Sid Meier's Civilization VII

Players Slots per Hemisphere Picker
Showing 1-10 of 16 entries
< 1  2 >
Update: 2 Aug @ 12:33am

Added 3+1 option which was missing from Tiny

Update: 26 Jul @ 9:02pm

Added Player Slots per Hemisphere to the Setup Screen so you don't have to go into Advanced Settings.

Auto-hide inputs when an invalid setup is selected:

Balanced Mode on any custom maps.
Any custom map sizes.

Update: 25 Jul @ 2:17am

Added validation to the mod - it will now alert "Unsupported!" in the following situations:

Balanced Starts are now limited to the default map options only.
This is because most of the Landmass Split combinations are not supported in the base game and my mod has to curate these. Custom maps will override these changes meaning I can't predict/control their behavior.

Update: 24 Jul @ 5:27pm

Added affected save protection

Update: 23 Jul @ 11:38pm

Added support for Balanced Starts

Update: 22 Jul @ 9:26pm

Updated to align with 1.2.3 patch.
I have had to temporarily remove the ability to spawn on the Hemisphere with less slots. This is due to changes in the map code.

I have added "Semi-Random" and "Full-Random" options.

Update: 18 Jul @ 9:11pm

Modern advanced starts now split correctly.

Removed redundant options and "1" options (these are buggy anyways).
The base game preferences the Landmass with more players, I've changed this to Random (may further refine this later to allow more control by the user).

Update: 18 Jul @ 5:47am

Added a new option "Random" which randomly chooses how many players on each Hemisphere.

This is "semi-random" to avoid the more extreme cases.

Tiny can range from 1-3 per hemisphere.
Small can range from 2-4 per hemisphere.
Standard can range from 2-6 per hemisphere.
Large can range from 3-7 per hemisphere.
Huge can range from 3-7 per hemisphere.

Added map scripting to the base map types so you don't get forced onto the landmass with the most Civs. (So for example now you can be on the 3-Civ hemisphere in a 5+3 game).

Update: 17 Jul @ 9:52pm

Overhauled the code to be more accomodating of custom maps.

Now all maps types are supported.

Most map sizes are supported (any that has default players set to 4, 6, 8 or 10). I can add more as necessary / on request.
