Update: 25 Jan, 2024 @ 2:48am

5.1.0 is now live. This makes some tweaks to our "legendary" armors and introduces a fourth set of mithril armor that focuses on expertise, filling in a void left behind by the large reduction in expertise with the previous changes.

This update contains the following:

**New**

Light Expertise Mithril:
- Light Expertise Mithril Headwear
- Light Expertise Mithril Upperbody
- Light Expertise Mithril Bracelets
- Light Expertise Mithril Lowerbody
- Light Expertise Mithril Anklets
As the name implies this is a light armor set that focuses on expertise at the expense of agility and strength. This is crafted from the new set of Light Expertise Grand armor.

Light Expertise Grand:
- Light Expertise Grand Headwear
- Light Expertise Grand Upperbody
- Light Expertise Grand Bracelets
- Light Expertise Grand Lowerbody
- Light Expertise Grand Anklets
This set is intended to fill the void left behind for gathering for most servers(or caster gear for servers who use expertise as spell power scaling) and is crafted with new recipes that require the same materials as existing Light Grand armor.

- Icons for the above.
- Recipes for the above, all of which are available to master artisans via the feat.
- Properly gave the Blood Witch and Eldritch Knight shrines item IDs. Oops.

**Changes**

Bard:
- Biting Words now scales with magic power.
- Vicious Mockery now scales with magic power.

- More tweaks to legendary armors.
- Updated some outdated icons as well and/or icons I didn't update properly during the last wave.
- Modified the Orichalcum material.
- Slight modifications to the existing orichalcum weapons for better visuals.
- Slight modifications to the existing mithril weapons for better visuals.

**Fixes**

- Warcry of Taunting will no longer target allies.

**Testing**

- Flight spell that is in testing. It is called "Flight" and available as an item, or you can give it out with a recipe. It -should- work on a live server and cause you to grant flight to anyone around you for 2 minutes.
- Spell version of Fairy State to remove the need for an item. It's not ready for public use, but it exists. Still struggling with this, but trying different logic with this.
- Spell version of "Fairy Flight" with no animation and no cast time. This is not ready for use as it's very buggy.

Update: 22 Jan, 2024 @ 8:09pm

5.0.2 is now live. This is a hotfix primarily to fix a bug with druid's rejuv circle that was introduced with the funcom hotfix.

This update contains the following:

**New**

- New logic for clerics that check if you have a particular god feat and if so, it plays a modified animation. This currently checks for a custom feat on Maelstrom while I test it and I think this update has every cleric spell now. We'll see how it goes.
- Trying a different way to utilize magic power that may work more consistent for healing effects and other similar spells. This is currently in testing on a new spell made specifically to test.
- AoE instant "Crippling Mist" spell for server administrators to use as needed. This spell does not do damage and thus does not interrupt spellcasting, but it does cripple characters.

**Changes**

- All anti nightvision devices now remove every kind of nightvision I could find.
- Medium Mithril armor has had its armor increased.

Druid:
- Wildfire Circle PvE has had it's cooldown reduced by 50%.
- Storm Circle PvE has had it's cooldown reduced by 50%.

Entertainer:
- Because by default Entertainer can learn spells via the Bard feat, they are now on the Mystic subclass shrine. Entertainer will retain the ability to craft both essence of expertise and mysticism at their discretion.

Bladesinger, Outlaw:
- Warsong and Cloak now reduce your armor by the amount of armor you gain from the grit given by these abilities, canceling eachother out.

Prismaticist:
- Multiplier on prismatic fire and lightning reduced for PvE spells to bring their damage down a bit.

**Fixes**

- Corrected a particle effect issue on Deluge where it was fire and water. Feuer und Wasser is a good song, but not quite so fitting in the context of this spell.
- Prismaticist (RP) Feat is now obtainable as a Prismaticist. Yikes.
- Druid's rejuv circle (PvE) is no longer healing enemy creatures. Double yikes.
- Quench and Satiate should maybe work for non-admins in game now. I apply the buff in a different way, both of which worked in the devkit.

Update: 17 Jan, 2024 @ 3:50am

5.0.1 is now live. This is a hotfix to correct messed up armor materials, stats, and some logic that seemed to be eaten by the push.

This update contains the following:

*New*

- Zilch.

*Changes*

Armor:

- Corrected materials on many of the new legendary pieces.
- Corrected some mucked up descriptions.
- Fixed the bonus on two of them that somehow got zeroed out.
- Corrected some values on these items for their attributes.

*Fixes*

- Adjusted some in-testing spell data that checked for feats to see if it will really check for the feat now on a live server. :^)
- Adjusted the damage done of Cause Greater Wounds.
- Adjusted the healing amount from Blood Healing Circle(non-rejuv).

*Testing*

- Flight spell that is in testing. It is called "Flight" and available as an item, or you can give it out with a recipe. It -should- work on a live server and cause you to grant flight to anyone around you for 2 minutes.
- Spell version of Fairy State to remove the need for an item. It's not ready for public use, but it exists. Still struggling with this, but trying different logic with this.
- Spell version of "Fairy Flight" with no animation and no cast time. This is not ready for use as it's very buggy.

Update: 17 Jan, 2024 @ 12:44am

5.0.0 is now live. This change has the rework for grand and mithril armors as well as makes Prismaticist available in the book(as well as some other changes) to various things.

This update contains the following:

*New*

- Prismaticist is now available in the class journal and from the Prismaticist class shrine.
The Prismaticist is in a totally playable state. I will continue to develop it as it is a "copycat" class that uses prismatic(or rainbow) versions of other spells to do similar things. It's primarily a damage dealing class, though it does prodive some support, and in a group situation it shouldn't be relied upon solely to keep a group alive as it will be unable to perform to the level of a true hybrid. It does, however, provide some cleansing effects, healing on being hit, and some damage reflection to group members.

New armor that is in testing and not intended to be given to the end user, rather they are meant to be used for story purposes or as rewards for suitably difficult undertakings. These items have "Hallowed" in the name.

Other new armor that is intended to be a "legendary" equivalent of the Professions mithril armors and thus not available for craft but is available for server administration to make available as they like. Currently this includes the following:
- Mask of Shadows: This item provides a massive boost to agility and stamina.
- Gloves of Shadows: This item provides a massive boost to agility and stamina.
- Pride of Culann: This item provides a massive boost to strength and stamina.
- Bracers of Dragon's Might: This item provides a massive boost to strength.
- Crown of Might: This item provides a massive boost to strength.
- Flamespeaker Circlet: This item provides a massive boost to expertise.
- Flamespeaker Bracers: This item provides a massive boost to expertise.
- Beastmaster's Bracers: This item provides a massive boost to authority.
- Mask of Command: This item provides a massive boost to authority.
- Mask of Dreams: This item provides a massive boost to health and expertise.
All of the above items provide at least a +1 to all attributes, but focus primarily on one or two areas.

- New icons for everything that is new and needed them.

Blood Witch, Cleric, and Druid:
- Regeneration circles(from all healers) now apply the Energized buff to targets hit, increasing their damage done with weapons and their follower's damage done.

Blood Witch:
- Blood Healing Circle(PvP and PvE) can now be crafted. This spell does instant healing on cast but has a long cooldown. The effect doesn't stack, either, to prevent stacking Blood Witches for infinite healing.

Cleric:
- Cause Greater Wounds spell that has a long cast time and does more damage per tick than the other spell. These stack, but greater wounds is very easy to interrupt and is mostly intended to fill a void in the Cleric's rotation.

*Changes*

Blood Witch:
- Blood Drain now applies Energized Blood buff, increasing the Blood Witch's damage done with followers and weapons.

Ranger
- Increased the range of Hunter's Mark PvE and PvP.
- Increased the range of Rend Mark PvE and PvP.
- Prevented Hunter's Mark from being consumed by damage other than Rend Mark.

Armor:

- Worn Armor has received a buff for any who use it as starting armor(like Maelstrom). It now provides a bit of stamina and encumberance as well as health and the durability of each piece has increased so it doesn't break immediately.
- All grand and mithril armor now provides less encumberance.
- Heavy Grand and Mithril armor now weigh slightly more.
- Heavy Grand and Mithril armor now provide more health and stamina than previous sets of the same type, however, they provide less strength and agility.
- Medium Grand and Mithril armor no longer provide agility. Instead, they now provide more strength than they did before.
- Light Grand and Mithril armor now weighs less than it did before.
- Light Grand and Mithril armor no longer provides any strength. Instead, they now provide more agility than they did before.

Barbarian:
- Enraged Grasp should now cause flying characters to stop flying and be upset.

Druid:
- Wildfire Circle does more damage.
- Storm Circle does more damage to targets hit by Deluge.
These changes impact PvP and PvE versions.

*Fixes*

-

*Testing*

- Flight spell that is in testing. It is called "Flight" and available as an item, or you can give it out with a recipe. It -should- work on a live server and cause you to grant flight to anyone around you for 2 minutes.
- Spell version of Fairy State to remove the need for an item. It's not ready for public use, but it exists. Still struggling with this, but trying different logic with this.
- Spell version of "Fairy Flight" with no animation and no cast time. This is not ready for use as it's very buggy.

Update: 9 Jan, 2024 @ 3:42pm

4.9.4 is now live. This is another reminder that Grand and Mithril armors will be receiving a redesign to their statistics in a few weeks, closer to the end of the month. This patch changes some things about how Prismaticist works, attempts a fix for flight related issues for in-progress abilities, and makes a few changes to some other classes.

This update contains the following:

New

Ranger:
- "Ranger's Mark" ability that has a quick cast time and does nothing on its own other than prime targets for follow up effects. If the Ranger hits their marked target the target is massively slowed and the mark is consumed. The Ranger has another ability as well that they can use to "rend" the mark and inflict extra damage on marked targets.
- "Rend Mark" that consumes Ranger's Mark to apply a bleed effect that ticks every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. Casters can get casts off in between bleed ticks for normal spells, but long spell-casts are impossible. Rending your marked targets also heals the Ranger.

- New anti-nightvision device that disables nightvision in the same radius anti-flight works currently.
- Added an anti-flight and climb device that also disables nightvision.
- Added an anti-flight, climb, and swim device that also disables nightvision.
- New icons for the new abilities or objects.
- Some new particles for the new stuff.
- New spell stuff for Blood Witch that isn't ready, thus the temporary stop-gap change.

Changes

Prismaticist:
- Adjusted many Prismaticist particles.
- Prismatic Barrier now heals for more when targets are struck, particularly with the PvE version.

Barbarian:
- Enraged Grasp now has a cripple effect on hit.

Blood Witch:
- Exsanguinate PvE now does more damage. At a later date Blood Witch will receive an overhaul to bring them in line with the new design philosophy, so stay tuned for that.

Fixes

- Attempted a fix to the "Flight" spell to make it behave better.

Testing

- Flight spell that is in testing. It is called "Flight" and available as an item, or you can give it out with a recipe. It -should- work on a live server and cause you to grant flight to anyone around you for 2 minutes.
- Spell version of Fairy State to remove the need for an item. It's not ready for public use, but it exists. Still struggling with this, but trying different logic with this.
- Spell version of "Fairy Flight" with no animation and no cast time. This is not ready for use as it's very buggy.
- All "Prismaticist" abilities.
- Anti nightvision placeable items.

Update: 30 Dec, 2023 @ 3:50am

4.9.3 is now live. This has some work on some upcoming utility spells and an introduction of level scaling effects on warcries in a slightly different way, which required me to refactor all of their scaling but it should be very close to their values from 4.9.1 and before now. Also another iteration on Prismaticist.

This update contains the following:

New

- Once again, many new particles for the Prismaticist.
- Some new ice particles for upcoming things.
- Some testing utility spells that aren't ready for people to try.

Changes

- Reworked anti-flight to tick evenly at 1 second and apply unique buffs that don't stack rather than trying to use Funcom's existing debuffs, as the existing debuffs seem to have difficulty ticking consistently.

Prismaticist:
Reworking this again. It's been very difficult to get the whole "mode switch" to feel satisfying while not defeating the purpose of a hybird, so I'm removing the "lock" from activating Prismatic Sphere, meaning you will always cast to allies and enemies and the class is being rebalanced with that in mind. Prismaticist no longer has an on demand heal button, but rather all Prismaticist healing will come in direct response to taking damage from their active buffs. The goal of this is that the Prismaticist will augment a group but will not be able to replace a dedicated healer.

- Prismatic Sphere no longer grants Prismatic Elation and instead grants prismatic regeneration to allies.
- Prismatic Charge now grants Prismatic Elation to all allies when cast.
- Prismatic Blast now grants Prismatic Barrier to all allies when cast.
- Prismatic Burst now grants Prismatic Reflection to all allies when cast.

Fixes

- Implemented a hopefully real fix for warcries with level scaling implemented again in a way that cannot possibly result in negative damage done if it's working correctly. Let's cross our fingers... Sorry to all the warriors who suffered a huge decrease in performance for a day. Hopefully we're back to where we were before and no one ends up doing negative damage anymore.

Update: 29 Dec, 2023 @ 4:10am

4.9.2 is now live. This hopefully fixes a new error since 3.3 making war cries able to scale into the negatives? Not sure what changed, but I removed their level scaling logic and set them at a baseline. This baseline may need to be evaluated, so try not to be alarmed if your damage done or stats change.

This update contains the following:

New

- Particles. Many of them.
- RP Spell(no mechanical function) for Summon Ally.
- New spell logic for Prismatic Blast and Prismatic Burst effects on allies. This is mostly stuff the end user won't realize, but how they acquire targets is changed and it was a bit of doing.

Changes

- Anti-Flight and similar devices now tick every 1.5 seconds instead of every 1.0 second. Hopefully this makes them consistently apply damage between device ticks.

Prismaticist:

- Prismatic Sphere now locks you into doing damage for 30 seconds.
- Prismatic Blast's effect on allies, Prismatic Barrier, now lasts 10 seconds. It still has a 1 second activation cooldown.
- Prismatic Barrier should now properly cleanse bleed and poison effects.
- Prismatic Burst's effect on allies, Prismatic Reflection, now lasts 10 seconds.
- Prismatic Reflection now applies a debuff to targets and properly respects its cooldown.
- Prismatic Burst PvE version now only targets non-players as intended for its reflection damage.
- Many small and large changes to particle effects here. If anyone outside of our server is testing this and you see an issue with particles, ie. a floating flat plane or something you think is "broken", please report it in discord. Thanks!

Fixes

- Reworked war cries. They should no longer be capable of negative scaling.

Update: 28 Dec, 2023 @ 5:24am

4.9.1 is now live. This fixes an important issue with my existing classes(I -think-, I spent an hour wiping and getting my classes again - all of them are 100% of the time giving me attributes in the devkit!) so that when you pick any class introduced since Eldritch Knight, you actually gain your conan character attributes like strength or vitality every time you spawn in. Also, this adds the Prismaticist with its own shrine but not to the journal while I test it. There's a lot to unpack in this class, but feel free to give it a whirl. Particles are still very WIP.

This update contains the following:

New

Prismaticist:
- "Prismatic Sphere" ability that drops a multi-colored orb, damaging enemies and buffing allies damage done. Prismatic Sphere also functions as a "mode switch" for the Prismaticist, locking them into doing damage for the next 15 seconds by applying either Prismatic Fire or Prismatic Lightning. Because of the cast time of the effect, this will create windows where the Prismaticist either cannot cast damage spells or cannot cast healing spells.
- "Prismatic Charge" ability that has a 'wild magic' aspect where it casts a version of Living Bomb or Call Lightning(different values) based on which buff you got, Prismatic Fire or Prismatic Lightning. This causes similar effects to the other mystic classes, but themed around the Prismaticist. If there is no active fire or lightning buff from Prismatic Sphere, this ability activates a regeneration spell on allies.
- "Prismatic Blast" ability that will cast fire or lightning based on the result rolled for Prismatic Sphere, doing damage to enemies. If there is no active fire or lightning buff, this activates a barrier-style spell on your allies on being hit.
- "Prismatic Burst" ability that will cast fire or lightning based on the resutl rolled for Prismatic Sphere, doing damage to enemies. If there is no active fire or lightning buff, this activates a reflect-style spell that does damage to enemies when you or your allies are hit.
- PvE versions of the above with enhanced potency.

- Prismaticist Shrine for picking the new class. It is currently not active in the journal while it is tested.
- Feats, icons, etc for the new class and one missing previous icon.
- Barbarian, Bladesinger, Eldritch Knight, Prismaticist, Pyromancer, and Stormsage should all gain attributes on each spawn. Some of them weren't gaining attributes _ever_. Woops.

Changes

- Deluge and Pyroclasm now both resolve their actual spellcasting instantly, but the effect still plays out over 5 seconds. This should let you immediately begin new spells while charging up.

Fixes

- Really, really, maybe, hopefully fixed all of the classes I've introduced so that they -always forever 100%- gain their class attributes on spawn. This effects every class from Eldritch Knight onward.
- Really, really, really gave Barbarian essence of prowess in the Barbarian RP feat.
- Deluge should now properly apply its effects to allies _and_ enemies every time its cast.
- Pyroclasm should apply Blazing Speed every time its cast.

Update: 27 Dec, 2023 @ 4:00am

4.9.0 is now live. I am satisified with the workings of Pyromancer. Need more data on Bladesinger and Barbarian, but I am satisfied that they are workable enough to at least from "in testing" category. There shouldn't be any major changes to any of these classes, but it's possible damage values and such will receive further tweaks. More interestingly, this update has the reworks for Druid and Magus(Formerly Magi). With this released, my intention is monitor the balance of these things while working on the other class in the works, a caster that has a form of "wild" magic.

This update contains the following:

New

Druid Rework:
- New water based spell called Deluge for the druid rework. Deluge may or may not properly acquire targets on a live server. We shall see.
- Lightning Circle has returned to druid under the name Storm Circle. Druid now want to open PvP with Root > Deluge > Storm Circle > Wildfire Circle for optimal damages.
- Storm Circle PvE version.
- New Wildfire Circle, dealing bonus damage to targets hit by Storm Circle. This is now a direct damage spell.
- New Wildfire Circle PvE version.
- New "Entangling Roots" AoE root spell for Druid rework
- Wildfire Cone is gone from the new Druid spell list.

The above completes the Druid rework, turning them away from being an oppressive DoT caster to a supportive caster with a damage combo in PvP and PvE that should primarily provide group support via healing. The old druid kit is still available to administrators under the feat "Fecund" 8990035.

Magus(formerly Magi) Rework:
- "Frozen" effect for Magus. Landing Hoarfrost Cone and Hoarfrost Circle back-to-back will freeze your target, rooting them for 2 seconds - or until they take damage.
- "Frostfire DoT" effect for Magus. Causing the "Frozen" effect and breaking it with Arcane Fire Cone will apply a Frostfire DoT effect onto your target.
- "Frostfire" effect for Magus. Landing Hoarfrost Circle before Arcane Fire Circle will cause Frostfire instant damage.
- All PvE Magus spells now do direct damage and have reduced cooldown, only doing their DoT effect when cast in order of Frost > Fire.
- Magus no longer has access to Crippling Circle.
- All "Magi" spells are available under a new "Magi" feat, 8995025.

- Icons for everything referenced above that needed one.
- New Prismatic Bomb spell for testing for the prism caster.

Changes

- Purple Boss Missile is now a little more forgiving in how much corruption it applies, and for how long you gain corruption.
- Quicksilver icon replaced with something that looks less like sloughing fluid.
- Endure Elements added to Stormsage and Bard RP spells.
- Reworked the Pyromancer missile entirely because it was ornery. It should be larger and do a little more damage.

Fixes

- Fixed Enraged Grasp crippling the user.
- Fixed anti-flight caster with bleed and anti-fly, anti-climb, and anti-swim so that they should properly apply their effects on a live server.
- Bladesong (PvE) now crafts Bladesong (PvE) instead of Living Bomb.
- Added Essence of Prowess to Barbarian RP feat.
- Identified a missing connection in assigning base game attributes to the new classes and tried to fix it. Hopefully all of the new classes will now properly gain their attributes on a live server even after death.
- Tried readding the "Spell" tag to all spell items so they are properly consumed on class reset.
- Ensured that Pyromancer spells keep their scaling even on large targets rather than becoming enormous.
- Did the same for Call Lightning.

Testing

- Flight spell that is in testing. It is called "Flight" and available as an item, or you can give it out with a recipe. It -should- work on a live server and cause you to grant flight to anyone around you for 2 minutes.
- Spell version of Fairy State to remove the need for an item. It's not ready for public use, but it exists. Still struggling with this, but trying different logic with this.
- Spell version of "Fairy Flight" with no animation and no cast time. This is not ready for use as it's very buggy.

Update: 25 Dec, 2023 @ 6:28pm

4.8.2 is now live.

This update contains the following:

New

- Updated more icons for things like Barbarian.
- Added a new anti-flight, anti-climb, anti-swim item. It poisons swimmers which prevents casting while in the water.
- Five new Warrior-subclass shrines for Barbarian, Bladesinger, Fighter, Paladin, and Ranger.

Changes

- Decided to make missiles from mystics not damage building structures because of the Pyromancer bug mentioned below and all the awkward times I accidentally destroyed someone's decor with an errant missile blast. These were never intended to be raiding tools, anyways, and who can say if this will even work on a live server. It works in the fake devkit one!
- Renamed lingering "faith" things to cleric to reflect the updated class name.
- Renamed lingering "fecund" things to druid to reflect the updated class name.
- Increased the base damage of the Orichalcum and Mithril glaives by 11.

Fixes

- The new classes should now properly have their spells eaten from their inventories when a reset is done. If one isn't being eaten, please let me know exactly what items aren't being consumed so I can investigate further. Some tags were missing that I replaced.
- Fixed a case where decor items for some reason would take 30,000 damage from the Pyromancer missile.
- Removed some references to unused essences and updated them to mention the proper ones.
- Removed some references to unused classes.
- Fixed a typo in the debuff for the Pyroclasm spell.

Testing

- Flight spell that is in testing. It is called "Flight" and available as an item, or you can give it out with a recipe. It -should- work on a live server and cause you to grant flight to anyone around you for 2 minutes.
- Spell version of Fairy State to remove the need for an item. It's not ready for public use, but it exists. Still struggling with this, but trying different logic with this.
- Spell version of "Fairy Flight" with no animation and no cast time. This is not ready for use as it's very buggy.
- Sword Dance cone ability for Bladesinger, an upcoming subclass of Warrior.
- Bladesong circle ability for Bladesinger.
- Resonance ability for the Bladesinger.
- Warsong of the Bladesinger ability for Bladesinger.
- Pyromancer subclass of mystic available for testing.
- Living Bomb spell for Pyromancer.
- Pyroclasm spell for Pyromancer.
- Firestarter spell for Pyromancer.
- Enkindle spell for Pyromancer.
- Living Bomb PvE spell for Pyromancer.
- Enkindle PvE spell for Pyromancer.
- Enrage ability for Barbarian.
- Enraged Regeneration ability for Barbarian.
- Enraged Grasp ability for Barbarian.
