General
  • Buffs in damage or Soul cost in many cards
Forgotten Light, Infected Strike, Channeled Beam
  • 1 point Infection buff
Void Lash, Infected Wall, Infection Outbreak
  • Reworked.
Pogo Strike, Spike Wall
  • Removed.
New common cards
  • Battle Cry : Clone of Ironclad's Warcry.
  • Nail Pogo : Clone of Ironclad's Havoc. Note: Cards cost 0 Soul when played.
New relics
  • Glowing Womb (uncommon) : You are always considered to have Infection. Whenever you apply Infection to an enemy, apply 1 additional Infection.
  • Tyrant's Soul (boss) : The first time you use Soul each turn, gain 1 energy and draw 1 card. Start each combat with Overloaded Focus (Whenever you draw a card that costs Soul, randomize its Soul cost.).

Gameplay Changes
  • Added SFX for event options
  • Cards that gets auto-played from Havoc/Mayhem-like effects no longer costs Soul
  • Cards from potions or Discovery no longer costs Soul for the current turn until played

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed Soul Blade showing damage at 0 Soul in your hand
  • Fixed Empower not consuming Free Soul Cost buff (from Well Prepared)
  • Fixed Silent's Quick Slash not getting buffed by Mantis Training

Soul
  • You can now gain Soul even on blocked damage
  • No more run-ending snake plants and baseballs in act 2. Yay!
New card: Energizing Torrent (Replacing Light Orb)
  • Unplayable Skill. When you use Soul, discard this card and gain 2(3) Energy.
Block cards
  • Buffs for Acid Armor, Conjure Shield, Soul Shield, Well Prepared and No Mind To Think
Infection balance
  • Forgotten Light and Channeled Beam reworked to apply multiple instances of Infection
  • Corrupted Nail upgrade now loses Ethereal and no longer applies +1 Infection
X-cost cards
  • Empower and Spirit Barrage now uses "X" to show Soul cost, and are affected by Chemical X
  • Radiance Implosion reworked as a 1-cost Catalyst attack "clone"

Gameplay Changes
  • Cards now flash briefly when Ethereal is added to them
  • Custom SFX (from Hollow Knight) added for multiple cards
  • Blunt Strike now glows yellow if a target eligible for triple damage is present
  • Custom relics will also show additional stats if you have the Relic Stats mod installed

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed drawn Ethereal cards exhausting immediately from Void Embrace + Ethereal Burns/Pains at the end of the turn
  • Fixed Quickcast power description not updating after each use

Balance Changes
Infection
  • Damage can now be blocked. Does not trigger on-attack effects such as Thorns or Corrupted Nail, nor trigger passive Soul gain.
Channeled Beam
  • Reworked to Skill. Rarity unchanged (uncommon).
  • New effect: Removes all your infection. Apply lost Infection to ALL enemies. Exhaust.
  • Credit: Idea suggested by @Deadeye.
Radiant Burst
  • You now also gain 2 Infection on use. Infection applied to enemies 4(7) → 6(9).
No Cost Too Great
  • Self infection 2 → 4.
Infected Wall
  • No longer grants Metallicize.
  • Now gives Block next turn equal to your current Infection stacks.
Well Prepared
  • Rarity common > uncommon.
  • 7(11) → 5(8) Block.
  • +1 draw next turn → next Soul cost becomes free.
Dream No More
  • Energy cost 1 → 2.
Dash Slash
  • AOE damage 13(15) → 11(15).
  • No longer draws card during current turn. Draws 2 cards next turn instead.
Mapping
  • Energy cost 0 → 1.

Desolate Dive
  • Soul cost 3 → 2.

Heavy Blow, Twin Strike, Spell Twister
  • Removed.

Blighted Slash (New common attack)
  • 1 energy. Deals 7(10) damage. If you or the enemy has Infection, deal 7(10) damage again.
  • Affected by Mantis Training.

Soul Boomerang (New uncommon attack)
  • 0 energy. Spell, Soul cost 2.
  • Deal 4(6) damage twice. Shuffles into your draw pile.

Radiant Ward (New uncommon skill)
  • 1 energy.
  • Gain 15(20) Block. Next turn, gain 2 Infection.

King's Brand
  • Maximum Infection damage cap 2 → 8.

Shaman Stone
  • Rarity Rare → Shop (150 gold).

Spell Twister (New? rare relic)
  • Whenever you play a Spell, gain 1 Soul.

Gameplay Changes
  • Updated Soul Blade animation
  • Updated Light Orb art (to be more in-line with other spells)
  • Updated Mantis Training power description to be consistent with accuracy
  • Radiance Implosion now shows calculated damage when hovered over enemies
