1. Verify game cashe in steam.
2. Refuse to use Beta version of R2 game (launcher) or old Patches. Check it in Library. Use Only last CA patch.
3. Remove all other mods.
4. Allow use mods and scripts in game options.

Joro 13 Oct, 2018 @ 3:51pm
Kinda wish the Lucani werent at a disadvantage to Sparta who are basically gods of war
Starsmil  [author] 1 Oct, 2018 @ 3:14pm
Camillus and Polybian Hastati, Principes and Triarii are different units. You can see this on screenshots. Principes and Triarii can be recruted in native Roman lands only (where campaign starts).
Marshal Lannes 1 Oct, 2018 @ 12:41pm
Does not your title imply that a Polybian army is to be made available? That is, an army including Hastati, Principes and Triarii, as well as the other much appreciated units. You say below that: 'This mod allows you to play with Hastati, Principes and Triarii from the beginning...' Further below, you say that these units were made AOR units. Where can they be recruited? I am confused.
Starsmil  [author] 1 Oct, 2018 @ 12:21pm
No, this means that you can make Polybian reform (by technology) and upgrade almost all units to the type when Grand Campaign starts! (see screenshots).
Marshal Lannes 1 Oct, 2018 @ 12:15pm
I don't understand what you're saying. Do you mean that when 310 BC comes around it will trigger the Principes and the Triarii in the ROTR Campaign?
Starsmil  [author] 1 Oct, 2018 @ 8:42am
You muss up Camillus (393 BC) and Polybian reform (around 310 BC). This mod allows you to play with Hastati, Principes and Triarii from the beginning when Camillus reform passed already.
Marshal Lannes 1 Oct, 2018 @ 8:05am
After the Battle of Allia in 393 BC, the Roman army was reformed in the manner described by Polybian, with Hastati, Principes and Triarii. Would it not be proper to include these reforms fully, then, and have the Principes and Triarii as an addition to the troop types you so brilliantly included?
Starsmil  [author] 30 Sep, 2018 @ 12:20pm
AOR is area of recruitment (of units). Principes and Triarii were made AOR for ROTR campaign.
So to see them just uncheck this mod.
Marshal Lannes 30 Sep, 2018 @ 8:53am
What does AOR mean? I am an old wargamer so am not always up with the shorthand. Is there a way to add Principes and Triarii to your mod, please?
Starsmil  [author] 30 Sep, 2018 @ 3:50am
Yes, Principes and Triarii were made AOR in this mod for ROTR map. So you have to disable this mod to see these units in Grand Campaign.
Marshal Lannes 30 Sep, 2018 @ 3:47am
Grand Campaign. I have other mods but I think yours is the relevant one. I think. I get lots of lovely troops from yours, but the Principes and Triarii have gone into hiding.
Starsmil  [author] 29 Sep, 2018 @ 3:28pm
Try to remove other mods. Btw u lost them in which campaign? Rotr?
Marshal Lannes 29 Sep, 2018 @ 2:25pm
I seem to have lost the Principes and the Triarii. Is there a way to have them back?
Starsmil  [author] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 2:45pm
Not in plans, but for 25 bucks easy :)
mario23 23 Sep, 2018 @ 2:17pm
Please, can you create a faction unlocker mod for RotR?
SLON 8 Sep, 2018 @ 2:50pm

Also, regarding the buffed edicts mod, where should I place it in my rome 2 folder to get it working? (I'm sorry for all these questions... just not great with this kind of thing.)
Puny Punic 6 Sep, 2018 @ 6:57am
Perfect. Don't know how I missed that. Also the garrison mod works like a charm now! Thank you for the mod, will be playing quite a bit of it :)

Puny Punic 6 Sep, 2018 @ 6:02am
Thank you for the info, friend :) Yeah, I probably should have assumed things would be more difficult, considering the title of the mod. haha. Thanks again! Also, I'm having trouble finding the edict submod, mind pointing me in the right direction?
Starsmil  [author] 6 Sep, 2018 @ 3:24am

Starsmil  [author] 6 Sep, 2018 @ 3:17am
@Puny Punic, so u talk about REM, right? :) It's means Real Exp mod, casue real life is hard and was hard for ancient states too )
There are sub mods on garrison sizes and edicts on Part 1 main page! So they should be ok for you!
About point 3 - will think about it! Thanks!
Puny Punic 5 Sep, 2018 @ 11:12pm
I like the mod, but here's a few thing's that could be improved.
1. Edicts are too punishing. The nerfs on each edict are so prominent that I don't see the point in using them at all. The nerfs outway the buffs ten to one.
2. Garrison sizes. Trust me, I prefer larger garrisons, but in this case, I think it's a little over the top. I can't seem to take any large settlement that has an enemy army in reinforcment range because the garrison is a full stack in and of itself, which makes taking larger settlements too much of a challenge.
3. A little note on the carthage campaign for rise of the republic. This isn't a complaint but rather a suggestion, but limiting Carthage to a republic and not giving the option to change government type has such a drastic pentality on party loyalty that civil war is too common and feels inevitable, no matter what I do to stop it.

Again, I like this mod, but these are somethings I just felt needed to be brought up.
Dicloflam 5 Sep, 2018 @ 10:39pm
