Any chance this mod will be made to be in Game Master mode, but with just the scripting for the saving throws, and none of the item changes.
Because this mod would be amazing for DMing.

Did anyone else get multiple From the Shadows buffs with Guerilla stacking while exiting sneaking? I think this bug appears when also using Divinity Conflux.
Glerm 20 Jun, 2023 @ 7:15pm
even with the mod not being supported i wanted to ask if there is a setting to stop armor regen

Two things:
1) Could this mod be modified to work in Game Master Mode, or are there specific reasons as to why it doesn't?
2) It would be super awesome, if your Memory also added % chance to the status deflect chance!

Really like this mod, thanks for making this

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows whether ABST works with Odinblade's Scoundrel Class Overhaul, which was released after the last ABST update.

Alternatively, I'm wondering whether ABST is capable of handling novel status effects, such as those introduced in that mod.

I was testing something else near the end of the game with this mod enabled, and out that on 0 magic armor, Source Drain from Source Vampirism procs twice.
Either 1 time + it says "Source Drain resisted", or I just flat out steal 2 source points.
Disabled every other mod, with just this one enabled, and it still did that

Hi! Absolutely loving this mod. Would it be possible for you to make it compatible with GM mode? I can't find it in the modlist so I assume you only made it available for Story.

@SilverStarGG I'm having a similar issue where chicken claw doesn't work at all
SilverStarGG 19 Sep, 2020 @ 12:20pm
For some reason when using chicken form it seems to be calculated from MAGIC ARMOR instead of PHYSICAL ARMOR. Does anyone else have that problem?
Figaround 22 Jul, 2020 @ 2:55pm
@NubileThighGaps I checked, it works well on save, I didn't see any problems.
NubileThighGaps 22 Jul, 2020 @ 2:44pm
Also curious about if this can be applied to a save file. I also wonder is there a way to balance it a bit so that having a lot of armor isn't a negative for the player? Right now it seems like for the player if you regenerate your armor and you don't have much it puts you right back up to a high resist chance. But if you have a lot of armor it won't.
Figaround 15 Jul, 2020 @ 12:26pm
Can I apply the mod on save? And can I turn off the mod later?
TouchMe 11 Jul, 2020 @ 2:06pm
Anyone able to confirm whether this works with Helaene's classes?
Ray 27 Jun, 2020 @ 3:32pm
Any chance this could get updated for divinity conflux?
Arctrooper209 28 May, 2020 @ 1:15am
Been playing with this mod for the past two weeks and am loving it! Combined with your "House Rules" mod, it's such a great solution to the problems that came with the armor system that I'm surprised Larian didn't think of it. Serves as a good middle ground between the DOS 1 and 2 systems and I think changes gameplay for the better.
Pencey  [author] 27 May, 2020 @ 11:45pm
Addressing previous comments after some time away from Divinity 2 modding:

This mod is fully compatible with Larian's Combat Randomizer add-on.

As of tonight's update, this mod is compatible with all of Odinblade's class mods, as long as ABST is later in your load order. This mod should not be used with class or skill mods I haven't added support for, because custom aura skills can conflict with its scripting.
Rosth 22 Feb, 2020 @ 12:17am
Haven't played the game for 1,5 years, planning to run throught it again, is this mod compatible with the latest version of the game with all those gift bags and stuff?
BTAxis 11 Jan, 2020 @ 7:39am
@PersonalProxy It doesn't need to be compatible with DU, because DU changes the way armor and statuses work entirely. Using this mod together with DU would make no sense.
PersonalProxy 4 Jan, 2020 @ 11:16pm
Compatible with Divinity Unleashed?
NotSoSocial 11 Jun, 2019 @ 12:45am
Compatibility problem. Casting infected from odinblades necromancer overhaul, around a group of enemies with physical armor still remaining, will crash the game due to it attempting to infinitely apply diseased, causing it to roll the status infinitely.
Daevinski 13 May, 2019 @ 6:13am
Hi! I have almost all your mods installed and so far so good. But I wonder if there is any particular "load order" I should follow, especially while using Odinblade's mods.

I'm also using "Core Game Balance", "Enemy Power Unleashed" and "Combat Luck" that affect combat, mechanics and gameplay, so I wonder if they'll work fine with your mods as well.

Right now I have your mods in the bottom of the list starting with this one. That's enought or I should change the order again?

Any guidance is more than welcome. Thanks. :D
LaughingLeader 12 May, 2019 @ 8:08am
@spence Just to clarify thydreadnought's issue, it seems they were using this mod with Divine War and another armor overhaul mod, so they had major compatibility issues and ABST got locked into an endless loop of applying OVR_BURNING and then trying to force BURNING.

Meanwhile, DIvine War was most likely blocking BURNING with its Willpower system, and my guess is the relevant flags were being cleared as a result, and repeating the cycle endlessly (you see a lot of flag set/cleared events in the log, and a ton of BURNING -> OVR_BURNING -> BURNING events).

@spence sorry to bother you but i came to a problem where my fps would suddenly drop if i blew up something or used battering etc so i used the storylog to see what happened and someone helped me and pointed out that its this mod thats creating errors https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XYzOGiUAEie0iU-I-KxPGPb0fcbje1U0 this is the log file and it was created in about 5 mins of me playing
Dimquinox 19 Apr, 2019 @ 6:41pm
should i put the house rules sub-mod above or below this mod ?

How much perseverance would I need to safely take glass cannon?
mikfhan 24 Feb, 2019 @ 1:43am
Neat stuff, gonna try it on next playthrough! PS: There's another mod called LeaderLib here in the Workshop that provides a standard mod merchant and mod settings menu (via a book/skill you can get); perhaps ABST could use its menu instead of the arena orb/similar if it's enabled also?
Pencey  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 8:05am
@kodax Thanks for the feedback! Message me if you ever wanna take that on as a project, I'd happily send you all my raw files / give you some pointers.
Kodaxmax 1 Feb, 2019 @ 5:01am
I understand and i don't demand it, if i have time one day mayby ill do it myself. Thanks for all the hard work.
Pencey  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 4:57am
@kodaxmax: While I can see the merits of a version of this mod with less feature creep, my time just won't allow for it. The nice thing about the attribute and talent tweaks is they are all additive (i.e. no base-game functionality was removed) and pretty easy to ignore if they're not your thing.
Pencey  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 4:54am
To anyone experiencing aura-related 'resist message spam' bugs that aren't resolved by making sure ABST is last in your load order: if this is a mod-added skill, let me know which mod it's from and I can patch in compatibility on my end.
Kodaxmax 8 Jan, 2019 @ 5:20pm
i would love a version of this that didn't touch attributes, talents etc
Pencey  [author] 4 Dec, 2018 @ 5:22am
Hey all. I've been in severe crunch mode at work for the past couple weeks, which explains why I haven't been around to answer questions / patch this mod. I hope to be able to make some more time for Divinity soon.
Edward Staminahands 3 Dec, 2018 @ 12:18pm
For any new people or any previous users that ditched this mod because of the aura bug, make sure ABST is actually last in your load order. I can battle against auras without crashing now.
spartaan 24 Nov, 2018 @ 5:15pm
Aura of exhaustion and max magic armor breaks the game with infinite ''slow resisted messages'' Is there a work around besides deplenishing your own magic armour?

seconded
Bok 24 Nov, 2018 @ 12:37pm
Best mod. Thank you!
Spiner909 10 Nov, 2018 @ 3:05pm
I'll hold off on this mod until the bugs with Auras are resolved, looks interesting though

Garland81 2 Nov, 2018 @ 7:19am
So I'm working on a DnD-esque conversion. Got the HP Nailed. I was wondering how to apply physical resistence attribute to armors while still retaining the armor and magic barriers on spells? I wouldn't mind editting every piece of armor either. I'd enjoy the math.

KnightofFarros 8 Oct, 2018 @ 2:18pm
So me and a friend are using this mod and sometimes, when enemies have an aura, like blindness or slowness-inducing aura, our characters will endlessly resist until the game crashes. Is this a result of having it in the wrong place in the load order, or is there something else the matter?
The Bald & The Beautiful 2 Oct, 2018 @ 8:45pm
So does this mod increase the chance i can CC enemies? Because thats what im looking for.
I hat ethe fact tha ti need to strip all the armor away before i can apply any statuses.

Hi, Spence! I have RATED UP & Added this mod (and others) to:

" The Definitive D:OS2 Mod List (2018) " :steamhappy:

Congrats & Thanks for your awesome mods!
Pencey  [author] 27 Sep, 2018 @ 7:49pm
@Knight Nope!

@Richard ABST should be at the end of your load order. Loaded last. So technically below Attribute Insanity in the in-game mod list.
KnightofFarros 27 Sep, 2018 @ 3:31pm
Does this mod have any issues with Divine Scaling or mods that affect abilities or talents?
Snem 27 Sep, 2018 @ 5:30am
In this case ,this mod should be above Attributes Insanity in the mod loader right ?
Pencey  [author] 26 Sep, 2018 @ 6:02pm
I'm not too familiar with the specifics of Attribute Insanity. My guess is they will go together just fine. IIRC that mod has some mechanic where certain statuses can be 'forced' through armor. If and when that happens you might get some weird, contradictory combat log info, but that's about it.
Snem 25 Sep, 2018 @ 3:10am
I wanted to ask, will this mod work well with Attributes Insanity, or will there be overlaps in certain places ?
Pencey  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 1:02pm
Just published a 'House Rules' add-on that offers a more hardcore ABST experience: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1521966085
