it was probably because i was carring something that wasnt ment to be carried. its not that bad though i tend to role with it as role play sometimes

Sorry for taking so long to respond.
No there is no self-destruct.
I'm usually not too fond at putting self destruct sequences in ships for I could use that space for more important equipment.
I am unsure why you are having this kind of problem. I'm going to assume there is a bug with SE once agian.

i have run into a problem, somtimes when im flying the ship it will explode on me. is that like a self destruct or somthing?

Oh, have you thought about a second set of merge blocks? i was thinking about using this set but being able to land i on a larger carrier/support ship. maybe something on the dropship that could rotate and extend to merge/dock with the carrier. i might tinker with it.

thinking of making a shaft miner rover that coupld be incorporated also. but this set is so well done, i dont want to mess it up. lol

You line up the docking points on the rover to the docking point on the dropship. Activate / turn on the (mergeblocks/ landing gear or connectors) whichever one you wish to use. Then lower the ship (my key/button is C) onto the connections, make sure the rover has locked to the Dropship and then you can proceed to take off.
I would recommend checking your controls to see what key you’re down control are if yours isn’t C.

I love this one and its companion rover. I have one question tho. the video shows the ship activly moving downward to link up. i dont see a seperate thruster control to just move straight down. is there one?

all thrusters are on, rover can freely move, yet when connected, it struggles to lift

Also is the rover set as a station and not as a ship.(being set as a station means it is a static grid)

am i doing something wrong? i pasted this ship in, and it struggles to lift the rover, like, it wont move at all once it hooked to the rover.

Yes, it is. That script makes it to where you can get it rising at top speed, and It will keep it that way, even in gravity!

And, if/ when a V.2. Comes out, maybe it would be larger with the dore. However, just a thought!

Yes the door idea is interesting but with the structure of this ship it would compromise the survival rating of the ship with the loss of most of its hydrogen tanks. With lifting other rovers and other things, I've found that if you can get locked on, it can usually lift it.:steamhappy:
(The rover is easy for it to lift)

what would be cool was if it had a acces door in the floor, and the rover in the roof. Therefore, allowing you to go between them without a jetpack!

P.S. This drop ship could also be used with other types of rovers, with similar roofs! Though, it might need guns for a more combat orinted rover. However, just a though!

Also, this ship could work well with Better (Lack Of) Dapners Just a though!
