Does the mod identically rebuild buildings? The rebuild option of the Disasters DLC choose a random building to rebuild instead of the original one.

This mod seems to ignore things really important for handling micromanagement easier.
Roads, don't seem to be handled for rebuilding and neither do power lines.

I have most of the expansions except the promenades expansion and I subscribe to the mod, set the parameters I want but nothing is rebuilt. I have been having this issue since promenades came out. I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled the game. That is the only thing I haven't done

Can't be completely sure but seems like the mod is not working anymore after Plazas & Promenades update. Nothing gets rebuilt automatically. At least doesn't seem to break anything.

Are there any known issues with the Surface Painter mod by Bloody Penguin? After I enabled and ran this mod to restore some historic buildings, all of my custom painted surfaces (e.g. concrete in industrial areas) were removed and replaced with default ground texture. Thanks!

there's a bug where the game won't unpause and you can't build anything when selecting rebuild abandoned buildings

@Keallu: That mod doesn't work properly and never has for me. And getting all my buildings to never be abandoned is not my objective in any case. This is something that I was able to do with your mod though.

@Keallu: Because as I work on attracting more workers there will be fewer and fewer of those buildings being abandoned for lack of workers. This is an area of the city which I have built only by plopping the exact buildings I want there. So I don't want them replaced by others. But because I still lack the required workers, they always end up abandoned. And if I don't set them up to be automatically rebuilt, they eventually end up disappearing altogether.

@pankola: But why are you rebuilding historical buildings then? Couldn't you just disable that? I have noted it and will investigate at some time but very busy with other things at the moment.

I have a bunch of buildings which I plopped and made historical. Some of them I know will be abandoned for lack of workers (which I'm working on attracting). At the end of the month they get rebuilt as intended. The same buildings are rebuilt. The problem is that they are no longer historical after being rebuilt. This didn't happen before. The buildings would be rebuilt with the same model AND also remain historical.

@roberto tomás: I think you must have used Bulldoze It! then. Rebuilt It! never did that. Besides that a recent update made the rebuild of zoned buildings much better.

Ive been away from the game for a while, but last time I turned that setting on, they _were_ rebuilt, but as random other buildings.

I love this mod, a must-have. wishlist item: rebuild historic buildings with _same_ model (then I could turn on "abandoned buildings" and "zoned buidlings"
