So sad I need a primitive version for hardcore playthrough, I can't find it.

@breakfast e-girl {with sausage} Hmm? Balance? What I see is a lack of balance, hence my complaint.

Why bother building or using the small or large thermopile when there are better alternatives? Wind, solar or geothermal produce a non-insignificant amount of power without requiring ANY fuel. For that matter, I'd rather build a generator that consumes cheap fuel like wood or chemfuel.

Then there's the fact that I could install and use a different mod to build a nuclear thermopile that requires much less fuel or runs indefinitely. I could do that. However, the other aspects of this mod seem appealing to me. I'd even consider using the thermopiles, if only the fuel consumption was more reasonable.

@thundercraft it's called balance

@dracoix
Your mods for A19 are for the most part stable, from what i've observed their are some issues regarding item weights and depreciated implementation, but everything works as I believe it was intended to do so. I can speak for everything but simple fish as far as 1.0 is concerned.

Even if it is a relatively small amount, thermopiles that use up uranium in just 6 days seem unreasonable. (Common isotopes of Uranium have a half-life measured in years, not days.) Nuclear thermopiles last for decades. Voyager 1 & 2 probes are still operating to this day. Uranium is expensive and hard to obtain in any quantity in RimWorld. It's not like a fuel like wood or chemfuel that is renewable, cheap and common.

I've seen other nuclear thermopile mods and none require a stead and regular supply of uranium. The RTGs , for example, produce 750w, yet the uranium is a one-time building material cost as it does not need replacing.

There are some nuclear power plant mods ( not thermopile) that do consume uranium. However, most consume a sizeable amount of uranium and produce a large amount of power - usually at least 5 kw or 10 kw - and last about an in-game year or longer.

real life busy, if it doesn't work when forcing the mod in your modlist, then I'll do an emergency update.

any news on whether we are getting a 1.0 update?

I got a suggestion
why not a Power generator that Works by using the heat around it
Produces not much power
but cheap enough to build many
or
Produces same amount of power to a solar panel
but only able to be built on Sand (Hopefully to be made on only Desert and Extreme Desert Biomes and not Coasts of Any biome)
