No idea. Need more details - what happened before problem occured? Did you respawn or used zeus before? Did you switched weapon by some script?

Mod is not compatible with remote units (zeus controlled), so it will check jammed weapons against actual player unit.

I have to second what others have mentioned. I've not once been able to actually get the Weapon Menu to appear. I just get a box that says "Weapon functioning normally" and a gun that is perma-jammed. What's worse, when I Zeus in a copy of the gun that jammed, THAT gun is jammed too.

I downloaded the Raven Fix, but that yielded no results either.

man, i have problem. My weapon is jamming but i cant repair the weapon (i cant open "jamming menu") and notification said: "weapon function normaly (idk if i wrong write but its mean like that)" How i repair my weapon?

For some reason the Inspect Menu will not open. I suspect it could be a conflicting mod, do you have a list of incompatible mods?

Oh okay, I've figured it out. Apparently this is incompatable with Zeus, which is unfortunate to be honest.

Does this work for all guns? i have it set to a 10% jam rate (playing as rebels in myanmar, so realistic), and it seems to never jam. or is this an issue with it not being compat with Zeus?

@Buzzil Please try to implement point 2. I very often see how bullets hit the player's weapon, without the slightest consequences. Ideally, it would not be bad to have a chance for an unrecoverable jam. So that the weapon was forever spoiled, if of course this is possible.

1) EJAM uses ACE3 jam events and pure random on each shot fired =) But chances may be configured by mod settings for each weapon class individually. FYI ACE3 jam chance calculated from barrel temperature + some effect of how dusty surface below.

2) I don't think it's possible without some weird approached. My guess - create some object that may be hit, add hit EH to it and attach this object to position of weapon on player's model. In theory it can detect both direct hits and explosions.

3) Game doesn't recognize 2 weapons items of the same class (so if you jam SPAR-16 and swap it to another SPAR-16 - new one will be jammed too). But you can remove player's weapon by force, drop it and make unpickable. I made some scripts years ago, but didn't add it to EJAM for somereason. I have three questions:

1) I looked through your material, but did not understand what reason can cause the weapon to jam in your mod? is it just overheating like in ACE3? Or could there be other reasons?

2) Is it possible to make a reason for jamming a weapon (chance), if weapon get bullet hit or get near explosion?

3) Is it possible to make a completely broken weapon, that cannot be restored?

I am very sorry, but I didn't do a thing even year after =(
Anyway, on GitHub there is a PR from user zharf which fix current issue on master branch (ignore others =)).

Anyone who wants to apply this fix and share fixed mod on Workshop (under APL-SA) is free to do so, just mention me and other folks that helped me in your credits section.

@O. Forest How would that cause ACRE2 to stop working? The issue isn't a conflict between Extended Jamming and ACE, that conflict is simple enough to fix. The issue I'm talking about is that after the last ACRE2 update, ACRE2 will not work if Extended Jamming is loaded.

After a little bit of testing, it is possible to get it to work without ace jamming standard messing with it. Just turn the jam coefficient of ace overheating jamming to 0 and then edit EJAM

works ok i guess. main issue is rifles will jam and when you try to bring up the menu to clear it, it wont come up and just tells you the weapon is functioning properly yet it still wont fire even after putting in a new mag and theres nothing else you can do other than get a different rifle until that does the same. i think im gonna find one that works better until this issue is fixed

Using this mod breaks TFAR a bit. When I load both mods, I can't use the radio unless I drop it and pick it up again

Yep we really are all waiting, but what scared me is that the author said he won't take any responsibility with the issue with ACRE. That didn't use to be a problem until recently either and it really is game breaking. I hope that gets fixed too :\

Is there still an ACE compat issue? I've been getting some errors saying "Error Generic error in expression". I can send some pictures if you want me to (idk how though)

Love this mod. Sadly some stuff doesn't work in combination with ace + GM CDLC. Not quite sure what it is, but it might be compatibility issues to the latest ACE update as Buzzil mentioned. Not quite sure though. It works with GM without ACE though. But as soon as you run it with ACE and GM, you get script errors and stuff gets strange. (Adding GM ACE Compatibility doesn't fix it.)

This mod causes issues with Zeus Enhanced as well, problems ive discovered with it include: Having all unit catagories expanded (which i find very annoying) and making the Paradrop option in the Reinforcements catagory fail to work, as the units will not exit the vehicle.

it also breaks overthrow too not sure whats going on but it really messes the game up. Body falling thru the map, and menus that wont go away.
