Although I know that you have stepped away from rimworld modding, I wanted to let you know that I am planning on remaking something like this for my own mod. It will not have the same logic used here but conceptually it will be similar

hi i had a look and while i was subscribed to this page, it took me a while to upgrade my 1.0 savegame into 1.2 (a year lol)
and i didnt have a local backup of odyssys mod but if you post to the "missing mods" discussion thread on rimworld/workshop, maybe another person watching that page might have it?

Seconding SetArk's question. OdysseyScorpio's version mysteriously vanished. Do you have any intentions of reclaiming this mod or should we rely on local copies until someone else (hopefully) takes up the mantle?

Hoy! sorry for bringing it from the dead, but i've just noticed that the 1.2 version from yah and OdysseyScorpio has been removed from the workshop!
Will there be an new version more integrated with the Vanilla Expanded Framework?

Just a heads up, a friend of mine worked on an update to this. We'll be doing some testing tonight and if all's good, he'll upload it tomorrow. He has the mod author's approval, so stay tuned! :steamhappy:

I love this mod~ it helps me lower the death rate of my enemies by hitting their legs specifically. Right now most of pawn kills my potential organ donor cuz they cut the neck off.

i would love if you decided to update this, my soul has taken enough beating having to unsub from about 10 pages of mods left to rot. I'd consider this a must have. Take your time if needed.

Just pushed an update that addresses compatibility issues with Animal Variety Coats and should also fix several other bugs that were present in the mod.

I would like to second @Xaviien's suggestion/request for a patch to Animal Variety Coats when and if time permits. It's the only thing holding me back from using this mod, since I don't want give up on AVC.

By default colonists will always shoot at max range. This is a problem since some weapons are better at medium or even really short range. A mod that lets me configure which range colonists prefer to shoot from, could be interesting. But maybe not so usefull?

All good, thanks for responding.
Oddly it doesn't seem to be an issue with only those 2 installed. I'll test more tomorrow, and see if I can find which third mod is causing the error to continue.

Any chance of a fix? Based on your description of the issue a few pages back, it seems like this will be beyond my capacity to correct, other than deciding which mod I want to keep, and dropping the other.

@Xaviien - Apologies for my absence! Been tied up a little. I did make a patch for Animal Variety Coats way back to try and address that specific issue, but the patch must've broke since, possibly due to Animal Variety Coats possibly being updated.

Strange as this may sound, I've managed to stop the below mentioned issue by removing Animal Variety Coats. It's not a direct conflict, as only having those two loaded doesn't cause the error, but with my mod list 164 mods long, having Targeting Modes and Animal Variety Coats makes the game unplayable.

Currently installing DotPeek to take a look in the dll's, but honestly, I don't like my chances. Would really appreciate some assistance or input @XeoNovaDan!

Wildlife seem to be trying to use your mod, and are throwing a red error.

To reproduce, quickstart a new map, put on high speed and wait for them to get hungry.
Please let me know if I can do anything further to assist with tracking down this bug.
