I've decompiled the DLL and spotted in BetterCV.BetterCVUtil the function isOverWall logs the name of the place worker for every placeWorker for every tick. I couldn't find the code on Github or similar to make a PR. I noticed because someone made a ticket on my mod complaining about loads of logs but it turns out it's just this mod logging it lol

So compared to vanilla vents how much more effective are these cause I find vanilla vents absolutely worthless except for very small rooms.

@Lurmey i know i'm not really answering your question but there's a mod that replaces the textures of JTP's mod called "seamless edit" or something. also if you check out the discussions there's one pinned that explains how to build windows out of stone. i say all this because i'm thinking maybe you don't like the way they look like i did, and those two things together fix that issue up real well. @everyone_else sorry for posting so off topic

Updated anyway, No changes, mod works fine as far as I can tell, just a recompile and added to the about to remove the warning.

Hey, Antaioz, I wanna ask from a modding perspective, how exactly do you enable the building to be placed over top a wall without replacing it? I'm trying to make a patch for JPT's Open The Windows that makes his windows act similarly but I don't know how to even begin. Could you help?

Same here. The vents appears in front of every pawns.

the vents are appearing 'in front' of my alpha muffalos and t-rex sprites as they walk past them. Spawned some vanilla animals (dromedary and elephant) and its doing same thing.

Great mod, much appreciated. Been using it for a while now. I notice that raiders still go first for my vents/coolers... so I was going to combine with materials for vents, is it compatible?

Just tested again.

It appears to be isolated to god mode. Given that, I'm not inclined to root around in the code, possibly breaking other things while trying to come up with a fix.

I don't see how it could, either, actually. I looked at the files and the only thing that seems like it could effect anything is an assembly called "bettercv.dll", but that's just because I don't know what it does. All I can say is that I loaded up the game with nothing but core and a mod manager, no problem, then added BetterVents, and got that strange behavior (this picture is an autodoor, a door, a cooler, and a modded vent, placed in god mode) : https://imgur.com/a/fZ1Ij7S

It could just be something wonky on Rimworld's end with how it responds to the mod. I did notice that, since 1.0, pawns seem to have an extra deconstruct job when installing a door or something that I don't quite remember being there (they remove the wall, then build the door instead of that just happening automatically when the door's built). I may be mistaken on that, though.

I don't see how this mod could cause that, The mod doesn't affect any code that would cause that issue, and I can't replicate it on my end.
