any way to add an option to auto-refab if the tech has been researched?

Thanks for the update.

Akarnod, you have a thread in this mod - AutoDemolishExtractorsHandler
That has a runaway race condition when a person without your mod loads a save with this mod originally in it.
Please add a conditional check to your on startup threads so that if the thread does not find it, like a local non-persistent variable, the thread exits.
The race condition bricks the game if you try and load that save otherwise.
Hit me up on the discord to discuss.

@BLÀde If they extend the same base class as the non-auto versions, then my mod should work for them. Otherwise, I don't know how. Maybe Silva could create a specific mod.

is it possible to make it compatible with silvas buildings like the auto rare metal and metel extractors?

Awesome, thanks.

@Emmote added option to stop demolishing once Nano refinement is researched.
akarnokd  [author] 1 Apr, 2018 @ 12:59pm
@Emmote I will think about it.
Emmote 1 Apr, 2018 @ 12:47pm
I know that when you hover over the remaining resources part of the extractor, it will say depleted, but it will just keep digging.
And it's very easy to forget you have a mod like this while playing, so an automated cut-off for that research would be very useful. Should be nothing more than nesting everything inside an IF checking if the research has been done or not.

If the extractor gets marked as depleted, this mod will clear it. I can't remember the effect of Nano Refinement, but I guess if you want to keep your extractors active after that, simply disable the demolish actions in the mod menu.
Emmote 1 Apr, 2018 @ 12:15pm
So with Nano Refinement, extractors never get marked as depleted? So, it does work with that breakthrough?
akarnokd  [author] 1 Apr, 2018 @ 12:13pm
@Emmote No, it checks for depleted extractors.
Emmote 1 Apr, 2018 @ 12:11pm
Does this mod take into account the "Nano Refinement" breakthrough which allows extractors to continue even when the deposit has been depleted?

works great now! thank you
jztemple 31 Mar, 2018 @ 10:44am
And I was able to construct a concrete extract while the mod was enable, active and concrete extractors set to demolish and there were no problems. I'd give you another thumbs up but they won't let me!
jztemple 31 Mar, 2018 @ 10:27am
Did this happen to the previous mod AutoDemolishConcreteExtractor?

Not in my recollection. Glad to hear that you have identified the culprit, I'll give it a test right now.
akarnokd  [author] 31 Mar, 2018 @ 9:34am
@admbraden Thanks. I think I figured out the mistake (i.e., what I did differently in this mod) and fixed it with the latest update.
McKaby 31 Mar, 2018 @ 9:28am
I have played with the previous mod and not had an issue, I haven't tried this one out yet.
MrChris 31 Mar, 2018 @ 3:24am
not to my knowlege, but hardly tested, only playd for a few hours before this was released.
akarnokd  [author] 31 Mar, 2018 @ 2:24am
@jztemple @Mr Chris Did this happen to the previous mod AutoDemolishConcreteExtractor?
MrChris 31 Mar, 2018 @ 2:17am
@jztemple this happends to me too, and yes only for the concrete extractors. and only when a small bitt of it is left, for example i mined out most of the concreet already and put down a new one next to the old.
akarnokd  [author] 31 Mar, 2018 @ 2:01am
@jztemple Does it happen to concrete extractors only? Maybe there is a small window in the vanilla scripts so that the extractor appears to be depleted before it scans for nearby deposits. I'll try to reporuce the issue and fix the mod.
MrChris 30 Mar, 2018 @ 11:14pm
Have the same problem @jztemple
jztemple 30 Mar, 2018 @ 8:34pm
Oops, I just had a problem. I had this mod active and enabled on a new colony via modconfig. As soon as a concrete extractor was built, it was demolished! I turned off the mod via modconfig and rebuilt the extractor, then let it run a little bit, then activated the mod and things were OK. Is there some possible problem with the mod?
jztemple 30 Mar, 2018 @ 6:39pm
Hmm, I seem to recall that there is a tech that allows extractors to continue extracting a small amount of resources even if the resource shows depleted. Folks might want to be aware of that so they don't lose an extractor that's still producing. Or does this mod take that into consideration?
MrChris 30 Mar, 2018 @ 12:46pm
Thank you for this!
