theres a 50% chance that this mod made my generals having kids, until i disabled it and one more they got like 4 kids in one turn when they didnt have a single one in 20 turns

I have finally gotten animations OUT of Total War games, so people can edit them and put them back in the game My program RigidModel Editor 1.0, that can do those things will be released as soon as correct the last few bugs. It can do lots of thingd, including drawing the models with textures, lighting normal mapping, so they look like in-game.

You have to switch the vanilla Campaign Cam mod off, when you use this, because the vanille one can change the behaviour of DeI in a bad way. That is why is made a special mode for DeI.

The campaign camera mod has been updated so it works without any issues for the following campaigns:

- Grand Campaign
- Imperator Augustus
- Cæsar in Gaul
- Empire Divided
- Rise of The Republic

The battle mod camera mod has adjusted so the the movement and rotation speed fits better with the longer range, and min/max height is also slightly adjusted.

Illyrian : Yes, it is true that the campaign camera mods (but NOT the battle cam mod) have conflicts with DEI, and I will llook into that a some point, but none of the HD city mods have any conflicts that alter game mechanics in DeI, so you can keep using them without issue:)

Yes this Camera mod actually blocks the DEI population system from working, I don't know why.
But I'm using both of your HD cities mods as well, and those two work perfectly fine no conflicts with DEI as far as I can tell.

Something about this camera mod messes with the DEI population system, just shuts it off completely.

I have made a new Total War modding tool (in C++):

It can edit texture files names and internal folders, tasks that normally require a hex editor and a LOT of patience.With this tool you can change textures for models very quickly.

@everone: I am currently working on the textures of the armor and shields of the soldiers, making 2K HD textures for them all, what soliders and what gear, from which campaign (Grand Campaign/Cæsar/Augustus, ROTR, Empire Divided, etc.) do YOU think I should start with?
Which soliders are the most important? It is going to be a very long process, so I wish to start with the ones that most people want upgraded. It not even sure, that I will finish this massive project, but I at least want to try :)

@everyone I will be very happy to make a MOD that updates ALL (or the most important) swords in Rome 2 to 1-2K HD. I just need to know which are the most urgent, and also at first from the same campaign if possible (Grand Campaign, or Imperator Augustus, or Cæsar in Gaul, etc.).

Illyrian: It should not do that, but I will have to make a specific DeI version for the newest DeI version, so that there is no risk that is will interfere with the DeI scripts. I will also make a dedicated DeI version of my other campaign map cam mod. A soon as I am able

This looks awesome, really zooms in nicely for a great view, but unfortunately it crashes my DEI 1.2.4 when I click CTRL+S to quick save the game.

I have updated my old gladius with much better texures and editing, now it could stand in for a rough, wornmaybe poorly crafted sword of the common footsolider. It still looks good though :)

Yes, that is why it is in beta, but you can'tr zoom so close in without some clipping, I can se limit a bit higher, but if you want to zoom so close you cannot avoid clipping, where you are in the middle of a hhill and can see polygons around you. But I can set it a bit higher.

great mod but its a litel bit lagy at times and u can zoom under the ground at some places maybe try to fix the minimun foom just above the groud but close do that and fix the lag and i wil absolutly use it

Ah, ok. I dont know about that, and that empty city would not use my textures, the cities that you fight in use totally different models and textures, the mod "Orbis Terrarum" makes thóse ciites look a lot better, so try that, but I don't know how to do the other thing. I Guess you can start a costum battle in a city witrh almost no soliders, then you can look around.

@phazer Basically if you went to a settlement you could go into the settlment details and there would be a button that lets you view the city battle map. Like if you ever fight in a town in rome 2, its just like that but without combat and you can just look at the city. Look at some pictures or videos of rome 1

@phazer He means that you can do like you could in rome 1, pressing the city to view the map without having to fight a battle.
