragon dash (800 frames).
-Boost breaker force reduced by 3%.
-Incoming damage increased until another move is used.

BUFFS:

Fstrong
-Now has higher priority on its hitboxes.

CHANGES:

Fair
-If you are grounded at the beginning of the active window, you will lose all horizontal speed.

Ftilt
-Reduced force on initial hitbox; the hair whip hitbox is unchanged.

General Movement
-Jump horizontal speed slightly reduced from the ground.

Updated Back Air!
-Bair now plays the animation in the proper order!
-Bair should now retain proper pixel color. (Should help with alts)
--Bair has slight hitbox adjustments (mostly to the sourspot).
--Sourspot angle changed from 45->40
--Sweetspot angle changed 45->50
--Sweetspot now lowers in knockback the longer the hitbox is active.

-Extra stocks now become more expensive (+10) each time you earn a bonus stock. No more infinite abyss runs!

-Deal half knockback. Crystal Bonus 50% -> 25%.
-Heal on Gem creation fail. Heal chance 2.8/10 to 2.3/10. Heal 2% -> 1%.
