Does the emergent semitic civilizations of Judea and Palmyra have their own roster culture or its all generic units?

Are they playable in custom battle?

Oh I see Teos, that's too bad. I tried to edit your mod (for personal use) and add a new faction in Hyrcania but I suck at this stuff lmao. I'll ask around then.

Unfortunately, I lost all raw files and adding or modifying anything would require working from scratch, and I don't have time for it. There are other modders doing the same and you could ask them

Great importing of the map, and I love the new nations on it. Faction relationships are cool too. Hellenic world becomes interesting straight away.

I personally never enjoy any other campaign but a GRAND, so it's a game changer for me. Okey, RoTR was amusing too, mostly due to vast amount of new content and finally an enjoyable Rome playthrough.

It's cool that AI does not starve but goddamn it kills a part of the game for me. E.g. I end up somewhere on the far frontier with a force that is way smaller than what's in a stronghold, so I hide the army in ambush stance and deploy the spy that is attached to it. No matter how much the food stealing trait is levelled up, none of the food stealing helps. Even if dudes are already in minus. Not to mention that on Very High the AI simply ignores the food.

Also my crappy attempts to make my satrapies like me through modding did not work out at all. Incompatible or outdated - I don't know :(

I love the added cities and the map, but yeah, I really don't need the added features. I also wish it was more true to vanilla. For example, "All factions start with strong units to avoid fighting against trash in the beginning of the game." I personally don't mind that, that is why it's the beginning of the game. I like building up, not have a big army from the start already. It really deters me from playing with this mod, and that's a pity, since I really like the map. Not to mention all sorts of compatibility issues with other mods. If your goal is just to make Augustus map playable for grand campaign, then I don't get why you would make an entire overhaul like this.

Is there a version of this mod with just the map port and nothing else? I would like to use 4tpy with seasonal effects from Dresden and it would most likely break.

Thank you for your amazing work. Apart from little things i dislike like Neapolis being inland and not a port settlement (obv because of the porting from IA), It works well. I would also love a version with just the porting of the map and no other features or modifications.

I would love this if it stayed more true to vanilla. An option for that would be praised from my part, as this is very well made.

So, why exactly does this mod change Beneventum to Neapolis? Also, with this mod enabled, Historically Accurate Faction names, a mod I participated in creating ceased to work and all factions went back to their old Rome 2 names.

hi everybody... i have a question... do you think, that it is bad idea, if ROME start positions was changed...and start only with rome and beneventum(neapolis)?? and asculum give somebody, maybe etruscan ligue... south of itali...somebody else??

There are more regions (about 10 ), so I could place more new factions. Some cities like Syracuse and Judea got walls (they didn't have walls in the original campaign).

I have been trying to find out the differences between the maps, I'm sort of looking for a reason to D/L this.
Don't get me wrong, i'm intrigued, but is there some reason to use the IA map? Is it bigger, more cities? I have been trying to find images of the 2 maps side by side, no luck yet.

Ты же говоришь по-русски? Надеюсь, судя по профилю - говоришь.
И все-таки если да, то нужно менять язык игры, а не стима (насколько я понял сообщение). Нужно щелкнуть на Rome 2 в библиотеке правой клавишей мыши, выбрать свойства - язык и выбрать там English. Т.к. я играю на английском почти во все игры, то перевод мне делать лень, если честно. Может когда-нибудь в будущем, но это не приоритет :) Отныне и далее здесь буду писать на английском, чтобы всем было понятно.

I translated the game into English and put the mod on the Russian localization, ie for steam game was in the English version, but the names did not appear. in General, I wanted to ask, should we expect that you will be able to do the mod or not. @Teos, first off, THANK YOU for this amazing mod- makes the campaign that bit fresher for us who've slugged 1000h+ in this game, and the main issue people have with it are the city names which is easily solvable. Very excited to start a new set of campaigns now with the Ancestral update polishing lots of important details. So thank you!! Really look forward to the 2Tp/Y and 4Tp/Y versions :)

Maybe you could post your mods in SteamWorkshop? I would just change one number in the startpost for 2 and 4 tpy versions and give links to your mods? If you make 2 tpy balance version, then this will be great too. Unfortinately, I have very little free time now, so everyone might wait very long for another versions.

You could change the game language to English to see the city names.
Maybe there's a way to include English names into any language version, but I have no clue how.
