I currently use the Community Patch Mod, and disabling it allows for Blood and Gore to be enabled, note that enabling the mod doesnt disable blood in the game, but it removes the blood splatters from the kill animations.
hope that was clear.
in the end, I dont see myself playing rome 2 without ur community mod, so I will wait patiently for a fix.
Do you know why they kept the animations in to seperate packs, some of them double, instead one pack like in attila?
Seeing that data_rome2 has less files and only the meta files, I assume that the animations come from the data.pack and stuff like blood/decapitations from data_rome2.
The animations which don't have an according meta file in data_rome2 would have to use the old meta file in data.pack, which is seems to cause them to not work.
If you remove all most all animations from data_rome2 except 1 for each category, suddenly the not blood animations from data.pack kick in, and the remaining animations from data_rome2 are still displayed with blood, but occur only very rarely.
Attila animations can't be modded in because Attila uses a seperate sound file.
