Thanks for the mod mate!

I'd like to announce that I just published a mod comparable to yours, I specifically used your idea of applying the skill into potion. If you feel offended by this please let me know and maybe we can make some arrangements. Here's the link of my work if your interested: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=871078529

thanks
Naelian  [author] 5 Jul, 2016 @ 6:54am
TEA aura is only activated for the player game session and never "saved" ... so you are totally FREE in time to play/test your character with or without activating this mod, for example not "activating" the mod with friends in a multiplayer session but activating it in solo mode !
*Yuki* 5 Jul, 2016 @ 6:03am
will it bind to saves?
Raden 18 Mar, 2016 @ 5:01am
Never be sorry for "bad english". You speak much better than some people who English is a FIRST language. :)

As far as the sound goes, that is actually a pretty great reason. I totally understand now, and in fact take back what I said. When you put it that way, I totally agree with you. :D
Naelian  [author] 18 Mar, 2016 @ 1:41am
Yes a sound (like a sonar "ping") + a visual effect (~white circle over character's head) are played everytime the character get a "refresh" action with the tea aura on.

So it occurs when aura is launch or refresh (enter an new area) ... i also discovered that this "refresh" action is "triggered" in other cases when tea aura is "on" : when an item is equip/auto equip or when the player request a "weapons switch". I used to play a lot with weapons switches but sometimes i hit the switch key in fight "not wanting to do so" and sometimes it means "death" ... i can now fight and get a sound and visual alert to show me if i request a "weapons switch " ... It was first a mistake but playing with i found this side effect so interesting that i decided to keep it !... (sorry for my bad english again) ...
Raden 17 Mar, 2016 @ 2:50pm
What is that annoying-ass sound effect that plays when you switch weapon loadouts or right click to wear armour? It didn't start happening until I used the eye so it's got to be your mod doing it. Why would you add this? I recently got mods to cut DOWN on annoying noise and you're adding it.
steffire3 14 Feb, 2016 @ 4:44am
Thank you Naelian: we appreciate it :)
Naelian  [author] 13 Feb, 2016 @ 7:56am
@steffire3 > It's better to use my "tl2rama" mod that included "Tea" and many smart enhancements. All my mods are free to Use/Reuse so it's ok. And yes, i could recommend your mod after testing it of course ! ;p

Vanilla as it Should Have Been

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=598144481

We would like to know if it's okay for us to consider using this or recommending this in our mod pack?

also if you could recommend this to others if we decide to use it?

and I will gladly delete this comment if you wish me to do so.

Credits and links will be provided in description if used.

i, for one, love this addon...mostly because its the only addon ive found that is even trying to make nameplates/enemy health bars always visible. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this game playable for this one particular gamer.
Naelian  [author] 12 Aug, 2013 @ 12:56am
Using the aura system to display the player health status (full life/half life) seems possible but will never be so accurate than a UI "object" and could not replace it. Try other mods displaying mana/health using "UI bars" in overlay or something like that.
⎛⎝Bojue⎠⎞ 11 Aug, 2013 @ 7:55am
please add the aura of the player so i can hide the HP orb

Published V1.1-657
Now using the last specs of the Merchant Compatilibity Project
The TEA smashable theme is now display over candelabra as wanted
Naelian  [author] 30 May, 2013 @ 3:11am
Thanks zParticle, this is a good idea ...
The new 656 release is now using "Vendor Compatibility Project" specs.
My TL2Rama mod now include the last TEA release.
zParticle 26 May, 2013 @ 8:07pm
This mod helps tremendously with visibility and tactical combat. Great idea. For the items you add to the general merchant, check out the Vendor Compatibility Project [forums.runicgames.com]—lyravega's set it up so you can easily make your mod fully compatible with other mods that use this vendor.
Naelian  [author] 22 May, 2013 @ 10:49am
Lol .... look at D3 ... the mobs heath bar over monsters show also mob position ... i never heard someone saying it's too much and it will be better to display a circle or a target icon instead ! ... D3 have many other reasons to be bad but not here ! ... keep your mind open ;p

tsuelue 22 May, 2013 @ 10:34am
Noooooo! No more changes!!!! *faints*
Naelian  [author] 22 May, 2013 @ 10:28am
Perhaps i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure that if this crescent could be use as a jauge to display if a mob is lightly hurt or near death many players will found this brillant ... it's better to judge things after testing than before they are done but this subject is open and you are free to give your own feelings about this kind of improvement.
Naelian  [author] 22 May, 2013 @ 9:39am
Sorry but i heard a only one voice and this mod have 154 suscribers now ... just accept that you are not alone and that mod is design for many so i can't accept to stop dev because of one voice thinking it was perfect before. My own opinion is that trying is in the mod spirit, don''t change anything is a vanilla way to think ... and thinking like that this mod will never be done right ? ;p
tsuelue 22 May, 2013 @ 8:06am
All I ever needed was an indicator where mobs are. The first version did just das perfectly.
The mob moves, so does the indicator. Brilliant.

If you ad "many more things" ... you are making it only worse, we go from *damn where´ s all the monsters?!* to +damn to much information+. What a unit is targetting, honestly, who cares? Mobs are mostly targetting me, I don´t need an indicator for that. If they target a pet/minion, dito. Please keep it simple, to many data make my brain hurt...

20 -30 mobs on the screen and you want me to take in direction/angle data and what is targetting whom and who the monsters ate for lunch, oh come on...

Or upload the first version so we (all righ, *I*) have a choice. Then I won´t bother you again (maybe).
Naelian  [author] 22 May, 2013 @ 4:56am
Round flat icons are no more good when you want to give also direction/angle datas, arrows or crescents are far better for that ... So the goal of TEA is no more to show you only where are units (2D can still be good for that) but also to provide you an overall view giving you as many datas as possible about units ... a single icon showing where is a unit and also what this unit is targetting and perhaps in future many more things ... all-in-one. So ok the previous display was good to complete the first goal but now the challenge is to go to the next step. Tea is like a baby that walk fours and discovering that it could run upright .. but before running he need to learn to walk ... and sometimes walk fours seems better but staying on the floor will never give him all the things he wants to get ;p
tsuelue 22 May, 2013 @ 3:05am
Wuh-?! How dare you to be as ... uh ...you are...or something. Unbelievable.
Ok, TEA is all about visibility of mobs. In the first version monsters and such had a red crosshair above their head. Good visibility. Now there´s this red halo, which for my is less visible. Probably because the red crosshair is pretty unique in the game. Well, was unique. It sticked out. The green circle above pet/minions was also "better". Better visibility than the green halo. Just my humble opinion. Ok not humble, but anyways...

"I am not in your mind." And how is that MY fault?! ;)
Naelian  [author] 22 May, 2013 @ 2:36am
Very very few chance ... the current release introduce the display of units angle of view which seems to be consider now by many users as a fun improvement. Obviously many things can and will be improved in time and i need you (users) to put many words on your feelings to make things better. Say only it was better before or i hate something is interesting but doesn't really help to make things better because i'm not in your mind ;p ... my goal is to make everything in TEA a think choice so i can explain to all users why this or this feature has been improved, added or removed ... That's how i am ;p ...
tsuelue 21 May, 2013 @ 11:33pm
I realised that I like the original version of TEA much muuuuuch better. Any chance of you uploading a retro-version? Yes I know, nag nag nag, greedy bastard and all that. That´s how I am.
tsuelue 21 May, 2013 @ 4:41am
Could you please make the Overseer's Eye stack to 99 or something? That would be awesome. Also: yuck. How about cherry flavor? ;)
Naelian  [author] 18 May, 2013 @ 11:58pm
A dark shape under the crescent is really important to better see everything in all cases (a red crescent over a red creature is not clearly visible for example if not doing that). So this dark blue cloud is perhaps too big but better than nothing. Actually i don't succeed to use my own textures in Guts (bug ?) but perhaps sooner i could replace this dark cloud by a dark crescent just a slightly bigger than the actual green/red crescent use ... doing so this darker effect will be put only where it's really necessary.
Lepo 18 May, 2013 @ 10:56am
This mod is amazing, don't get the reason why it has so few subscribers.
Just one thing, remove the "black shape" and make it trasparent ;).
Naelian  [author] 16 May, 2013 @ 2:42pm
Ok, jarome this new release should be better for you ;p ... the old permanent player pulse effect is removed, a new one is played only at aura launch or when changing zone / player "updated". New visual effects now, units angle of view display and many others things !
Naelian  [author] 13 May, 2013 @ 8:05pm
Interesting Jarome, I can also add an effect display on the player a few secs at launch and when entering a new area but not "always" ... so i will do that in the next release.
Potroast Jr 13 May, 2013 @ 1:40pm
love the friendly and hostile marks. hate the constant pulse under my character.
Naelian  [author] 13 May, 2013 @ 12:15am
Thanks tsuelue !, you pretty well explain why "TEA" is so interesting ! ;p ...
RicKJameS 12 May, 2013 @ 1:50am
ho-kago tea time!
tsuelue 12 May, 2013 @ 1:00am
I absolutely love this mod! When ther´s 30+ mobs on the screen (inclusing summons like archers and zombies) it´s very chaotic and stressfull. Now my eyes can rest. Plus it looks awesome. Thank u so vey much Naelian. You´re my hero! ^^
Wiwitch 11 May, 2013 @ 1:36pm
It's TEA time, j'adore :D
Naelian  [author] 9 May, 2013 @ 12:37pm
A steam publishing problem created a previous corrupted mod file !, sorry for all users, should be good now with this new publishing/update ! ... (thanks to Fibero)

Un problème de publication via Steam est à l'origine d'une version précédente corrompue du mod, désolé si vous avez constaté ce soucis, cela devrait aller beaucoup mieux suite à la publication de cette nouvelle version ! ... (merci à Fibero)
Naelian  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 11:53am
If you like "TEA", try also my previous mod called "TL2Rama" ... if you don't like "TEA" please explain why !
Naelian  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 11:16am
Discover the Aura of Enhanced Targeting ! (TEA project) and never see the game as before !
