I wanted to ask something. So I changed the XML to allow carbon-weave to have the Stony tag because I prefer the black over the synthdiamond, and I prefer stony/metal floors over wooden ones, but I was wondering if this mod were to update, and the stony tag would be removed again, would all my floors break apart?
I've tried creating my own patches of mods before, but I have no background in coding and I don't think I'm using the Xpaths right. :P
But I don't recommend using composite for armor, it has mediocre stats. Weave is almost as good as devilstrand. Diamond... Not sure, vanilla has no stone armors.
That said, fair enough, it's your call - and good to know, @kongkim.
As for the limited effect, I figured as much; given that it's multicoloured I assume the two options are changing the tone of the whole thing or just changing one colour. To be clear though, I haven't the foggiest how that part of the game works, code-wise.
But as @ignis say, it do not have much effect on the floor, but it do change a bit in color.
So made a balance patch mod for this, and mentioned you also.
Maybe it will give you a few more subs to the mod :) Feel free to link to it if you feel for it.

- Use rimmsqol to change price yourself
- Change storyteller settings to make wealth less important or even use wealth-independant curve
- Add mods with better weapons and turrets to shred those raids
- Spend your wealth to turn your pawns into bionic supersoldiers
- Cheese raids more
- Use stone to build
- Get a mechanitor and build a dozen of superheavy mechs to bulldoze raids
- Get allies and call them to help you fight
- Use your own imagination
- Lower difficulty
Maybe consider invest into some better defense and gear mods? Vanilla is really imbalanced in what it can offer in terms of high-end stuff.
Carbon weave may be a bit OP, since there are no vanilla textile with such stats and it is basically devilthread with more HP. It i made from chemfuel with 1:1 ratio.
Synthdiamond is intended to use for walls, it is expensive but relatively powerful. Still barely OP since vanilla walls are still being easily destroyed by sappers, it can only delay them for a short time. It i made from chemfuel with 1:10 ratio.
Also what to it take to make it and how much?
Steel has a material multiplier of 1.0
C-Fiber has a material multiplier of 1.2
Plasteel has a material multiplier of 2
(10x mat. mult. )
W.Mask with wood = 1
W.Mask with CF = 12
(8x mat. mult.)
Steel b. shield = 8
CF b. shield = 9.6
Plasteel b. shield = 16
(556AP = 10pen)
This should mostly hold true for nonCE as well with CF far surpassing Wood for wood items. For metal material, c-fib is mid-tier and is in a good place.
Its strong for an early game wood helmet. It could be cool for a tribal playthrough for a high quality war mask for your chief though! But not a deal-breaker- would be better without woody by default though. (For vanilla and CE)
TLDR:
Mod works fine- but the carbon fiber material properties make wood items a bit too strong if used with c-fiber. This is certainly the case for CE, but will most likely hold true for vanilla but I haven't tested van.
Suggestion: Remove Woody from c-fiber material types.
However, looks like the issue of Carbon composite being able to be used as "woody" material in armor and produce war masks and wooden shields that exceed recon helmets/plasteel ballistic shields in RHA is still there. The simplest solution I know is remove Woody material class form Carbon Composite when used with CE.
FYI: CE has a compatibility patch for this that is built into the current steam build.

I keep getting the same message in debug logs: "Two power networks on the same cell" and then their coordinates. but my debug log is just spammed completely with this for maybe hundreds of lines. I at first blew it off because they were yellow and i had red errors. But after contacting those errors' mods, and those errors disappearing, all i'm left with is these (maybe) 100 errors repeating.

Please can you fix it? its crashing my game pretty badly
If you grow psychoid plant, you'll get one flake per day per 4.5 plants. This gives 3.1 silver per day profit per plant.
Now consider that processing of synthdiamonds is more labor-intensive, requires more research (electricity + biofuel + carbon) compared to yayo (drug production + psychite refining).
Too valuable.
* A lot of defs are renamed to avoid mod collisions. It would cause some issues on existing saves (would have to rebuild everything done with diamonds and recreate relevant bills) but it was overdue.
* Diamond renamed to synthdiamond, which is now described as a plastic that looks kinda like a diamond.
* C-composite walls now can be built on weak soil (same as wood now), synthdiamond walls need solid ground like stone.
* Very minor stats adjustments.
