Hotfix 2.1a

  • Hopefully fixed the US defender AI not having breeds to use in campaigns
  • Added Flammpanzer 38 (Note: WIP - the loader/radioman is currently classed as a "passenger" for some reason
  • Changed the earlywar LW sicherungs squad to LW Wachbataillon Squad. These troops are from the Regiment General Goering c.1939.
  • New Ostlegionaere uniforms

Major Update v2.1

  • I have introduced tank sections and tank troops for the AI. The AI will now send in groups of tanks and other vehicles that will move and fight (sort of) together. The AI isn't too smart about how it uses these groups, but it's at least more realistic than only having single tanks drip-feeding into battle.
  • I have added some towed weapons for the AI. The AI currently isn't very good at using these, so this may only be a temporary experiment.
  • I have changed the speed at which the AI buys units. Instead of units trickling into battle at a slow, constant pace, you will be faced by bigger waves of units at the start of levels. This should make defensive missions less of a boring slog and more of a desperate rush to survive.

  • I am starting to add more 'historic' squads. This time, Soviet early-war Rifle squads. These guys play very differently to most as they depend heavily on their Dyakonov grenade launchers for extra firepower. The Grenade Launcher Squad in particular can be devastating against defending infantry in confined areas.

  • Much like the new game update, this mod update has lots of weird experimental features. Stuff will probably break, and some changes might be reversed depending on what players think.

  • As always, if you have crashes, post the last 4-5 lines of your game log when you let me know.

Minor Update v2.04
  • Drastically reduced defender AI snipers and rocket AT infantry (GER + USA)
  • Further reduced spawn chance of enemy AT and AA guns in favour of infantry, tanks and other vehicles
  • Added T-37A (ShKAS) for USSR

  • Fixed Vanilla 101stAB Squad not having CP/MP cost because of a stupid copying error
  • Fixed irregularity in bazooka team MP cost caused by a duplicate line in one of the files

  • Added a single comma to line 84 of conquest.usa.lua after reported crashes -- it remains to be seen if this will fix the error.
  • Fixed spelling and inconsistent capitalisation of German infantry squads
  • Added latewar Brandenburgers (The files were mostly there, I just forgot last time)

  • Added a bunch of new US squads including squads previously unseen in GOH -- 3rd Infantry, 41st Infantry Regt, 2nd Rangers, Platoon HQs and more!
  • Fixed German AI defenders being armed with Panzerfausts from day 1
