Your vehicles are amazing by the way, i love using them, and i can't wait to see what more you bring out.
I believe they used to consist of one engine car and one 'driving trailer' (basically a trailer car with headlights and a drivers compartment).
Theres an example of one in a video at

Perfectly happy with just a 'normal' trailer as well. Would be nice to have something like this to use on less populated lines.
Thanks again for the great work that your doing. Looking forward to your V sets as well.
Someone also asked for a 6-car.. I don't really want to, but if anyone knows an example like this where there have been 6 car sets, let me know!
I believe that CityRail used to operate the 2 car variant in suburban use on the Newcastle line.
For @Beaker-MeepMeep, keeping my promise of putting out the props this week :P

All I need now to make me truly happy is a "red rattler" from the good old days. They went out of service in 1991. You know the ones, windows rattled a lot, and the sliding doors often wouldn't close so stayed open during the journey (which was a bonus in the pre-air conditioning days). Schoolkids would congregate around the open doorways to prove how brave they were. Only an idiot would miss them.
I miss them.
I think my only concern with the V-set model is the fact that a V-set carriage is quite large, and an 8car consist would be longer then some of the default vanilla platforms in the game, a minor issue, really.
