Version 8

  • Fix for climate penalties in mountains, savannah, desert and ocean regions. Regions of those climates that are already occupied in ongoing campaigns still have those penalties until ownership changes. Newly acquired regions in current campaigns will not suffer from this.

  • Added optional settings to the Mod Configuration Menu. This consists of a setting for deleting the starting Hidden Trickster Cult and the starting amount of Trickster Cultist resource points.
  • Changed the technologies that increase Lord and Hero recruit rank to apply their effect to those recruited in settlements instead of Hidden Trickster Cults.

  • Fix for starting Hidden Trickster Cult not getting removed that broke in the last version.

Version 5

  • Removed startpos.esf which means the mod is now compatible with other startpos mods. However, if used together with MIXER the start quest will not work correctly and call for a Hidden Trickster Cult instead of a city. A fix for this is underway. The ai shouldn't be affected by this, since it doesn't use missions anyway.

Version 4

  • The mission for Aekold Helbrass now requires the city version of the Chapterhouse of Knowledge instead of the Hidden Trickster Cult variant. Quests started before this phase might still require the Hidden Trickster Cult variant of the building.
  • The mission for the Blue Scribes now requires the city version of the Cult of Change instead of the Hidden Trickster Cult variant. Quests started before this phase might still require the Hidden Trickster Cult variant of the building.

  • The Deceivers no longer receive a starting Trickster Cultist at the beginning of a new campaign.
  • The Deceivers' starting quest no longer requires a Hidden Trickster Cult to be established, but the occupation of the target city instead.

  • The Deceivers faction will get destroyed, if he has no armies and cities, but only Hidden Trickster Cults left.
  • Refunds a Trickster Cultist resource when the Deceivers occupies a settlement with a Hidden Trickster Cult in it.
  • Removed starting Hidden Trickster Cult and adds one Trickster Cultist resource.

Initial upload

  • The Deceivers can occupy settlements with regular cities, the same as the Oracles of Tzeentch and other Tzeentch factions.
  • Hidden Trickster Cults require Trickster Cultist resources which are gained through the same means as before: Completing certain Schemes.
  • Hidden Trickster Cults no longer spread passively with certain buildings.
