I mean, this mod wasn't updated in the last two years, and the author seems to be MIA. Chances are this mod's dead, until someone wants to take up the mantle.

Your mod is causing a crash in the game, so you should update the game version 2.7.2. If you want to know what leads to the crash, then give me your email so that I can send you the crash file, to mine: charlieschien34@yahoo.de

Any news with this? I know Stellaris is basically a completely different game now than when this mod was created, but I'd like this to come back!

@frederic_wagner, my difficulty with the finished ringworld is that the fallen empire buildings don't really exist in the same state as before. I was thinking I'd need to make new buildings, or maybe if I get a chance go through the ZoFE mod and use those buildings.

@MalevolentFiber, thanks I'll have to do some research into that. Not sure if its something I can do, but it'd be pretty cool.

@Sauron's Bro, yeah the one I'm really stuck with is the Finished Ringworld idea. I have to recode everything though anyway, but I don't know what to do with the Fallen Empire buildings.

Maybe something simple like have each planet have 10-15 of a specific strategic resource.

@cbshing You should make the system have its own appearance on the map. Trinary star systems show up as 3 stars on the map, binary for 2, etc. This one should be a black hole with 4 stars around it, like the system.

@Sauron's Bro, apologies, I'm pretty far behind in my mod schedule. I've been thinking about how to remake this one and don't have a good idea yet. Any suggestions? I could put all the megastructures together, but I don't know what to put on the planets.

@Aeoxander, Harlock77, @XenoSphere, yes hopefully before the new years. With the holidays coming up I've been a bit busy with holiday stuff. With modding, I've been focusing on getting some other civics back into Origins Civics, but I'm hoping to have a few more hours next week to look into how to fix this mod.

If I have time, hopefully later in the week. I'm working on updating the different start system mods right now and circling back to Origins Civics. This is the most complicated of start system mods I have.

thank you for the consideration. Also this bothered me for a while until i figured it out: when your mod is enabled, if i dont use one of your starting systems, the infinity machine will not spawn.

@no, no promises, but I can give it a try. I have two mod updates I’m working on first, one a new mod to replace presapient traits and unlock more vanilla traits and two an update to Origins Civics. When I clear at least one of them i can try to make it:

@shin.lifariz, I'll add this to the next update. I replaced the entire Infinity Machine event and will upload that code soon.

@xnadu27, not quite sure why that happened. It's one of the last 3 buildings to be placed and its created via an event. It could be some tile interference (requires no existing building or blocker on that tile).

@outomaton/オートマトン , I'm not sure what can be a conflict either. Give it a try after this update where the Infinity Machine code has been replaced.

bug fix
when infinity machine event enters the black hole & change name Pantagruel, not change name& black hole not change size & spwan resouces.
whoever, i use other mods & I do not know how to reproduce this event...

Omega Alignment didn’t spawn on homeworld? Is it supposed to be random, because I cannot build it either.

Err, just replacing the

limit = is_a_star

to

limit = { is_planet_class = pc_black_hole}

and setting the planet size change to a real number instead of -30 (I recommend 5 to 7) on the Pantagruel option is enough to fix the Pantagruel event. I know, I fixed it myself.

Disclaimer: Ruined Ringworld is considered a station for some reason, blocking access to the blackhole for a research station.

@xnadu27, well it is something I fixed with Dyson Engineers so I’d take a quick break from that I can patch this one.

@shin.lifariz, thanks for letting me know. I think the bug existed even before I added the other suns in the system. I have to rewrite the Infinity Machine code to fix it and since it’s been a daunting task I haven’t got around to it yet. Thanks!

Pantagruel update: I've found that the freeze is basically caused by a vanilla bug combined with multiple stars in the system...

Nvm the gateway thing is a vanilla bug.

@xnadu27, I’m sure it won’t work with many mods. If I can get some time I can see if I can patch it. For the gateway, I think I will do something similar to what I did for Dyson Engineers, where a gate unlocks. At the time when I made this update I hadn’t played to the point I can use gates, so I didn’t understand how the gateway works. Hopefully I can do an update this week, it depends on my schedule.

Also, despite being able to build gateways and the game registering them as mine and having built a few, I cannot go through any gateways, as the game states I have not discovered them yet. Maybe if you put the gateway in an adjacent system it would work?

I am unable to get Unity Ambitions with this mod. Probably something to do with giving the Ascension Theory tech at start.

@xnadu27, it would depend on what the on_action order is between mods, but since every tile is occupied on the Voidborne civic I expect no Horizon Signal buildings will spawn.

@xnadu27, I think the game would break if you use this mod and Dyson Engineers civic at the same time. Dyson Engineers searches for a star to spawn a new Dyson Sphere around, of which there are 5 in this mod.

The Infinity Machine might do something since it uses the base game code. The other ones are custom designed for this system.

What happens if I attack the guardians of the ring? I could defeat them with my fleet strength, but will it give me anything or even register as a guardian?

@shin.lifariz, I updated the mod yesterday for the graphics fix. Hopefully that works. I think the Pantagruel is still a bug left over from 1.9 (before I overhauled the mod). I think I will have to rewrite all of the Infinity Machine events to get it to work.

Update: I'm not totally sure what to do... When I get the Pentagruel result from the Infinity Machine (MRBX Ruins), the game just freezes up. I'm not really sure how to read the error log either...
