why is there even a guy in the womens bathroom
Thank you for the information. It's a shame that track wasn't used elsewhere, it's a beautiful piece of music. It really fits the feel of the Black Mesa incident. I liked the other track that was used in the battle with your team vs the HECU.
Overall the mod is amazing! I really enjoy having teammates help you fight the enemies. I wish they could have stuck with you until the end though but otherwise the mod is Great!
Also the turret guns being friendly was a great idea!
you kill the first two HECU soldiers and the "Gordon, all science personnel will be terminated until you surrender" announcement starts.
Please make more :)
So yeah I can only encourage the author to expend this map with another one bt like everyone the fan puzzle could be made in a way that is more easy to understand and get plus the ending was indeed anti-climatic.
Also I loved the friendly turrets and the physic of the broken glass. So yeah really keep going ;)
I had asked, at the time, if Nielson would be okay with me releasing this map with his old music. (These music are not finished product of his, but was a prototype he had at the time.) He has gladly given me permission for it.
That must be around 2016, already, and now, I don't even remember if that music really is by Nielson or some other unknown person.
The music file included in this map is a bit modified version, and thus has a difference and also a loss of quality from the original track.
I may update this addon later when I have time so that all the music has a higher quality in general in this map.
If I can provide some constructive criticism, I feel that there may have been too much health and armour supplies in some sections, the final bullsquid that spawned came out of thin air with no way of having gotten there, and the final vent section has a visible dead end before the black-screen.
Regardless, thanks for this awesome mod, I'll be replaying it for years! :D
Seems like the AI pathfinding got bugged after the 1.0 update, though. The scientists and guards seem to love charging right into the marines. (This is the marine/alien ambush that occurs before the player encounters one soldier getting killed by headcrabs in a locked room.)
Thanks. I re-played your map start to finish. Congratulations, this was one of the best BM Maps I've ever played. Please continue expanding. I would love to see more of the Sector E Biodome Complex facilities and enclosures.
Regards
Thank you for your feedback for the map!
Players are supposed to travel back to where they came from to shut down the vent. There is a lever that will deactivate it in the maintenance area.
I do realise that the player guidance in this part of the map was poorly built. Of course, not everything can be perfect from the first time,. That is why I continue to support and update my mods. Hopefully, if I ever make another map, this mistake won't be done again.
You were almost done with the map by that part anyway; once you had deactivated it, you would have gotten some assassins (Black Ops) spawn in, and go back to the area with hound eye vents, you are able to proceed and the map will end there.
Great map so far, but I unfortunately hit a glitch. After the place where you destroy the Xenian sentry turret, you go into an office and into a red-lit vent. On the other side is that area with the Houndeyes and the water pouring from the pipe. Once in this area, I cannot proceed further. I'm stuck in some "force field". Also, the game starts playing the noises of the metal footsteps but you can't move...?
Please assist.
Yes, it was my most ambitious and the biggest project. I do not have any regrets, thought I would like to change a few things.
I hope to update the map to the current version so people can play it without the hassle of rolling back.
