  • Fixed some of the Improvise grenade perks not working after certain research is unlocked.

  • Fixed an issue with the Cannonade perk not giving extra grenades on mecs that take "free grenade" abilities.

  • The Fastball perk now works properly with mecs for grenades. Note that it does not apply to rockets, only grenades.
  • Mec Skirmisher has Battlelord at the top of the bottom row instead of Disabling Shot.
  • Mec Reaper has Lethal swapped for Alpha Mike Foxtrot, since Lethal was just worse than Heavy Hitter.
  • Added a 7 day flat surgery time for all mecs, so that meccing a squaddie that got gravely wounded isn't just a complete wound timer negation.
  • Carryover hack stat is now capped at 100.

  • Gene Modded soldiers can now no longer be mecced by default. There's a config switch to re-enable this.
  • Shield Wall can now be used with Momentum AP (for Mec Templar).

  • Added off by default ability to add a special item cost to making the mecs
  • Mec Hellion: Quickburn moved to T3 XCOM deck, Burning Rush moved up to TSGT, Fulmination added to SSGT, Pressure Blast moved to T2 XCOM deck.
  • Mec Assault: Unload swapped for Chain Shot (more crit synergy with rest of the tree), ZOC moved to T2 XCOM deck, Protect And Serve moved to CPL, Shield Training added at LCPL.
  • Fixed Combat Drugs and Combat Stims effects not being applied to the smoke from Shrouded Bulwark for Mec Protector.

  • Classes that can equip Grenade Launchers can now be made into Mec Heavies.
  • Added 4 HP stat growth to all mec classes as a follow-up to the LWOTC changes.

More balance changes:

  • All mecs base HP reduced to 10 and defense reduced to 20 to match the SPARK changes in LWOTC 1.2.
  • Mec Augmentation cost changed to 80 supplies, 50 meld, 5 alloys, 5 elerium, and 1 core. Increase the cost to better match the power level.
  • Hero classes now have an additional 10 day base time added to their augmentation, since they are powerful and meccing them shouldn't just be free wound reduction.

  • Mec Assault: Updated bottom tree: Raging Bull changed to Shield Training, Advanced Fire Control changed to En Garde. This changes the bottom row to offer a shield secondary weapon option while still having the guaranteed stun combo thanks to En Garde.
  • Mec Protector: Fixed missing XCOM row perk.
  • Mec Skirmisher: Undid the previous tree changes, Marauder is back in at squaddie and Hit and Run is back at SSGT.
  • Mec Templar: Mec Templar Shield removed from squaddie, Shield Training added at squaddie instead. Top row: Counterstrike removed and Zone Of Control moved down to CPL to take its place. Roaring Flames added at SGT to emphasize the reaction build using flamethrower and not spark rifle. Middle tree. Marionette Control removed and One Two Punch moved to LCPL. Phantasmal Killer moved to SSGT of middle row, Teleport moved to TSGT, and Thousands To Go added at MSGT. Bottom row: Adrenaline replaced with a new Squad Shield perk, provides all allies with 1/2/3 extra ablative based on armor tier. Pillar removed and Sustain moved down to CPL, and Might When Struck added at SGT of the bottom row instead. These changes should focus the top tree on the SPARK flamethrower, increase the strength of the middle tree, and shift the support to the bottom tree with perks such as Bastion, Solace Aura, and the new shield perk, making wound reduction come earlier in the tree, and providing a damage boost upon being attacked using Might When Struck.
