  • Reduced "Archslaughterer" attack speed increase from 33% to 17%.
  • Adjusted the cost of "World Eaters Captain" abilities.
  • Reworked "Avenger's Crown" to give units an additional turn instead of true death prevention.
  • Reduced the healing of "Avenger's Crown" to 33%.
  • Replaced "Fearless" on all units to a new trait reducing morale loss by 33%.
  • Corrected "Cultist Sacrifice" not working.

  • Made several changes to AI behaviour.

Previously World Eater units in the hands of the AI often stopped interacting with the game. They stopped moving and attacking enemy units standing right next to them. This issue continued to appear when the AI ran out of influence and units weren't able to use their abilities. The AIs influence generation has been modified as a fix. When on low influence AI units now also continue being able to use their abilities, but do so with an increased cooldown to compensate for the removed influence cost.

For human players nothing has changed this patch.

  • Fixed a gamebreaking bug regarding the "Daemon Prince of Khorne"
  • Corrected the armour penetration improvements through research of various weapons.
  • Fixed "Raptors" and "Warptalons" not dealing damage to flying targets.
  • Fixed the "Bleed" trait of "Bloodletters" to actually inflict "Bleeding".
  • Fixed "Veil of Carnage" not providing Overwatch prevention.
  • Increased influence gain through combat.
  • Reduced the cost of various abilities.
  • Improved "Overshadowed by None" now grants less armour penetration, but an additional damage increase.
  • Improved the AIs performance with the "World Eaters".

    So far the World Eaters felt rather underwhelming and abilities couldn't be used as freely as I wished. With the increased influence gain that issue is now lessened. The reduced ability cost mainly concerns "Vessel of Wrath", a trait that increases the power and cost of many other active abilities. Their power hasn't been changed, but the cost increase has been reduced.

    Previously the AI was actively harming itself when playing the World Eaters. The AI has gained changes to its behaviour as well as Buffs and Traits not available to human players. They are now much more powerful in the hands of the AI.
