The mod is great, tell me about spawning? it need to wait some days to spawn all forms of stash-es? can it be set-uped to spawn even in Desert_dunes biomes?

Well, treasures are vanilla and not part of that mod, so it's something water mod might try to resolve - at least spawn it on surface :D

Have to say great job with this mod, I would prefer the map rate to be significantly less, and FYI alot of the treasure is under water if you have the water mod active ;p (so far I've not come across any treasure that wasn't underwater) otherwise LOVE IT

Love this mod! I don't think it's too rare or not rare enough. It's just perfect. Sometimes if my inventory is getting full, I'll just make a note of it and go back later to pick them up. Sometimes I don't make a note of them and just leave them there. No reason to change the frequency of finding them when you can just decide not to pick them up, lol

That's what I wish for, too. Like instead of trying to spread wild life randomly, create a POI-like spawner that assure presense of certain animals around, like wolf dens, deer feeding grounds, barb camps

Yeah we tried a few Values and it seem to spawn them per a biome for some reason..im still tinkering..but i will let you know if anything changes....
If we can control that part we can use the same system for POIS/Bandits/Animals...anything

So you also tried to play with numbers and noticed that? I guess env system is not ready for such scarse densities and tries to put more of them =/

They are not Rare at all.i can see 10 in one grid
i tried different Numbers but for somereason it still spawns them in masses

i think it should be left alone they are still rare to find and never find any hollow stumps and they never fill my inventory as well

This is one of my favorites and always close to the top of my list but I think they are still way too common to find and shoul be more rare. When exploring, I quickly fill my entire inventory with loot even set to 10X.

not enough hidden stashes now i like it when i found them i don't even find the tree stumps now i guess they was removed i rather have it like it was in fact i like it before the change

Hey! I was postponing this for too long. I reduced overall frequency 4 times, any further playtests are welcomed, I'm relying mostly on them, cuz I don't play much in survival currently :P

Just put this mod on server, and they are WAY to common. 10 mins running around forest and i collected about 20 of them... how can i reduce the frequency of them? make it more rare?

I'm not going to complain but "rare" isn't a thing in this mod. I enjoy the loot, makes going into the woods more enjoyable and lucrative when playing solo.

I feel its far to unbalanced, i filled my inventory in less than 5min.
Personally I would like it to be that if you walk randomly around you will find ONE every 3-5min and that what you can find is a higher span off how good the stuff is.

Yeah that one is driving me crazy, WhoManBean. There is absolutely nothing in the model itself that is any different than any of the other countless models I've made. I can't explain why it's tripping any exception, and I can only think that the exception itself is bugged. I'll keep looking!

There's two stump models with minor changes, but you sure that errors are not about LODs? Because it throws them on dev build and that's known issue of game itself

Love this mod... great addition to the game. I agree about the frequency a bit though. I found a dozen stashes across two areas.

Also our server logs show that there were multiple models for the stump that don't appear to be loading. I only see one in the images above... Are there different stump models in this mod?

Definitely should be less frequent. many maps after a couple hours of gameplay 4+ maps after I went on a brief gathering binge. Too bad the game is too unstable to enjoy this mod right now :p

Unfortunately not, since frequency is basically density of env items and it baked hard into procedural environments definitions. But as long as nobody said that it's too hard to find them, I feel like I can keep tweaking balance to make them less and less frequent

Great mod, but as stated before, these stashes are too easy to find in some biomes. It seems that the woods are filled with them. Mainly the dead bodies. Could you give us the option to adjust the chances to find these at world creation?

Hi Leonser. I like this mod a lot, but I think stashes are too common. I've found more than 10 just in 4 neighbour areas. Maybe it's just in my world.

Well, yeah, as all the environmental objects, they respawn, but not so often, that it would look weird and the duration is adapted mostly for servers.

Great idea. Something which encourages exploration of the map. Suppose the rare finds also spawn from time to time in areas already visited, so you have a reason to go out for a hiking again once in a while?

The problem with the unpopularity of treasures IMO btw is: Just not worth it! Run a hundred times and a hundred miles just to get eventually that Kings statue and that engraved mace. The rest is just not valuable enough. Also no digging for treasure? ME is really set up as great digging game. And treasures should need to be dug! Not fall out of thin air. :steamhappy:
