what setting would i look for?
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 15 Eyl 2023 @ 22:58
Been a long time I don’t really mod this game anymore but I believe Engine.ini
Skitter 7 Eyl 2023 @ 15:19
alright, which ini file would that be?
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 5 Eyl 2023 @ 20:28
there is a limit, it can be altered via ini if I recall
Skitter 5 Eyl 2023 @ 16:02
huh, that's weird. i notice that they tend to disappear during intense situations
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 5 Eyl 2023 @ 15:58
bloodstains are permanent unmodded, this mod doesn't effect them
Skitter 5 Eyl 2023 @ 15:55
Does not appear to make bloodstains permanent. WHERE'S THE CARNAGE?
Airlock 31 May 2023 @ 22:16
so not about the airgun?
zin 26 Nis 2023 @ 14:17
Just a note to anyone who wants more fps: disable this mod. Even with Fix Impact FX, it still ‘impacts’ your frame rate pretty heavily. My game is a lot smoother when playing without this mod. Don’t get me wrong, the mod is great, but if you have frame rate problems, which are common if using a lot of mods, try disabling this mod along with Fix Impact FX.

(And if you use this mod or its ‘Lite’ version at all, you should 100% use Fix Impact FX.)
zin 28 Mar 2023 @ 18:32
My game often crashes when shooting with beam or plasma weapons. Could this mod be the cause?
Dęąth Viper 19 Eki 2022 @ 12:35
Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 13 Haz 2022 @ 22:31
potentially, add me on Steam we can discuss
Kyrox 13 Haz 2022 @ 2:31
Would you take a comission to add that feature?
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 12 Haz 2022 @ 12:26
it does not unfortunately
Kyrox 11 Haz 2022 @ 19:30
Does this also keep the bullet casings from fired weapons on the ground? I loved that mod for Vanilla Xcom 2.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 28 Ara 2021 @ 6:24
sorta, but in X2 it runs on the CPU for some reason so its not GPU dependent
Mockingcrow 27 Ara 2021 @ 21:10
Is this anything like the "Nvidia Flex" tech that was crashing Fallout 4 for new RTX gpus?

Shuffling through all of my old mods and removing anything deprecated or may crash and noticed this, after I just went through this ordeal on F4.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 21 Ara 2021 @ 6:11
Without the alterations and improvements the mod wouldn’t exist
Riekopo 21 Ara 2021 @ 1:01
Is there a version without the alterations/improvements? Did Firaxis disable PhysX at some point?
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 1 Eki 2021 @ 16:44
I do not intend to modify these projects in any way
BottomScorer 1 Eki 2021 @ 14:19
Please add new Steam tag "War of the Chosen" here.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 29 Eyl 2021 @ 9:36
Glad to hear it !
Olof Plays 29 Eyl 2021 @ 9:08
Love this mod, can't play without it.
Feodal 28 Eyl 2021 @ 8:33
Great mod! But I have it devouring FPS from 120 to 60 Fps ((so I can't use it.
Shadowmio 27 Eyl 2021 @ 7:59
TOP !!!
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 5 Eyl 2021 @ 6:31
I mean that’s not some official list that’s literally just some users recommended
Jess 4 Eyl 2021 @ 22:25
Excellent this mod is essential, i was just making sure as it was not on the list of recommended mods.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 4 Eyl 2021 @ 14:30
No of course not
Jess 2 Eyl 2021 @ 6:16
Does this have any issues with LWOTC?
Darklord Morius 28 Ağu 2021 @ 18:56
@ Vortex ♀ Pixalation, sorry about the confusion! You mod is superb and I'm having a blast using it! Never the battlefield was so full of sooth and destruction! Thanks for this mod!
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 28 Ağu 2021 @ 16:38
I’m very confused nothing I wrote was super improper or anything, I am struggling to understand the confusion
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 28 Ağu 2021 @ 16:37
Not really accurate, the mod restores cut PhysX particles and makes the bullet holes persist along side the particles, without this mod there are zero PhysX particles present and the holes last 30 seconds
Darklord Morius 27 Ağu 2021 @ 5:53
@Snip3s, bullets holes, blood splatter and rubble persists instead of disappear.

Without this mod, some bullet holes, blood splatter, explosion sooth and ruble disappear a turn or so after it's appearance. With this mod they persist for the full extension of the mission (up to a point to avoid performance drop).

Rewritten for more clarity.

Snip3s 24 Ağu 2021 @ 20:59
Dont worry, I didn't understand what you meant by any of the following

Disabled Impact PhysX Particles have been restored and now properly spawn

-Some Re-enabled PhysX particles have been improved upon, and more changes are soon to come

-All PhysX particles last forever however, there is a global limit to prevent performance drops

-Decals from weapon impacts have been improved upon and made persistent

-All Decals last forever however, there is a global limit to prevent performance drops

The features threw me off, and as such it confused me, I am better at English then anything else. being an Author.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 24 Ağu 2021 @ 19:24
which part of the description is confusing you friend, I am trying to help
Snip3s 24 Ağu 2021 @ 19:07
the pictures mainly because i can already see bullet and blood splatter cant say I have noticed them that differently though I havn't used this mod yet. Thank you I am sorry to have annoyed you.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 24 Ağu 2021 @ 9:58
Its just bullet points...I don't know how to simplify it :( what part is confusing you
Snip3s 23 Ağu 2021 @ 18:32
Yeah im just not that smart so I was hoping you could simply state what it does I dont need elaborate descriptions.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 23 Ağu 2021 @ 9:19
the description outlines what it does, as do the screen shots, it has literally nothing to do with blood stains
Snip3s 21 Ağu 2021 @ 19:02
Does it just add bullet holes and blood stains?
Snip3s 21 Ağu 2021 @ 19:01
Simply Explained what does this mod Add
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 14 Ağu 2021 @ 20:14
I really don't know why you'd bother deleting that even if there are no ill effects its so tiny
Anakameron 3 Haz 2021 @ 19:06
Can I safely delete PersistentImpacts_ModShaderCache.upk? I was recently made aware that in most cases these files are incorrectly stored at a much larger file size (should be 1kb, but this one is 313kb). The lite version's file is 1kb, I could probably use that but my machine is more than beefy enough to run at max settings.
Iridar 6 May 2021 @ 23:41
This mod has some issues that are fixed by this mod, so they should always be used together:

Vortex ♀ Pixalation is aware, but did not want to do anything about it at this time, as is their right.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 27 Kas 2020 @ 19:20
glad you got it working
Gibbon 27 Kas 2020 @ 18:11
Hey man ignore me. The impact marks do work and do persist, and it continues to work with all the other ragdoll stuff enabled too. So it was some kind of advent weapon whose impacts didn't persist, but since it was in the tutorial it may have been a component that only exists in the tutorial level.
Gibbon 27 Kas 2020 @ 17:36
Referring to impacts from any weapon on any surface. There is one conflicting content file from https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1124064427 (Missing Packages Fix + Resource - FX_PassThru_Squibs.upk). Could that cause trouble?

I'l tryl disabling the ragdoll mods and just use this one - see if that changes anything.
Vortex ♀ Pixalation  [yaratıcı] 27 Kas 2020 @ 13:13
they have a limit, and are you referring to plasma, because only the plasma effect fades, the scorch doesn't
Gibbon 27 Kas 2020 @ 13:10
I'm not seeing the persistent weapon impact decals; they still just fade out after a set period of time. In wotc campaign with "[WOTC] Enhanced Ragdoll Physics and FX" also intalled, and the recommended mod linked from that mod's description. All the deps are also installed. Is there anything special I need to do?
aegis 27 Tem 2020 @ 20:53
i guess that make sense. its really unfortunate since wotc is almost perfect in all other areas
